we are a day away from Halloween which means October really comes to an end. We are invited to a Dungeons & Dragons playing party tomorrow and I have so say I am honestly looking forward to it and can´t wait to play. Ever since watching the Big Bang Theory I wondered how it would be playing the game.
But let´s talk about our master bedroom reveal. We thought this day would never come but it is finally here and our master is done.
You may remember how the room looked when we first moved in (if not you can view the post here) and let me tell you it has changed a lot. Not only did we change the wall color but also almost every other piece of funiture in there.
Wall Color
As much as I like orange I did not appreciate it as a paint color so we changed it into one gray accent wall behind the bed and the rest all white. Since I wanted all white furniture this made the most sense and also I wanted the walls and the wall color to look as clean as possible.
Furniture
For furniture we kept the bed and the night stands but I ended up changing the knobs. If you are looking for different knobs Anthropologie is a great source as well as Amazon. The side board has been a struggle to get. I wanted a full mirrored piece but it was just to expensive so I found this adorable piece which was also quite expensive but came as close to the inital one I wanted.
The first thing I got was the leopard print carpet I built the whole room and decoration concept around. I loved the soft turquoise color right away and tried to get as many similar thinks as possible.
Decoration
Decorating is one of my favorite things and in my opinion it really adds the finishing touching to a whole rooom. I love to get a few things in the main color of the room like candles or pillows and also a bunch of decoration in a clean white and always a metall. In this case I went with silver cause it fits the room perfectly.
Now we only have two rooms left on which we are working currrently. The office is almost done, only decoration is missing. The nursery is planned out very well and will hopefully be done in December so I can show it to our whole family on our Christmas dinner.
