After our big girl was begging us for months we finally decided that the right time has come this month to stay a few days in the Western City Pullman City. It is about an hour away by car from our home so this was a really easy drive.
Where to stay
You have several options here so let me walk you through them.
Hotel
You can stay in one of the two hotels on the property. The Hacienda Hotel build in a Spanish Colonial style or in the Palace Hotel built like a real Western Hotel. The details are remarkable in both so it will definitely be a great stay in both. There are normal rooms and suits. We have stayed at the President suite at the Palace Hotel every time we visited alone.
Ranch House
We stayed at a Ranch House cause there are no hotel rooms that sleep 5 people. These are newly remodelled on the inside. They now have their own bathroom and bunk beds for 6 people. You have a fan on the ceiling that spreads cool air. Very important in the hot Summer months. There is no kitchenette or any chance to store food that needs to be cooled. You also can not bring any electrical device like mini fridges or a water heater.
Country House
These are the newer houses built right aside the Hacienda hotel. I
Tipis
Tipis are for max. 4 people and all you have is a heater for Winter and a bed. You can use the nearby bath house for showering and using the toilet. Very adventurous if you ask me.
Where to eat
We have tried several restaurants and can definitely recommend a lot of tasty things. The girls have tried every different kind of french fries they offer so let´s get started with this very delicious category.

and of course the ice cream parlor!!! We have at least bought 20 scoops of ice cream over the 4 days we have stayed here
