I have worn this kind of outfit already more times than I can coun´t and I still can´t get over how quick it makes you look really cool. The sneakers, the oversized coat, the wide leg pants and a colorful cap on top.
You can find it everwhere. The basic look with a pair of wide leg pants and the adidas sneakers. Pair it with a soft and cozy sweater and a matching cap and there you have the bones of your cool mom wardrobe.
Since it is very cold right now adding an oversized coat adds a lot of interest and style to the whole look.
We started the week with a holiday over here, so we visited my great-aunt in the city. She is very old and most of her relatives and friends are already gone so she is always happy when she gets visits especially
On Friday we have watched the last episodes of Yellowstone and the season finale of it and I have to say some things have been very needless but overall it has had a great ending. Now we are back to square one and looking for a new series.
I have finally put away all of our Christmas decor and the trees. I have to admit I am feeling a little sad that all the magic and the lights are gone but now everything is back to my normal decor and I have also added a new plant to my little jungle corner. MONDAY – The girls love to help in the kitchen and making pizza is one of their favorite things to make cause each can use up the ingredients they love the most.
TUESDAY – Lentil soup and grilled cheese

THURSDAY – Chicken wings and potatoes
FRIDAY – Noodles with ham and cheese
SATURDAY – Chinese take-out
SUNDAY – Schnitzel and mashed potatoes
Fashion
Cute cold weather fashion is still all the rave around here. Warm scarves, cool coats and colorful beanies will be all around next week.
Activities
To be honest there wasn´t much we did cause the weather is still too cold. Our middle girl is always cold when outside so it really is no fun going anywhere. I hope we soon get milder temperatures so we can go on day trips again.
Kindergarten has started again on Tuesday and it was dearly neccessary cause I can not wait to get back into my weekly schedule and have a better overlook of everything that has to happen or will be the next few weeks.
Misc
Karneval will also be in a few short weeks so I ordered the two big girls and myself witch costumes. Before you get to my Halloween crazy self, I did not request the witch costumes, it was my daughter.
I just love a great organization hack but to be honest this wasn´t really necessary until it was. I have a very cute little toddler who obviously loves to play the floor is lava and she used all of our board game and puzzle boxes to set up her game and jump from box to box. She not only slipped and fell but also destroyed all the cardbord boxes to a maximum so it was time for a solution.

I have used these mesh bags for years now for different things to store. The girl´s birthday keepsake, documents, pencils and books for restaurant visits and now also our puzzles and games.

We had a few days of Winter with snow but it does not stop us from dressing cute am I right ladies?! I just love a cute sweater / skirt combo and therefore we have tights.
Pleated mini skirts made a huge comeback the last year and still are an important piece of fashion. I have paired this adorable pleated pinstriped mini skirt with a creme colored cardigan. This cardigan is one of the few things I have in 3 colors. That is how much I love it.
In German Winters you can´t go without tights so a pair of navy tights it was. For outerwear I love a coat in the Winter. I know there are lots of adorable puffer jackets out there but I don´t like the cold around my lower back and butt.
I definitely have a love/hate relationships with short skirts. Definitely prefer them in the Fall and Winter time cause with tights I do not feel naked and I also always think that I am to old for mini skirt although I am not that old and this look might proof that I can still wear them as well.
As far as shoes go I did not have the biggest choice that day cause the weather was just too bad so I went with a pair of creme colored lug boots (probably my most worn shoes this year cause I just like a lighter colored boot way more than a black one) and I think it turned out really cute.
Navy blue is such an underrated color but it does look great paired with so many other colors or even in a monochrome look. I also think it does such a lot of people more than black cause it isn´t as harsh and dark.
