Happy Sunday you guys,

since Thanksgiving is over most of the people I know are in full Christmas decoration mood and have been working all weekend to get that magical feel into the house (and to be honest this year needs it more than ever).

I for myself decided to go along with my crafty side and to decorate some wreaths for my mom and myself (and I really really suck at anything handmade or crafty, I used to glue myself to the table as a kid – by accident). So you can believe me when I say that this DIY is super easy.

The wreaths are from our local drug store as well as the cute little ornaments, pine cones, snowflakes and apples but at this time of the year you can get them literally everywhere.

Starting with the first theme. I wanted it to include as much red as possible and it somehow turned out as a sweet apple and candy cane wreath. The first thing I did was plug in the hot glue pistol and then lay out all the pieces I wanted to put on the wreath. It is much easier to lay it out before. That is my only tip, but the most important. You can make sure you don´t have to much or to less on your wreath and it doesn´t look akward.

The second wreath is a winter wood theme with lots of pine cones and snowflakes. I also added a few little golden ornaments.

A decorated wreath would make a great hostess gift or just a little thoughfulness for a loved person.
