Transitioning into fall – tie sleeves and velvet…

….

Hi guys,
two weeks ago we had a real peek into fall weather. It had rained the night before and it was really chilly the next day, the day we shoot the pictures. I was so happy that it had finally cooled down so I could wear my felt hats, my thin sweaters, pumps and denim. I don´t know about you but I can not wear a pair jeans when it is hot outside and I am constantly sweating. They won´t get higher than to my knees. Little embarassing but I just can´t help it.

I wanted to be outside the whole day to soak up the fresh and crisp air but unfortunately it started raining in the afternoon so we cuddled up on the sofa, lit a pumpkin candle and enjoyed homemade roasted sweet potatoes.

All the pieces in this look (except the hat and the shoes) sat on the shelf and waited to be worn. I am still searching for a perfect pair of black jeans. Haven´t found it yet allthough I have three pairs (a kick flare pant – the one I am wearing here, a distressed one and a patchwork one) but none of them is a hundred percent good. They are about 85 which is good for me cause somehow I have a strange relationship to black jeans. Somedays I love them and someday I hate them, there is no inbetween. Anyways this pair was perfect for a cold day. The denim material is thick and totally tucks you in.

Velvet is one of my most worn material in fall so I really couldn´t say no to this beautiful bag. Have you seen all the different colors. How great is this going to be to pair with all the fun fall colors. Also the shopper holds a lot. It is really roomy and on SALE you guys.

By so many different colors in the bag finding a matching sweater was really easy. This little tie-sleeve number is so adorable I have worn it three days in a row already. So happy this trend is going last another season as I just can´t get enough of it.

Are you looking forward to fall as much as I do ? What do you love most about it?

We are currently on our way to the airport as we are going on our honeymoon to Spain today. I am so happy and so excited. Be sure to follow me around on Instagram (madame_schischi)

Hello friends,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung-Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links, Markennennung – not sponsored)
I am so busy today with packing away our wedding clothes and our decoration (leaves a sad feeling to me) and cleaning up the house and packing for our honeymoon we are going on tomorrow – yeah!!!! We are heading to Spain onto a gorgeous little island called Mallorca. It only is about 2 hours of flight away so this is really great. The sea and sand and sun in reach. I do have planned posts for during our honeymoon. Don´t know if I have time to pop in for a quick update post but I might but be sure to follow on Instagram (madame_schischi).
The look above includes my typical fall color combination. I really love dark blue. It reacts much nicer to my skin tone than black and I think it looks gorgeous styled with a tan hue. Over the last view years – since the color started to get this popular – I built quite the selection of pieces in this color range and I love to combine them and wear them. The color really pops with red and looks super exquisite with black and ultra modern with white.

The dress is super super comforable and under 20 Euro which is so great. I sized up one size for more lenght cause it is quite short (I am 1,64 m // 5´5). The material is super stretchy but doesn´t loose its shape. This dress definitely is a staple piece for fall. Imagine how cute it would be with a plaid coat and boots.

I better get going now or I won´t have anything to wear in my suit case.

How to style camouflage in a feminine way….

camouflage skirt New Look similar here and here / blouse H&M similar here and here / block heeled sandals New Look sold out similar here and here / belt old similar here / hand bag Armani Jeans old similar here and here / lips Smashbox Always On color Big Spender

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung-Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links/Markennennung-not sponsored)
Sorry for posting so late today but we had some last minute wedding stuff to do.

So since camouflage print came back very strong I am sharing to combine and wear it in a feminine way. No one wants to look like Demi Moore in GI Jane these days so here we go.

A white blouse immediately elevates every look so this would be a great piece to combine to a camouflage skirt or pant. Wearing a pair of heels also helps. I love this pair of nude sandals I got from New Look. This color is super versatile and also great for transitioning into fall.

My lipcolor is my latest addition to my own beauty department. I was on the hunt for a lipstain in a special color and after trying several brands I finally found one I love.
It is the Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in color Big Spender. The perfect pink for fall.

Thanks for stopping by guys. I really appreciate it. I am not going to post the rest of the week since we are getting married tomorrow.

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
I shot this last minute look on the weekend and usually it wasn´t planed for this ocassion but I thought this fits the theme so well. The colors of the outfit and especially of the skirt match perfect with the holiday colors of Thanksgiving and also the soft velvet material in this rich burned orange shade.
As you might have noticed I have gone totally crazy with the velvet pieces this year so be sure to check over for following posts. Christmas is coming you all and I have planed all my holiday looks in advance.
The pussy bow pullover is from H&M and I have it in three colors cause the fit and the style is just perfect. Unfortunately it is from last year but I have linked some similar ones in the widget below.

I paired it with this really fun bag from LYDC London. I haven´t even known this brand existed until I have seen it on Zalando. They have such a variety of fun and colorful handbags which is right up my alley. And can you believe I got this one on sale for 30€?

What are your favorite colors for fall holidays / festivities ?
