isn´t it great that sometimes even basic pieces can be comfortable and even fashionable? It definitely is.

Mules had their comeback last summer but I think they are going to have their high this Spring/Summer. From introducing a new trend until people are fond of it and are going to wear it time flies by but if you have really cool pieces they last more than one season.

I got this pair of silver mules from Tom Tailor and not only are they super cool and en vogue they totally remind me of a high class designer with the horsebit-detail across the front and the shape. 
I paired it with a totally casual and comfortable but not boring look. Got this pair of cropped raw hem jeans in the mail a few weeks ago and it is finally warm enough to wear them.

The cardigan is from the Zara special price section and available in five more colors. Sometimes a basic staple piece can also make an outfit look special.
The lace top I am wearing in this post is from an Italian market at Lago di Garda. A white shirt combined to an all blue look leaves such a fresh touch.

and happy Monday. It is a gloomy day today so I wanted to share a really pretty and colorful piece with you I got from Quiz Clothing the other week.

The color mixture of red, pink and gold totally gets me in a Summer and vacation mood. The pink and red are as pretty as the Art Deco district in Miami and the golden painted ornate print bring some serious Bollywood vibes over here. Wearing the pink and red satin scarf print shirt dress
can only make you happy.


In fact it is a dress but I wanted to add some fresh white to the look since there was so much color going on and also I don´t have tanned legs at all. The material of the dress is very light and color so this really makes the perfect Summer blouse/dress not only cause of the colors (dress is also available in black/white combo – looks super chic).

 To make it even more summery I added my straw bag from Mango and a pair of wedges. A straw bag always makes me feel like I am on vacation in the middle of Summer. The sandals I am wearing have the perfect height for walking around all day and also for running errands. The color is really versatile and I think this could be the next bloggers favorite summer shoe.

I am sharing another summer inpired look on the blog today. I am not a cargo girl at all. This is normally a facric I stay away cause it is too safari looking for me but this skirt got me hooked. The buttons  all over the front are just beautiful and I love the style. Have several denim skirts in this style already. 

The olive green is such a nice color and I think it really goes with a lot and I mean a lot of colors. It works with blush and pink and red. Looks clean and chic with nude and white. I paired it with yellow and there is still so much more.

The lenght is awesome so what do I have to say more. I am obsessed with my cargo skirt. 

The bright yellow crocheted cardigan is old but I added some similar in the widgets below. But let´s talk about the bamboo bags. They are all over the place this summer. I got my rectangular shaped one from Asos. It is currently sold out but it comes back from time to time so be sure to check back every once in a while. I have found a similar rectangle shaped one and there is also the Kult Gaya brand.

I have worn this dress about three weeks ago at our wedding venue test dinner and I have gotten tons of compliments so I figured I would share it with you although summers not quite here. 


The dress is from Vero Moda and so dreamy. I really love maxi dresses cause they are so easy to wear and this is one is no exception. It has a such pretty neckline and is thighter around the waist which creates such a flattering silhouette. 

I have paired it with a white crocheted cardigan and wrapped a belt around it to set the focus on my waist. 

The dress really had the perfect lenght for me although I am not the tallest. I combined a pair of glittery black block heeled sandals to it to match the color theme but the perfect piece to the look was the bag. The three colors of the bag where the total three colors of the whole look.
