aren´t peplum tops the most flattering shirts out there?! Fitted on the top, wider on the bottom plus the darling ruffles which distract from certain areas.

I got this super cute shirt a few weeks back in the mail and loved wearing it. The oatmeal color is absolutely great and fits oh so many other colors whether you wear it with a white pair of jeans or a red pair of slacks.

For this style I opted for white skinny jeans and a classic blue oversized denim jacket. My summer shoes of choice are of course esparilles and to complement the look a summery handbag made of rafia.

Yesterday I have ordered a paddling pool for our garden and I can´t wait for it to arrive and to sit in it. The heat around here is killing me. We only have hot days or cold days but no enjoyable days heatwise. Going to report back when it is setup.

Is a linen dress a good idea for Summer?

Happy Monday,

since last week I have started my next project. Loosing the baby weight and eating healthier. I have not started because I heard your milk supply will drop when you start eating less calories but I haven´t found proof anywhere plus I also tried it out and so far it hasn´t been true. I am currently on day 6 of working out and dieting and still in good spirits.

So for fashion I am so happy to be able to have a bunch of Summer styles for you on my agenda. Going to post them one after another and make sure to check back cause I got a ton of cute outfits.

But let´s talk about this cute linen summer dress. Why should you get one and what are the benefits of linen.

What makes linen the perfect Summer material ?

– linen has such a nice down to earth look to it cause of the way it is woven

– the matieral absorbs moisture from your body and leads it to the outside of your garment and that keeps you cool

– because it is woven so tight it also protects from wind and sun

Lot´s of benefits from one material. I would definitely recommend to try it if you hate to sweat like I do and are looking for different Summer pieces.

White Denim Jacket for Summer…

We are in the middle of Summer although it hasn´t become real summery over here. The weather is quite mixed up which means in this case it is hot for three days and rainy for three days. So in regards of outfit planning it has become really hard. But as you know me I am not a huge fan of the Summer heat and Summer activities I don´t mind to much.

What I do like about Summer are the fun prints and vibrant colors we get to wear. The maxi dress for example has this gorgeous royal blue hue I love so much.

Another thing I love about the dress is the length. A maxi dress has always been one of mý favorites as it is super uncomplicated to wear. Just throw it on and you are ready to go out. In the worst case you wouldn´t even have to shave your legs.

For this look I added a white jean jacket and a pair of silver sandals but you could have easily gone with a brighter color like red too.

For tomorrow I have planned a huge post including all things breastfeeding, pumping and more.

Real life styles have been pretty rare over here the last couple of weeks as most of the days I am not gettting dressed although I have tons of Summer stuff but we are mostly in our garden so why make a fuss about it. But I swear I am getting better again. In time periods where I have a little sag I usually watch The Devil wears Prada or some episodes of Dynasty and that really gets my creative juices flowing in terms of styles and wanting to get dressed up again.
