Seventies colors…..

Hi guys

and happy Sunday. The weather is rainy and cold – AGAIN (this is so annoying – I cant´t believe it) so I switched to pants and a jacket and a light summer scarf.

It is no secret that the seventies could have been my decade. I love the colors and all the patterns and the materials.

So here is an outfit inspired by orange – tan – and paisley 🙂

Wishing you all a nice and productive week. We have a couple free days next week and spending two days in a super nice and old city. Stay tuned for updates.
Take care. See you. Love K.

Instagram and live lately….

Hi guys

since the European Championship it didn´t get restful at all – which I hoped for but there are many festivities in and around our city. The last weekend we had been to the Jazz – Festival. I never liked Jazz music that much or even thought about listening to it and I probably won´t become a huge fan but listening to it for a couple hours or a night out is really nice and in every way some abwechslung..

There also was a festival called the spectaculum. Is is kind of medieval market with knights and lots of different showman. They duplicated a market from the earlier times where you can find food and craft. They had little wood swords for children and arrows and headbands with flowers and beads for girls (my honey also got a pink one for me 🙂 ). They also offered lots of great ciders with pear and berry flavors and a delicious beer with ginger flavor. At night they had live music with a band that played rock music mixed with bag pipe sounds and violins.
We also went out for some Indian food on our usual Wednesday Date Night and I gotta admit it has been the first time.
It was mindblowing delicious – I missed a lot by not trying it throughout the years.
I ate a dish called Beef Vindaloo. It has been with beef (super soft) and potatoes and rice.

But another great thing about summer is — SUMMER SALE

It mostly starts during the summer and almost every year before I am going on my summer vacation so there are a few brandnew and super affordable things to grab and wear.

Here are some dresses for your inspiration. Currently on sale. Be quick – they will be sold out soon…..

I do like the turquoise one the most – but I had always been into ocean colors.

Coffee Table Decoration Ideas…..

Hi guys

I always loved – and still do love hosting all kinds of events like a brunch, a dinner or just an afternoon coffee meeting. Last thing we had yesterday. I had my whole family over for coffee and of course for some delicious cake to show them the new house we are living now ( – for gods sake it is already done). I had been thinking a lot upfront about the table decoration and I decided to go with an outisde theme as we were sitting on the patio. As I had this nice coffee table cup and plate set I decided to got with the colors green and purple – an awesome combination I did never recognice -but these colors rock toghether.

So here we go – this is everything I used ( got the flowers and the lavender from the fields behind the house and our garden)
So first of all for the drinks – besides the regular coffee I had some refreshing sparkling water  with slices of lemon for this little lemon scent in the water and as an apperitiv for the guests after arriving an Jules Mumm with Acai flavor – a brasilian berry.

I made two cakes ( we were eight people – so I was afraid it wouldn´t be enoug to eat) – the small one was a sand cake and the other one has been a Pina Colada cake with pineapples and some rum. Yummy 🙂

I cut some fresh lavender from our garden to make the little bouquets for the plates.

I hope you all had a nice weekend and sorry for posting so late today. Oops.
Take care. See you. Love K.
