Fall and Winter season means knit season for me. There is nothing I like to wear more than a cute knit dress or a knitted sweater.

I basically life in these during the next 6 months. There are so many ways to style a knit dress. Casual with a plaid shirt wrapped around your waist and a pair of lug boots or dressed up with high heel booties and a leather jacket.

I am very sure you will find your niche of style for these pieces. My favorite shops to get knit dresses are H&M (of course), bonprix, Asos and Mango. If you are not a fan of dress but you would like an all over look in the same color, there are several sets to shop. A matching skirt or pair of pants and a knit sweater.

Don´t I love a Christmas themed mug. In fact all things Christmas are right up my alley cause Christmas decor is just the best. All the lights, the glitter, the christmassy figurines and the decorated trees…

I could go on for hours but today´s post is all about mugs – our favorite container for our hot beverages. 

Christmas Mugs

I am browsing Anthropologie, Sinsay, H&M, amazon and Depot every year to find the cutest mugs. This year I have noticed a lot of vintage inspired Christmas mugs in gorgeous shapes and colors.

Kids Halloween Party – Food, Decor, Goodie Bags and our Costumes…

We had our kids Halloween party yesterday and I would say it was a total success. All of the little ones had so much fun and loved all of our activities.

But let´s start at the very beginning- the decor:

Decoration

I of course went right to amazon and searched for Halloween baloon arch. The most beautiful color combos showed up and was deciding between neon green and purple as a fourth color but ultimately went with purple cause Emilia loves this color. 

The little character baloons are also amazon. Most of our decor like the tombstones and animals as well as the table cloth and fake flowers are really old and have been used for years (going to link similar things). 

Food 

We served lots of snack like foods (you can see all about it on Instagram) cause this way they could whenever they wanted.

Activities

Since they are all pretty young I didn´t plan activities that would take super long so instead I got some really cool things to do. I ordered a bunch of spooky tattoos from amazon and they have been a huge hit for every age. Helena got three and was holding super still while applying. The other thing I got had been a soft dart board with velcro balls to throw at. It had all kinds of Halloween characters on it and it was a huge hit as well cause the kids played to get candy. Coloring has also always been a huge hit so I went on the internet and got a bunch of cute templates with mummies, witches and ghosts. These three things have been enough between eating cake and playing so there was not a dull moment for even a moment.

Costumes 

Emilia has given us the themes of our cosutmes. We had to be bats and pumpkins, the very epitomes of Halloween. I really loved the theme and we dressed accordingly. The adult costumes are all amazon and the kids costumes have been H&M.

 

Goodie Bags

I love to put together goodie bags. I just love it. Many people dread this task but it is my favorite after putting up the decor. I have found so many cute Halloween themed things, mostly at Kik and Tedi (these two are probably closest to the dollar store than any other store).

Isn´t Fall the best season to shot out in natue? The turning leaves make the most beautiful backdrops. 

I peronally loved this outfit a lot. I have gotten the cute lace shirt some weeks ago and totally forgot about it cause it was so hot outside and not really the perfect weather to wear but now…

I mean how cute is it!!! The cut, the white lace trim in contrast to the black and the pearl buttons. 

The pants I am wearing here are actually an Instagram add find. I am such a sucker when it comes to these, but this time I am actually pretty happy I ordered one piece to try. They look like jeans but they are really comfortable and super stretchy. The brand is called Halara and has dozens of different styles and colors of pants available. You can check the site out here and the style of pant I am wearing (it is the Halara Magic high waisted crossover in a normal length, could have done petite as well in size L) above here. Make sure to check meassurements before you order.

Now let´s talk about shoes – square toe shoes and Mary Janes have been all the rage this year but let´s have a look at a combined version in shiny patent leather. I mean….. (insert heart eye emojis here)!!!!
