I love pasta. Spaghetti, maccaroni, penne and every other noodle on the planet. It is something I can´t get enough of and I could eat two times a day, every day. That is why I am shying away from it a little and only sometimes cook pasta at home. But then I go all in with my favorite ingredients and a glass of vino.

Serving this meal makes you look like a pro as you can beautifully drape it on the plate. Also the flavours of the pesto, the shrimps and the parmesan cheese go so well with the pine nuts. Overall a super quick meal to make. Takes 20 minutes max. and so

 Ingredients:
– shrimps (I buy them frozen and marinated but you can also use fresh ones)
– spaghetti
– pine nuts
– parmesan cheese
– green pesto

 – brown the shrimps in a pan until crisp
– boil hot water in a pot and add spaghetti – let cook for about 10 minutes or how you like it)
– sieve cooked spaghetti and add to the shrimps
– add pesto and let it cook on low heat for about 10 minutes
– take another pan and roast the pine nuts (the taste is better and more intense if you do that but don´t leave the pan as this happens very fast)
– serve on pretty pasta plates and sprinkle with the roasted pine nuts and grated parmesan cheese

I really enjoy the simplicity and versatility of pasta recipes. You could easily eat a different dish for the rest of your lives.

hand bag trends are sometimes like mayflies. They pop up quickly and before your order has even arrived at home they aren´t that trendy anymore (like the net bags, embellished bags or overly monogrammed ones). And there are also trends that stay a long time and everybody has to have like the satchel bags (Alexa Chung made that clear) and the ring handle bags (Chloé´s wait list might be endless) and also the saddle bags popped back up from the Dior brand. But I have discovered another trend. As I love reading other blogs and also browsing the stores online for new arrivals I have seen one significant bag appear everywhere.

The 3-in-1 bag (that is how I called it as names differ a lot). It can be worn as a shoulder bag, backpack or a hand bag with a short strap to carry. I have found several models from affordable to expensive and I also got one for me at our bachelorette weekend (my SIL discovered this hidden treasure, she got hers in tan and I got mine in a light gray and another bridemaid got hers the next day in classic black). 

Other brands have also discovered the diversity of this model so I have seen a model from Senreve carried by Rachel, Blair and Julia. Freshly Picked (a brand for high quality diaper bags and baby shoes) also carries one in their range. As seen on Katelyn. 

I also did some research and found a pretty cute model on Asos (available in brown and black).
What do you think? Could this be the next It-Bag or is it just too practical?

Although we came back from our honeymoon yesterday so I am planning to get at least one vacation post up this week. And I have an appointment at the hair dresser today for some major changes. Stay tuned.

TADAAA !! I am finally sharing the favours I got/made for our guests. I wanted to already share them before our wedding but since some of my guests are reading my blog this wouldn´t be the best idea. 

I had this on my mind for a long time but still was looking for something else but there isn´t anything else I liked better. Since I have had M&M´s personalized for Florian´s birthday last year and I have seen how many options they offer I was sold. Although I didn´t know that would be married the next year and one week later. 

Just have a look at their site. They offer print and colors for everything whether you need something for Valentines for a baby shower or a birthday. The service is really good too. We waited about a week until they shipped our package. If you are ordering in summer like I did don´t worry. Your M&M´s are packed in a  case packed with cool packs. 
Since there where so many colors to choose from I went with the orange of my wedding color theme and added a nude color to it. The Just Married lettering and the ring symbol are the two pictures I wanted. The rest was our names and the date so people would acutally remember from which wedding the sweets were.
For packaging I didn´t even give it a thought. I loved the idea of filling them into these little glasses and tie a little thank you tag around it. They are not supposed to be eaten but if somebody wants to you get access easily.
Overall personalized M&M´s aren´t cheap. A 1.5 kilo package costs 80 Euro and I needed two of them and we are a really small wedding group compared to others. The little glasses where 0,75 Euro each. I got mine from Nanu Nana but I am sure you can get them in every craft store.

Transitioning into fall – tie sleeves and velvet…

Hi guys,
two weeks ago we had a real peek into fall weather. It had rained the night before and it was really chilly the next day, the day we shoot the pictures. I was so happy that it had finally cooled down so I could wear my felt hats, my thin sweaters, pumps and denim. I don´t know about you but I can not wear a pair jeans when it is hot outside and I am constantly sweating. They won´t get higher than to my knees. Little embarassing but I just can´t help it.

I wanted to be outside the whole day to soak up the fresh and crisp air but unfortunately it started raining in the afternoon so we cuddled up on the sofa, lit a pumpkin candle and enjoyed homemade roasted sweet potatoes.

All the pieces in this look (except the hat and the shoes) sat on the shelf and waited to be worn. I am still searching for a perfect pair of black jeans. Haven´t found it yet allthough I have three pairs (a kick flare pant – the one I am wearing here, a distressed one and a patchwork one) but none of them is a hundred percent good. They are about 85 which is good for me cause somehow I have a strange relationship to black jeans. Somedays I love them and someday I hate them, there is no inbetween. Anyways this pair was perfect for a cold day. The denim material is thick and totally tucks you in. 

Velvet is one of my most worn material in fall so I really couldn´t say no to this beautiful bag. Have you seen all the different colors. How great is this going to be to pair with all the fun fall colors. Also the shopper holds a lot. It is really roomy and on SALE you guys.

By so many different colors in the bag finding a matching sweater was really easy. This little tie-sleeve number is so adorable I have worn it three days in a row already. So happy this trend is going last another season as I just can´t get enough of it.
