Hi dolls,

is right ahead of us I can feel it, I can smell it – don´t you think
too that you can smell Spring in the wind ?! – the flowers are starting
to bloom and the grass is getting greener everyday. This all gets me
really in the Easter mood. Some weeks ago Florian´s mom had her birthday
and I picked up a nice bouquet of flowers at our local florist.
They had the cutest Easter decoration pieces I have seen in a while.
Beautiful rabbit figures and matte and shiny metallic ceramic eggs.
Little wooden sticks for your flower pots in different pastell colors. I
was so overwhelmed that I first had to think about a color theme for my
Spring and Easter decoration. I went with pink and orange with pops of white. This is such a nice, fresh and poping color combination for Easter.

Frühling ist da meine Lieben. Ich kann es fühlen und ich finde man kann
es riechen – es liegt in der Luft. Die Blumen fangen an zu blühen, dass
Gras wird jeden Tag grüner, Das alles bringt mich so richtin in Oster-
und Frühlingsstimmung. Vor ein paar Wochen hatte Florians Mama
Geburtstag und wir haben in unserem örtlichen Blumenladen einen schönen
Strauß zusammenstellen lassen. Und in der Wartezeit hab ich die süßesten
Osterdekosachen entdeckt die man sich nur vorstellen kann. Kleine
Häschen in weiß und rosa. Verschieden große metallisch glänzende oder
matte silberne Eier. Kleine Holzspieße für Bumentöpfe in verschiedenen
Pastellfarben. Ich war so überwältigt bei den ganzen verschiedenen
Dingen und Farben das ich mir erstmal ein Farbthema für meinen
Ostertisch ausgedacht habe. Ich hab mich für Pink und Orange entschieden
mit weißen Details. Die Farbkombi ist richtig popping und frisch für
den Frühling.

Carrot Cake Recipe – Ingredients:


– 375 gr. of carrots – grated
– 250 gr. of flour  
– 2 tsp. baking soda
– 200 gr. of sugar
– 1 tsp. cinnamon
– 250 ml. of rapeseed oil
– 4 eggs
– 200 gr. of almonds (grounded)

Put all the ingridients together and stir until you have a smooth mass.
Bake for 40 minutes by 180 degrees. 

– 300 gr. of cream cheese
– 100 gr. of powdered sugar
– 1 pck. of vanilla sugar

Put all the ingridients together and stir until you have a smooth mass. Spread over the cake and take a spatula to produce a sleek finish.

Et voila. Perfect cake for Easter. Florian loves this one so I am going to bake it a little more often.
