Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
if you are following me for a longer time now, you might have recognized that I am drawn to red hues. Whether it is a bold and bright red shade or a deep burgundy hue I just love it. A bright red lipstick is the color I wear the most and I own the most (small lipstick problem – whoopsie). And this fall not only burgundy is huge also a christmassy red is totally en vogue and I couldn´t be happier.
But how to wear the trend. You can go all in by wearing a red dress or a red coat or red pants or you start a little more restrained and add a red bag or a red belt or just a red lip and for the brave ones under us you can wear red head to toe like Julia from Gal meets Glam (view the look here).

You might want to add some red pieces to your wardrobe cause red is going to stay for at least a half year cause after fall, winter is coming and who doesn´t love red for Christmas??!!

I opted for a red coat for this look. The creme pullover and the navy pencil skirt needed some spice so I added a plaid wool scarf with a blue, green and red pattern and this beautiful red coat. Unfortunately this is only suitable for fall cause it isn´t really warm and it doesn´t close so well. Only has hooks but I am never closing my jackets so I am fine with that.

I hope you had a nice weekend. Mine happended pretty much indoors cause it was raining cats and dogs and was just awful so I started on decorating for Christmas and played some Christmas music in the backgroun which really lifted my mood.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

How I style my Hunter boots for rainy fall days….

denim H&M old similar here and here / blazer H&M old similar here and here / silk scarf H&M old similar here, here and here / Hunter boots / button-down H&M

….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
since when did rain boots become totally popular and accepted to wear in public?
Think back about 15 years. The only people who have worn them then where street worker or hunter or farmer for work every day. But then the Hunter boot appeared.  They interpreted the rain boot new. Suddenly it became a lifestyle to wear rain boots and in my opinion pretty chic. There are uncountable fashion blogger out there who also helped to integrate this and they have way more pairs than one.

I love my Hunters and I don´t have a problem at all weairng them on vacation when the weather isn´t that nice or in the winter. For today´s look I kept it dressy casual. I decided to wair a pair of dark denim paired with a pink and white striped button-down, a beige jersey blazer with golden buttons and a silk neckerchief.

I loved that look a lot cause I looked totally put together but still casual enough for taking a walk with Chloé or running a full day of errands.

I might go for the red pair of Hunter´s as well. They would make the perfect addition to Christmas inspired outifits and also it is my favorite color.

What do you think of rain boots? Do you also own a “chic” pair. I also love the ones Tommy Hilfiger designs.

Have a nice Friday and thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Hi guys,
I have the feeling it is getting a little colder from day to day so we are heading right into winter and into the holidays. I am so so looking forward to Christmas. I don´t even know why I am so keen on that but it is just a happy and festive and contemplative time. And of course I love all the decorating. We ordered our Christmas tree on Monday so it is gonna be delivered this week – hopefully. I am also planning on a holiday party this year at the beginnig of December to get our friends in a festive mood.
But despite all the Christmas thoughts and lists I am having this outfit is totaly fall. I had worn it a few weeks ago and almost forgot it. Oops.
The leggins have this faux leather material in the front and a soft and warm fabric in the back of the pants. I like that a lot (also owned a similar pair before this one) cause it adds an interesting touch to the pants.  For color combinations of brown and black I love pairing a leopard print scarf cause I think that fits so well. I got this one a few years ago but since leopard print is still so popular you won´t have a problem finding one these days.
The coat I am wearing in this post is a staple for me. It is made of a tweed material and it is so veratile cause you can even wear it with dresses and skirt and it fits. I also got it in a bold red hue which is going to be on the blog very soon.
Adding a hat to this fall outfit totally completes the look . Wearing hats for fall and winter is something I am looking forward to all summer long. Goodbye bad hair days. Just add a hat and you are good to go.
I am so happy it is Thursday already  cause I am going to shoot my first holiday looks tomorrow and I couldn´t be happier at all. Also there is going to be a lot of line dancing on the weekend.
Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Travel recap – Halloween at the Europapark Rust….

….

Hi guys,

this was something I wanted so badly for such a long time. Being at the Europapark on Halloween. I wanted to see the spooky decoration and the creepy shows as well as the monster parades and everything else which is happening during that time (did not know before that it would be so crowded you almost couldn´t ride a thing).

Our hotel:
We stayed at the Bell Rock Hotel – one of the to the park connected hotels. We had kind of a New England / lighthouse inspired theme all over the hotel. It is absoluetly beautiful.  Walkig the aisle to your room you can hear pirates singing and the ship creak. The details everywhere are insane. You even feel like you are in another country.
The Bell Rock is a 4 star superior hotel. We had a normal double room and that was enough cause we were outside at the park the whole day. Just went back for showering and sleeping.

Eat and drink:
We took advantage of the great hotel restaurants twice. For dinner we went to the Harborside Restaurant – a buffet restaurant with meals from all over the world. And we also ate once at the St. Louis bar of our hotel. The Ceasar Salad and the Pulled Pork Burger are excellent.

Another tip is the pizza restaurant at the Collosseo Hotel (another hotel in the whole complex you can walk to within 5 minutes) and also the rooftop bar on the fifth floor.

There are many restaurants and cafés in the park where you can eat but the food isn´t as good as at the hotels (and quite expensive) and you probably have to wait a while until you get something.

The spa:
We were at the indoor pool on one day cause it was pouring rain and we couldn´t get out.The pool is created like you are standing in a ship. You have the portholes and the railing from the inside and the figurehead and the sail including the half ship on the outside pool.

 The park:
I had been to the park a few years ago already but I had forgotten a lot. The park itself is divided into different countries and each of it has a special ride for example with the landmarks itself or important things the country produces. Also the food is always authentic. For the Halloween theme the park is decorated with about 300k pumpkins. They are everywhere and this is so cool. Also there where some rides converted for the Halloween attractions but they where way to scary so we didn´t do that.
