Good morning fashionistas

and happy Friday. I hope your Valentine´s day was great. I have been out and about to a fabulous crêpe place about two weeks ago. Sometimes it just has to be more. The better restaurant, the fancier dish … do you recall ?! Also if you want to wear that extraordinary, heads-turning cape go for it. I definitely did and I was feeling very french at this day to say the least. Maybe also becaue of the beret but you get me right?!

The Place

We have a little restaurant/café/hotel called Orphée in Regensburg and in my opinion it is one of the prettiest, tiniest and comfiest places you will find all over the city. It has the old french charm with lots of paintings and framed mirrors and wooden wainscoting in dark and moody colors. Just the right place to sit and drink a cup of coffee and read a highly dramatic love story or to have some delicious crêpes. We had a chocolate filled crêpe and one with sugar and cinnmon and both where delicious. They are soft and fluffy and overal so flavorful. If you are visitung make sure you never leave this place without trying this french deliciousness.

The Look

So for the outfit – I ordered this cape back in December cause I saw Teggy French wearing one and I always love the idea of also having one (also it is a little unpractical in real cold temperatues since you will freeze with it, but hey, who really cares). I got it from SheIn and it is available in two more colors with the windowpane pattern and in five more colors without the pattern and the best it is under 25 € you guys.

Wishing all of you a nice weekend. Take care. See you.

Happy Thursday friends and happy Valentine´s day,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

luckily my last work day for this week today (I am still sick and it takes me forever to get up and running in the morning, should have stayed at home the rest of the week). So we are going to stay in this evening and get a load of delicious chinese food. It is probably all I can think about today.

And since I have nothing planned for tomorrow I am finally going to tackle another section of my dressing room, after sleeping in (absolutely need that). The cardigan section. A cardigan is your perfect friend for upcoming spring weather (it is already around the corner friends – better weather !!) as you can wear it with and over almost everything so I want to know exactly what I have and what needs to be washed or fixed or donated.

The Look

But for today I have another winter inspired look (depends on where you are reading my blog from to dress accordingly to the weather). This was a kind of an untypical combination for me. Green and black but I loved it and it worked. I was wearing an all black look (black tights and booties, black faux leather skirt and black shirt) and paired it with a black and white faux fur vest and a fun green and black striped silk scarf.

So guys we only have three or so cold weather looks to go and then it is going to be spring all over the blog. Color explosions, pastell frivolities and so much more.

Winter Style // Plaid poncho under 30 Euro + leather leggings…

plaid poncho SheIn / leather leggings sold out similar here and here / Michael Kors handbag / beanie Asos sold out similar here and here

….

Hi guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I have a few wintery posts left to post but I am already full on spring outfit planning. I just can´t stand the snow and ice anymore (have a look at yesterday´s post) and as much as I love to include a  black piece of clothing into my look I am pretty over it.

Nevertheless I wanted to share this adorable plaid poncho with you I got the other months. I is super soft and I have won it several times since I got it. Perfect to throw over and feel cozy.

I paired it with a matching beanie and my beloved dark red Michael Kors handbag. Also a pair of leather leggins is great to wear under a poncho.

Are you already in spring fever and craving better weather ? Hopefully we get there soon. It is supposed to get better on the weekend so I hope the snow is going to finally melt away. So it is going to be spring looks next week.

Also I am finally feeling better after being so sick one week. I really can´t remember the last time I have been so sick. Stupid flu season.

So have a nice evening and speak to you again tomorrow.

Escaping the cold and dark months of winter would be so nice. But after a long break over Christmas only working for a few weeks and then going back on vacation seems quite impossible. So I am dreaming away the days by thinking about white and sandy beaches, warm air on my skin and the smell of the ocean in my nose (although I have to admit I am really picky with tropcial getaways as I don´t like it super hot and humid).

Some days of winter are so dark I don´t even want to go outside (I have to because of Chloe but our walks are pretty short in the winter) and stay in bed under my blanket all day. I am sad that there are so many things you can´t do and also that it is dark all day, every day. This really hits hard on me but even if I went away it probably would be the same after we are back. So I am sitting here watching epidsodes where it is currently summer and hoping it will be over soon.

But let´s just think about the possibility and imagine what to pack. I went to Florida in Feburary for many times before I even had my blog and always packed too much although I really know what I needed and what not (overpacking hasn´t gotten better since then).

Colorful suitcase // Love the Suit Suit cases. They have the colorful turtle shell inspired line and also a retro line including lots of pastells. I have loved them ever since I got my first and got many more and also gifted some to family and friends. The qualitiy is great and therefore the prices very reasonable.

Flowy dresses // An absolute summer statement piece whether going out in the evening or wearing it throughout the day. They even look great as a beach cover-up.

Bathing suits // No words needed.

Sandals // Best to pack one pair of every heels. Flat, block heel and high heels.

Basket bags // Perfect addition to spring and summer looks. Basket bags asdd such an ease to summer looks.

Beach bag // A necessity for beach days.

Sunglasses // I always like to bring two or three sunglasses to a trip to match my looks but also sometimes I get uncomfortable wearing the same pair for days and I am glad if I have a back-up with me to change.

Suncream // Super important for beach vacations or tropical getaways. The sun is intense and even more after we have been hiding our pale body´s in lots of clothes the last months.

Are you also dreaming or are you heading somewhere nice and warm? I would love to know. Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
