Hi dolls,

with the beginn of summer we are craving light and refreshing drinks the minute the sun goes up. I have to admit I am not a big fan of mixing juices or cocktails. It is just too sweet and I don´t like it at all but I am a wine lover and I have found a great option.

A dry rosé wine, Schweppes Russian Wild Berry, raspberries and mint leaves – this makes the perfect symphony for your taste buds. You can mix it however it tastes best for you so now meassuring. I mixed two-thirds wine with one third Schweppes.

Speaking of perfect – how beautiful are these glasses and the carafe. The golden palm leaf print is so aborable and it is the perfect set for summer. This adds so much chic to dining outdoors and they are definitely a highlight in your glass cabinet.

I also got this metal tray for carrying all the glasses but it would also make a nice piece of decoration.

What are your favorite refreshments for Summer ?

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you.

Casual Saturday #10….

….

Hi dolls and happy Saturday,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
our first week after vacation is over and it was let´s say okay. I was a little sad that our trip was over so fast but that is how it works right. Good times roll by fast.

We didn´t do too much this week since we came home Sunday late afternoon and imidiately visited my parents and afterwards we went to Florian´s parents for some indian dinner. So I was still unpacking on Monday and doing lots of laundry on Tuesday.

Food:
I made a flag cake in honor of the 4th of July and it tasted so good. It really is a easy recipe which needs a small amount of time and ingredients.

Since eating so much pizza, pasta and bread during our vacation we decided to eat low carb for a while so I made this no carb salad with smoked salmon, onions, olives and eggs.

I am planning on a mexican evening plus dinner so I was thinking about a desert and immidiately Churros came to my mind so I was searching for a recipe and I tried it out yesterday (guess this was our cheat day).

Shop:
I ordered some cooking equipment. A tin for pie from Kaiser and a dough cutter, a zoodle maker with a matching low carb cookbook and so beautiful kitchen towels – everything from amazon.

Also what do you think about those jeans from Vila. They have a flared hem and I think they are so much fun but I am not quite sure.

I also found this blouse from Vila on sale and I think it is a super versatile staple piece for your wardrobe and on sale for only 12 Euros. Who could resist ?

Another thing I have been dying to try are theses brushes from EmaxDesign. They are dupes to the artisbrushes – which cost a real fortune in my opinion – and I am really looking forward testing them.

I got a ton of make-up products from the Kiko Milano store in Bolzano so there is going to be a seperate post on the products soon and we also bought some stuff at the Carpisa store. They have the cutest bags with a little turtle logo so I could not resist at all.

TV:
The sixth series of Modern Family is out we are watching non stop. So glad something is continuing since we are still waiting on Game of Thrones.
That´s it. We are attending the line dance summer festival tonight and might for sure have some indian food tomorrow.
As always thanks for stopping by.
Take care. See you.

Casual Saturday #8….

….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affilate Links-not sponsored)
and happy Saturday. This was my view for about an hour and might be for the next couple hours cause I need to plan another week or maybe another two weeks on content and shooting as it is almost vacation time. Yippie.

But let´s get that weekly round up done.

Food:
In fact I didn´t try a lot of things cause we where pretty busy this week. I made burritos with lettuce instead of the bread and first I wasn´t really convinced but this tasted great.

There wasn´t anything else I had tried this week. Almost sad.

Shopping:
I have been searching for a nice summer dress. Not to casual and not to fancy. The company where Florian is working now has its annual company party next friday. So here are the dresses I ordered and I think I am gonna go with the third one.

1 / 2 / 3 they are all H&M

Another thing I found and love are these cute espandrilles from H&M. I got them from the teenies section as my feet are pretty small. Perfect additon to my summer wardrobe and they definitely have to go on vacation with me.

TV:
Since Florian has a soccer trip this weekend. I am the master over the remote so I have been watching Girlboss nonstop. I always wanted to watch but I now he wouldn´t be interested. I am currently at season one episode 7 or 8 I think and I like it pretty much. The only downside is (just my opinion) that the reactions or actions are sometimes exaggerated and that is something I just don´t like. But if you have the book you really should watch.

Chloe and I are heading to my grandma later to get some coffee and tomorrow we are getting some Indian takeaway food and that´s pretty much it. The weather is strange today. In fact it is super hot in the sun but the wind is really cold so your body can´t decide if it is sweating or freezing.

Wishing you all a nice weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you.

Hi guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affilate Links-not sponsored)
I have always admired people with a bar cart in their living room because this looks so fancy and cool. Earlier (where I lived) I did not have enough space where I could easily put a bar cart and where it would match perfectly but now that we are in the house there is plenty of space so everything I needed was a bar cart then.
Tricky – I had seen lots of really pretty ones but whether there wasn´t enough space to put on stuff (for me) or they were just so pricey and I don´t want to spend a few hundred Euros on that thing although I really want one. I found one I really liked (price point is great and the right amount of storage) but it is kind of a milky creamy white and I did not like it at all so I went to the home department store and got some spray color for metallic material (I remembered that one of the bloggers I constantly read their blogposts (Southern Curls and Pearls) also bought Ikea furniture where she did not like the color and then got some spray color to turn it into the color she wanted) in a matte golden tone and it turned out pretty great. You really can´t tell that it had another color before.
So now that we got this lets talk about what else you might need for your cart:
First of all – and maybe that is on what I start most of my home decor projects – is the decoration. I found this incredible cute flacon which looks like it is straight out of a victorian beauty room at Nanu Nana. They are super affordable (prices range from 2 – 6 Euros). I also got a bast basket for oranges and lemons.
And also there have to be some coffee table books. I love them and I like to put them in every corner where I have some decoration.
I got this, this and this.
I also got a print for the cart. I got it from Etsy as a printable download. It is a quote from the Great Gatsby movie so this is really matching the theme. Frame is from Ikea. I could go on like this but then it would be too long. All the items are linked below the picutres.

A wine or ice cooler would also be great but then you (or I) might need a bigger cart!

I just love how it turned out. I kept the color theme pretty simple with the gold, black and white.

I don´t have such a variety on liquors cause we usually drink wine or champagne with our food. In fact we don´t drink the hard things at all. Maybe a little shot for a summer bowl or a sangria but that´s it.

What are your bar cart necessities ?
