From the moment I knew I was pregnant I was so so excited to order the stroller of my dreams. I have first seen the Bugaboo brand years before I even had in mind to get kids and loved it right away. The cool styles and vibrant colors were so different to other strollers than I have seen and I definitely wanted to have one when the time has come.

And my time came. I was so excited about it and had to contain myself not to order right away. Nevertheless I made to week 20 before I ordered our stroller. I went with the Bugaboo Donkey Duo and here is why.

The Bugaboo Donkey Duo Review

That I wanted a Bugaboo was crystal clear to me but what model would it be. After I saw the Bugaboo Donkey on Rachel Parcell´s blog I was sold. I have never seen a stroller with a bag on the side before and oh my is it practical. Not only for transporting all of the baby´s stuff but also for small grocery runs or even if you just want to put your handbag in there.

It folds up in under one minute which is super convenient when you are in a rush but the one upside it takes up a lot of trunk space so if you are having a small car it won´t fit in your trunk. I am still wondering how our first vacation will be with limited luggage space plus the frame itself is pretty heavy. It is manageable to put it into the trunk by myself but it needs some muscle strength.

We got the all gray version and I purchased the yellow cover for the side bag and a yellow sunroof. To be honest I wanted the off-white version but it is no longer continued and also the bright yellow is such a beautiful and happy color for both genders.

The wheels are huge which makes them run very smooth and silent. You can also buy silver rims for your stroller if you like it extra fancy.

One of the additional pieces that I definitely needed was the cup holder – I mean as a new mom I need my coffee and doesn´t it look great to have it with you why taking a stroll.

You can also get an adapter for your car seat so you don´t have to take the bassinet with you everywhere.

The Bugaboo Donkey Duo includes the bassinet as well as the seat for kids from 9 kg and up. You can also make it wider and have both of the seats side by side. So in conclusion, the stroller is expensive but if you are planning on having a two kids close in age this will really pay off.

Aren´t we looking constantly for things to make our lives easier? I definitely do and Amazon really is a great source for pieces to get nowhere else. In times of the Coronavirus and staying at home a lot I have spend a great amount of time on there and found some awesome pieces.

Amazon Top 5 Household Gadgets

Here are my top 5 household gadgets I love to use and don´t want to miss.

Attachable Pasta Strainer // This is probably the most used gadget of all. It is so so convenient if you are cooking a ton of pasta cause you can easily attach it to your pot and drain all the water. Then you have hot pasta ready to serve.

Coffee Mug Warmer // Came across another bloggers post through this genious piece. Don´t we all know the perks of taking calls, opening doors or taking care of our babies all while our hot delicious cup of coffee is getting lukewarm?!

Multiple Hanger for Skirts // It is supposed to hang 4 pairs of skirts but you can easily double or triple it as the clips are strong enough so this means you can easily store up to 12 skirts on one hanger. If that isn´t a space saver for your closet I don´t know what is.

Fabric Shaver // The perfect tool to quickly remove fabric pills from your beloved clothes. Works quick and easy and leaves your clothing looking brandnew.

Floor Mop // I had a Swiffer up to date and ended up disliking it cause it didn´t really clean my floors. Just was a quick solution for inbetween cleanings. This item is really great. It comes with two microfibre cloths and an attachment for window cleaning. You can put your cleaning solution and water into the little container on the front and spray before you mop. It is super easy and not messy at all in comparison with a bucket full of water.

My top 5 items. Do you have specific pieces off of Amazon you can´t life without? I woul d love to hear about them.

9 Netflix shows to watch during quarantine and after….

….

Hi you guys,

(post contains links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Links-not sponsored)

I am checking back for another Netflix show review. You can read part I here and part II here. In summary it is a huge amount of shows I have already watched or still watching. I don´t know if I have watched this many shows when I was younger or when Netflix hadn´t been available. But let´s be honst having a baby and having to stay quarantined before has triggered the show addict in me. To be honest I find it a little hard to choose what to watch because there are so many different shows available.

Netflix Shows Part III

The House of Flowers // I recently have started to watch season 2 (there are 3 seasons available to date) and learned to like it again. The end of season 1 was super strange and I honestly wasn´t sure if

The Ranch // A funny show with lots of jokes and country charm. I totally liked it but it gets crude at times and that´s not everybody´s cup of tea.

The Tiger King // Super bizarr but you can´t look away once you started. Real life murder mystery with a hint of madness and a lot of wild animals.

The Bonfire of Destiny // If you like Titanic or Pride and Prejustce this show might be for you. Beautiful gowns amongst the backdrop of Paris. In the focus three different woman facing the difficulties of their lives after a huge fire that changed how things were forever.

Vampire Diaries // A bunch of teenagers, wolves and witches trying to protect their town and people against supernatural forces plus a lovestory in the middle of all.

Outer Banks // Just finished this one yesterday and I have to say it was a good story but again a bunch of teenager trying to find a sunken ship plus its gold. Followed by evil comrades-in-arms who are also interested in the gold worth millions.

Narcos // The story of Mexico´s most famous drug lord of all times. A total must see.

Bad Blood // You are into cartel stuff then you will probably like this show a lot. Two seasons long and full of really cool surprises about all things mafia on Canadian soil.

Jessica Jones // Marvel superhero Jessica Jones is trying to find out how she has survived a car accident and why she had super powers right after her stay at the hospital all while fighting crime and running a detective agency.

All in all we have alreasy watched a ton of shows on Netflix during the pandemic outbreak and there are so many more interesting ones like the story of Jeffrey Epstein and The Americans plus I love that the Housewives of Beverly Hills, New York and Atlanta are now available.

Happy Tuesday friends,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

hopefully you had a good start into the new week. It is day 11 in home quarantine over here and we are still in a good mood. There are lots of things you can do to distract yourself for most of the day, at least for us. Maybe it is easy to say for me cause we don´t have any kids in the house yet (waiting on baby girl to make here appearance but she for sure is taking her sweet time) but it is still a ton of time to pass without having the opportunity to go anywhere than on a walk.

I wanted to share some activities which we included in our daily schedule so time will pass a little quicker or at all.

What to do at home…

1 // Read – Now is finally the time to dust of all the books in your shelves and finally start reading them or get some off from amazon. I always have a bunch on my wishlist I plan on purchasing from other reviews.

2 // Watch Netflix – The time probably won´t come again were it is acceptable to binge watch for days. There are tons of great shows on Netflix. I have done two round-ups you can read for inspo here and here.

3 // Make a puzzle – We got a 1000 piece puzzle and believe me this task is going to occupy a lot of your time and it is super calming. It has been years since I have done a puzzle and I have to admit I love it.

4 // Play board games – A great way to pass time and interact with your partner but I would only recommend if you aren´t highly competitive cause you at least have to stay inside for another two weeks.

5 // Organize your house – Not everyone´s favorite but definitley one over here. Amazon still ships so you can get all the container or inserts you would need to organize certain rooms/categories in your home like the pantry, your jewelry or beauty corner.

6 // Do online workout classes – Many gyms or/and even dance studios offer online workout classes or dancing lessons. A fun alternative to sporting outdoors and also spend productive time with your significant other.

7 // Take daily walks – If you are still allowed to do so this is a task which should be done everyday. Getting in fresh air, movements and sunshine is super healthy for your body and mind which is really important at the moment.

8 // Try out new recipes- Definitely another reason for a daily number 7 cause with all that time on hand I have never tried out more different recipes than these days. I already made these delicious flourless peanut butter cookies from The Lemon Blonde and a Dutch Baby (an oven baked pancake) twice.

9 // Do your taxes – If you should get super bored despite all of the activities you can still do your taxes for last year.

I hope you are all staying healthy and as much home as possible so far. It is a difficult and strange time but it will also pass like so many others did before and we hopefully come out smarter and more resilient than before.
