My February or much more my Valentine´s Day challenge has been to style and wear pink looks from the first of February until Valentine´s Day and I not only did I make it through easily I also loved it a lot to wear pink for 2 weeks straight. It somehow boosted my mood and also made me happy for Spring and all its gorgeous colors.
14 Days of Pink
So let´s recap all of the 14 pink looks I have worn.
A turtleneck is probably my number one fashion piece in the Fall and Winter. I am turning into a whole Diane Keaton around those months and my neck becomes a really rare sight.
But what is it that makes the turtleneck so versatile for Winter? Of course the neckline. Surprise!!! It is easy and looks good to layer underneath most pieces likes vests, dresses, cardigans or blazer jackets.
For today´s post I wanted to share different ways you can style your turtleneck that you will be and stay happy with it until Spring comes back around.
I call this look modern rodeo style and I would definitely wear it to one if I was in Texas or someplace else a super cool rodeo took place.
The color combination of green and brown turned out amazing. The chocolate brown totally makes the green pop. I would totally wear this to work as well. I definitely looks chic but and I would also call it office appropriate – maybe just swap out the shoes.
The accessories have the upper hand here in this outfit. A headband, scarf and shiny heart shaped statement earrings – why not ?! Also how cool are cowboy boots!!! I have had mine for years and can´t get over the fact how cool they make me look 😉
Brown is still the most fabulous colors of all. Who would have thought that I come to love it as much as I do now. I have never had much chocolate brown in my closet but since my Neverfull and the rising of the color I definitely added some pieces.
I wanted to share this look with all of you although it is definitely a Spring appropriate style but why not post some inspo already. The whole outfit is pretty casual so I added the blazercoat for a more polished look. It is so cool and immidiately elevates the jeans and sneaker combo. A jersey turtleneck and my beloved handbag rounds up the look.
The sneakers are a recent find from Marco Tozzi and they are amazing. Not only are they super comfortable but the metallic brown is so pretty and I am sure come Spring and Fall I will get tons of use out of it.
Where to wear this cute blazercoat? I would say it works for many options. Casual like I have styled it with sneakers and denim or maybe over a dress pant for the office, with a pair of sequin pants for a fancy night out or with leggings and boots and a knit turtleneck under for a Winter appropriate look that keeps you warm.
