I had so much planned for today but the weather has been a real b****. So maybe we can make our planned trip tomorrow and I will tag you along.

But let´s talk about this shoot. I have seen so many dresses shot in “fields of gold” and I always wanted to try that too. There is something so magical and romantic about the atmosphere shooting in a wheat field. To say the least finally getting this done (which has been on my shooting list for forever ) made me really happy today.

How to style the Romantic Flower Dress

Flowy flower print maxi dresses instantly set the mood for some romance. In my opinion there is nothing that screams Summer evenings with a cool glass of wine, watching the sunset in your garden more than that.

The flowers and the airy flowy dress is such a cute piece to wear everyday but also for an evening out. I am a big believer that a hair style and a pair of shoes changes the whole dynamic of a look and it is the same here. 

In Summer time everything is a little easier and looser stylewise so wearing a Summer dress to the office would also work just add a light blazer made of linen or seesucker to it.

we made a BBQ today the first time this Summer and it was delicous. I totally forgot how much fun it is inviting people over for dinner and just sit outside chattinga and eating. We may have finally arrived in Summer over here. 

How to style the Artdeco dress

Don´t we all love a little frill on our dresses ? If you are a reader of mine I totally think you do as much as I do. Whether it is a dress for going out or going to work or running errands or chasing your kids. Little details to make us feel better are very welcome in these hard times.

I found this cute little dress about 4 weeks ago at the H&M sale rack and I love it. I have worn it to dinner and casual like in the pictures. The black artdeco inspired print on the creme background pops right out and looks so fabulous. I love prints and have all kinds of different ones in my closet but this one definitely is outstanding.

The dress itself doesn´t need much but for today´s strange weather I went with a cardigan. It would also make a great dancing dress with the cute frills at the bottom and the movement.

it has been a wild one. Emilia and I went swimming today and I got her a cute new toy from amazing. A little sink to play with and wash the dishes and she loves it but to be honest I think she loves everything with water.

It is the 15th of July today which means the first half of my 31 days of Summer dresses series is over and I have quite some cute pieces to come so make sure to check back if you like. 

How to style a high neck dress

I have been finding myself wearing lots of sneakers lately when the weather is to bad for sandals cause chasing after Emilia requires flat shoes mostly.

A few years ago I would have never worn sneakers and a dress together but times and taste changes over time.

I can not believe the weekend is right around the corner. I have many fun things planned and I am going to take you along if you like to. Currently I am sitting in bed and watching the new episodes of season three of Virgin River. I am so happy they finally released the new season but ultimately I am waiting for the next season of Selling Sunset – my favorite. 

But anyways I am going to share dresses until the end of the month so it will be a full on fashion month of July. It is lots of preparation and to be honest I am a little behind but luckily the weekend is here and we can shot all the dresses for next week.

How to style the casual everday stroped dress

The dress is pretty by itself so there mustn´t be added a lot to make it work but of course you can play with accessories and jacket for example. I added a white pair of statement earrings and pushed my hair back on the sides so the focues would be on them. 

To make the look even more summery I added a straw handbag and a pair of cute blue and white striped mules. If it´s a little chilly you can add a denim jacket or a linen blazer.

I can´t believe there are only two more weeks left of July and the last month of Summer approaches. Time goes by so quick sometimes I can´t keep up.
