New Years Eve table decoration….

Hi dolls,

first of all how is it possible Christmas is already over. I had been wating so long for spending these days at home with our families and now it is over and we are getting a fresh start for 2017. The only day in the year where we can go sparkly, shining and glamorous and won´t be overdressed in any way and where drinking a little too much champagne than usual is appropriate had been New Years Eve.

We spent our free days between Christmas and New Years Eve at home just cuddling on the sofa, playing with Chloe and making grocery lists for the NYE menu. I hosted the NYE dinner for our friends. I cooked for 12 people so this was a real challenge. And moreover between cooking and covering the table there are some new years solutions which would like to be picked for 2017. Do you already have some ? And what happened to yours last year ?

Here is a closer look on what I decided for my table space. I decided to go with gold, silver and black cause I found a lot of NYE items in this color combination from different stores.

How to do an undone bun…

Hi dolls,

from all of the hairstyles I like a bun the most. You may have noticed me wearing one almost all the time in my pics. 🙂 I think this kind of hair styles works so well for every kind of ocassion. You can wear it on a normal day for running errands or for work or you can wear it in the evenings with a bigger doughnut underneath for more volume and some hair accessories. So you can go from casual to glamorous within 10 minutes. Which can be essential for Parties or dinners. I know when I am hosting a party I am preparing everything until the last minutes and there is almost never time left for me to get ready so this is always a welcome solution for me.

Today I am showing you step by step how to do an undone bun. Yes undone is the new chic. It is pure understatement to look like you don´t care. Also found this in the last Instyle Germany magazine.

Christmas Nail Styles with essence….

Hi guys

Christmas time is special in every way. You can almost get every item you normally use in a christmassy style or version. So it is no surprise that I am showing you my favortie Christmas nail style today. Of course with a bright Christmas red and some bright and white snowflakes.

I had been using essence products since they first came out here. I was a teenager back then and the products were affordable for me. But when I am thinking back they improved their products a lot and they have such a wide range on different items now. Probably you can get any cosmetic item you want or need from them. I still love their products, especially the trend editions. All of them are made with so much love. Just gorgeous.

How to make a tasty Christmas punch….

Hi guys

as you might have found out by reading my blog constantly (and for all the new readers – welcome) I really do love Christmas. Despite that it can be very stressful with all the decoratin, baking, Christmas parties and hunting for presents it is the most wonderful time of the year. So it is clear to me to speand as much time as possible with chrismassy stuff. For me I like the Christmas markets. They are so festive with the trees and the lighting and the decoration. And as great is is to attend them it is also nice staying at home in a cozy and warm blanket and spoil myself with some Christmas punch.

Today I am showing you how easy and quick it is to make you own punch at home. You just need a few ingridients.

I am using an elderberry punch from the drug store
some cinnamon sticks
carnations and anis as spices
a sprinkle of rum (you don´t have to – is taste also great without)
slices of an apple and and orange
