I hope you all have adjusted to the new work week. I still have my problems cause I want to go back to Italy so badly by going through all of our vacation pictures.

The pink dress I am wearing above is a great piece I found about three weeks ago. I really like colors year round but I think they are a little more appropriate in summer. Even though I didn´t have taned skin there I think it fits great for every ocassion. 
 I first thought of combining some darker colors to it like brown or gray but I wanted to wear this pretty crocheted shopper so badly so I went with all white and I loved it.
Seems to be a great year for pink cause I have never seen so many different and affordable dresses  in a gorgeous pink shade than this year. 
Do you tend to wear pink a lot or is it a no-go for you?

we are back from our vavation so I am starting the day with a bittersweet feeling today. First of all we are happy to be back cause we missed Chloe and our bed so much but second of all I am back at work today and the weather isn´t as great as the last days so I really would like to have a couple more days.

Also the laudry and the unpacking and the thousands of pictures to sort. Oh boy. So let´s move on to this look I have worn before we left. I really am a lover of maxi dresses and maxi skirt and and also pleated skirts so when they are all in one send them right over.

Coral is a great summer color. It matches so perfectly with taned skin (didn´t have one in this pic but I am on it) and also with so many colors. With dark greens, with nudes and whites and grays and black.

I paired it with a black shirt including a gorgeous flower print. I really loved flowers from the beginning and even if they aren´t on trend anymore I won´t stop wearing them cause they are a real staple to me.

Hi guys,

since Summer began two days ago I am first of all wishing all of you a happy Summer and second of all I am sharing my favorite Summer songs on the blog with you today.

Summer really is one of the best seasons, although I am a fall girl and enjoy the cooler temperatures.






We are still at Lake Garda and enjoying our last day today which means we are going back tomorrow and finally see Chloe again cause we miss her so much

Food Friday – homemade delicious strawberry jam…

Hi guys,

since strawberry season is still going strong (hopefully we will be blesses with this delicities as long as possible) I am sharing my jam recipe over here. This really is the simplest recipe I have ever made. 

The only thing you need is jam sugar and strawberries and maybe a squeeze of lemon if your strawberries are pretty sweet.

Ingredients:
– 1,5 kilo strawberries
– 1 package of 3:1 jam sugar (should be 500 gr.)
– 1 lemon

Instructions:
– wash the strawberries and cut of the stems. 
– puree the strawberries (depends on how smooth you want the puree to be)

– put the whole package of sugar and the strawberry puree into a pot and heat it up
– put the timer on 4 minutes by the time it starts to cook and let it cook for the whole time
– be sure to stir from time to time and to take a non-sticking pot
– be sure to wash the jars with hot water before filling in the simmering mass so the jars won´t explode
– fill your jam mixture into the jars, close them and turn them upside down until the mixutre is set
(you can also read the instructions on the package)
I put a ribbon around it and a tag onto it and gifted a few to family members but you can also eat them all by yourself.
