there are several styles of skirts I totally adore. And an a-line silhouette in a midi length totally belongs to them.

Did you know that the a-line shape belongs to the „New Look“ silhouettes created by Christian Dior. He invented new silhouettes for women after the world war cause people where suffering and saving enough throughout many years. He designed jacket and skirts which where made of lavishing fabrics. This soon became super popular and the house of Dior is still popular until today for his „New Look“.

So I for today´s post I have teamed up with Zaful to show you the type of skirt I was talking above. I picked the striped high waisted skirt white and black and I think it is adorable.
Cause of the slim waist the skirt makes such a flattering hour glass silhouette. The skirt is high-waisted which I especially love and it is pretty long so I have to wear it with high heels (I am only 5.5′). I went with a pair of black pointed suede heels and a black bag so I wouldn´t distract from the skirt.
 It is made of a neopren material which I think is pretty cool cause it is really thick so the skirt doesn´t loose its shape at all. 
There is also a short lining underneath.

In fact everything is really great. The size I ordered fits perfectly. Be sure to queck the size guide before ordering as every piece fits differently. The only downside is that the hem isn´t stitched but I am not quite sure if that is probably with such a thick material. And it is under 25 €/$ so you can´t go wrong.

Hair tutorial – how I curl my hair and the products I am using….

^usually it was about the hair style but I kind of liked the outfit so….^

^first I section off my strands and I take those clips to keep them in place^

^I use heat protection spray for every layer befor I start to curl^

^I take out thin strands and comb them befor I start to curl –
always curling with the wand up (I know many might curl with the wand upside down but I prefer this – you have to find this out by yourself – also I am not using the clamp on the curling wand, I just wrap it around and hold it by myself for about 10 seconds)^

^I curl from the back to the front and from the bottom to the top to make sure I don´t forget a hair strand^

^for every layer I already curled I am using haispray so they will hold their shape^

^usually I don´t take a brush to comb through, I just take my fingers which works just fine for me (only brushing through on the second day cause the curls aren´t that pretty anymore then and when I comb them they turn to be pretty waves^

^last step is to use some hairspray to let the curls set in and make them last longer^

^et voilà^

I have really been into curling my hair lately. There are always different kinds of hairstyles I love and others I don´t but that changes throughout the year or the years. And in fact I am coming back to each hairstyle from time to time.

So in today´s post I am sharing how I curl my hair and which products I use.
I have natural wavy hair which means if I let it air dry after washing it takes about three hours and I get half curls. The curls are half curly and half wavy and that looks pretty dumb. Also my hair looks really frizzy when it dries without any help (I had the prettiest curls as a little girl and also almost white hair).

Curling my hair works best if I start with fresh dry hair. So washing my hair before is a real must. As I have such dry scapl I am using the L´oréal anti-dandruff shampoo series. Since they don´t have a conditioner (which would be available in Germany) I am using an argan oil lotion afterwards and let it set in. I got this hair serum from Logona which makes my hair incredibly soft and silky. The main ingridient is argan oil so it also smells incredible good (and it is under 10€).

Before curling I am using the heat protection spray from GHD or the morrocan hair oil from Lee Stafford.

The curling wand I am using is the Remington keratin therapy pro curl. The barrel only has a diameter of 19 mm which make pretty small and curly curls. But if you comb through them (I only do that with my fingers) after they cooled they are really beautiful.

For the finishing touch I am using the Elnett De Luxe hairspray. This is my favorite hairspray since I was 16.

it might be safe if I say that everybody would like to own at least one high fashion desinger bag in his life. But most of those bags are pretty expensive and even if you are saving for one it might take some time until you have thousands of €/$ to finally buy one.
What if I tell you that I have found an online store which sells dupes of some of the most popular bags from blogs, Instagram and in stores right now. 

The shop is called Fashion Drug and the name is program. For myself especially the bag section. I ordered the „Never out of style“ bag for 80 €. Compared to the Céline phantom it is an almost indentical dupe. Doesn´t have the brand name on it but that is the point of a dupe. It is a similar bag and not a fake. 

After receiving the package – they ship pretty fast (I think from the Netherlands) – I unpacked (should have done a video but I was way to excited) and I couldn´t be happier. The bag is made of incredible good quality (real, soft leather, evenly stitching). I can´t say anything bad about it.

Of course I had to style it with a matching outfit. I got the skirt from amazon fashion and I love it. I always would prefer an a-line skirt over any other style. They have four different prints for this style but since I saw flowers and pink I was totally sold. Best part about it – it is only 13 €. The one downside is that the skirt has no lining but I am fine with that since the material isn´t too thin and black isn´t seethrough at all.

What do you think? I might get this one next but it is still on pre-order.

who doesn´t love a great white blouse which is making a real statement ?! I would allow myself to say we all want one. And I am really proud of myself I found one which is perfect for me. The length is great. The material is so soft and it isn´t too tight and the sleeves are breathtaking.
In fact I think a white blouse is such a staple piece for your wardrobe whether you are going for a classic piece or a little fancier one with a knotted front or an off-shoulder collar.

I had worn this blouse in combination with a navy pinstriped pant and a pair of white heels with a pointed toe.

I used this beautiful flower heandband for my hair (I had a really bad hair day this day and not enough time left to get anything done but it turned out really well with the headband) which matched the ivory color of blouse. 

Another real eyecatcher is the bag I got from Carpisa. I has kind of a triangle shape and the flap of the bag is embroidered with flowers. So pretty. It isn´t available anymore but I have listed some similar bags in the widget below.


The lipstick is Dark Rosewood from Maybelline. Still one of my favorite lipsticks for year round.


P.S. – have you seen the little photobomber ?! So cute.
