Hi you guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

stores slowly start to open up again over here in Germany and I am really happy about that. Not that we can go somewhere anytime soon cause I think it will be super crowded now cause everything has been closed for so long and people are in despereate need to get somewhere.

Anyways I think that is quite the win although we have to wear mask whenever we go anywhere inside I am really glad about getting back a piece of daily life.

Lavender seems to be everywhere this season. It is such a cute pastel color for Spring and Summer. The color itself pairs very well with a bunch of neutrals but also other pastels or colorful hues.

For this look I wanted to add as many straw accessories as possible so it would look a lot like Spring and Summer. A straw hat, a straw bag and espadrilles are my go-to for summer look. I just love how airy it immediately makes an outfit look.

A denim jacket adds instant coolness to the outfit but if you want to dress it up I would go for a blazer jacket.

Are you going to hop on the lavender trend?

FYI: I prepared this blog post before our baby girl arrived so there would still be fresh content on the blog while I am taking a break from blogging. That’s why you’ll still see me pregnant or referencing my pregnancy in some upcoming blog posts!

This post made me a little sad as I wrote it cause it is the last pregnancy outfit I have shot for the blog. I know I am going to have a sweet little baby in my arms after but I am sure I will miss this little kicks in side my belly a lot.

Casual looks aren´t my strength as I always like to dress up (a lot in fact) but I think I did pretty well with this one. The colors are super versatile and great to wear together or each one on its own.

I have loved a cognac brown to black or/and white for years now. Maybe because that´s the colors of leopard print my favorite of all.

The look works perfectly if pregnant or not and is super comfortable. A pair of leggings, a long white shirt and a cute cognac brown jacket.

If you like to go all in then pair it with leopard print shoes. Mine are wedges I got from Asos a few weeks ago and they are going to be perfect to wear all Spring and Summer long.

I am sharing my gestational diabetes story tomorrow if you are interested.

Aren´t stripes a total classic? I mean they don´t really count as a print anymore. They gained total neutral status while looking fresh and french for the last decades. Blue and white stripes especially spread the maritime flair and should not be missed in Spring and Summer.

I have been loving stripes for a very long time although we had a love/hate relationship at the very beginning as I was searching for the perfect stripe in terms of thickness and collected a ton of striped shirts but to be honest I really don´t mind having quite the selection.

For this look I kept it pretty simple. The denim jacket freshens up the striped dress and the crisp white pair of Converse sneakers add such a casual vibe. To make the look pop I went with a green handbag that complements the green collar of the dress.

It is a maternity dress I got from Asos but to be honest this look can be copied with every striped dress no matter the color combo.

Do you like stripes as much as I do or are you more on the plain color side?

Isn´t it great to finally wear lighter colors and all the pastels we got in our closet. When the sun is out my mood lifts immediately although I don´t like the summer heat but the temperatures at the moment are awesome and we couldn´s ask for more. With all the staying at home at least the weather is nice and we can sit outside.

I personally love to wear pastels for Spring. The shades point out the soft- and airyness of a new season we definitely need.

A minty green hue is not for everyone but pastel colors in general. Not every pastel hue is for every skin tone. It really is about trying out what you like with your hair and skintone but if you have found one you love stick with it as it will look beautiful.

Paired with white and a light denim shade or even all white, pastels make the perfect Spring companion.

Do you like pastels or do you prefer the brighter shades?
