FYI: I prepared this blog post before our baby girl arrived so there would still be fresh content on the blog while I am taking a break from blogging. That’s why you’ll still see me pregnant or referencing my pregnancy in some upcoming blog posts!

Olive green has always been such an underrated color while it is also such a great partner to a huge bunch of other colors. Also if you have green eyes make sure to wear olive more often as your eye color is going to pop.

What makes olive green a Spring color is that is can be the darker option to your bright or pastel colors but it isn´t really dark at all.

The shirt underneath my button up shirt I have worn as cargo jacket here has a flower pattern which also helps a lot to think of Spring plus all light accessories. Spring is all about light/bright colors and they are definitely needed after a long winter. So if it is still chillier outside like on the day I have worn this look you can always add a cute jacket over your shirt or wear a pair of booties. So you´ll see it does not always have to be black.

You might now that I love me a cute dress more than anything else and if you are new to my site, well hello I am Katie and I probably have to admit I am a dress addict.

But let´s be honest, is there anything easier in terms of Spring style than throwing on a cute dress plus a jacket and walk out the door. You don´t have to search for a matching piece for your skirt or shirt. The simplicity of wearing a dress is remarkable and it also makes me feel so cute and feminine wearing one plus most of my dresses still fit from before I was pregnant, they just get a little stretched, so this is also a huge upside.

The flower print dress I am wearing above is from SheIn I ordered about three weeks ago and I have to admit they really stepped up their game in terms of quality. The dress is under 20 Euro but made of really good quality. The fabric seems to be really great, no loose threads anywhere and it is proper lined.

I know that flowers aren´t the most surprising pattern for Spring but I like them a lot and in my opinion they totally fit the season so I am going to wear flower prints for many upcoming years. And also isn´t it the best to style if there are so many color options in a print?! I went with the red and added some accents in the same color like my studded ballet flats, my headband and my lips and with the navy blue for my biker style jacket. Another color I wanted toincorporate, which I think worked really great, was the bright green from my handbag. This is the first green handbag I have ever owned (got it last Spring) and I totally missed out cause the amount of times I have used this shopper already is huge. Maybe green is the most underrated colors of all, the Pantone underdog.

Hello my lovely ladies,

(post cointains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthölt Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

how are you holding up during these difficult times at all? At some points I really think I am going stir crazy over here but I am still pretty good at distracting myself and find something else to do. Bless this big house with its many corners.

I still have a bunch of pregnancy outfits I want to share with you, but they also all work without a bump as there are only a few pieces I got from the maternity sections like leggings/jeans.

Pink is a great color to add to your Spring wardrobe and it mustn´t always be a hot Barbie pink. A blush or a darling rosewood shade like the jacket I am wearing above still looks great and discret but also super feminine and can be worn so many ways. I have worn it with a flower print turtleneck shirt which matched the color pretty great but it would look gorgeous with a crisp white blouse (can´t wait to wear it this way but blouses are not on my side these days) or a dress underneath.

And of course it hasn´t to be a pair of dark colored pants. A pair of white denim, creme colored slacks or or olive cargo pants look cute as well. Pink is a very versatile colors and matches great with many others.

Spring isn´t normally my favorite season but it is different this year. It is exciting and new with the baby coming and unfortunately a little scary with all the bad news everyday but as dump as it sounds we have to focus on the bright side and do everything for us possible to help solve this problem.

So see you tomorrow for another Spring look, easy to copy and comfy to wear.

Hi you guys,

(post contains affiliate llinks/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate LInks-not sponsored)

although it is very unknown if we are able to celebrate Easter with any other than the people you are in the same household with during this pandemic, nevertheless I put together a Easter dress lookbook for all of you who still want to dress up for the holiday.

I am a huge fan of midi and maxi dresses. I think there isn´t anything more feminine than a flowy dress for warmer weather festivites and they always fit no matter what you do. Super easy to dress up and of course also dress down. This way you can get a lot of use out of every single dress you own.

In this post I styled four different dresses in colors and prints and although they seem to be similar (two are exactly the same in fact) all are styled with other accessories than the one before. I always depends on where you life and what weather you have but adding a jacket and a pair of closed heels can make all the difference some time. I decided to imagine the weather will be nice and warm like it has been last week so I went with sandals, mules and espadrilles.
