Hi guys,
since strawberry season is still going strong (hopefully we will be blesses with this delicities as long as possible) I am sharing my jam recipe over here. This really is the simplest recipe I have ever made.
The only thing you need is jam sugar and strawberries and maybe a squeeze of lemon if your strawberries are pretty sweet.
Ingredients:
– 1,5 kilo strawberries
– 1 package of 3:1 jam sugar (should be 500 gr.)
– 1 lemon
Instructions:
– wash the strawberries and cut of the stems.
– puree the strawberries (depends on how smooth you want the puree to be)
– put the whole package of sugar and the strawberry puree into a pot and heat it up
– put the timer on 4 minutes by the time it starts to cook and let it cook for the whole time
– be sure to stir from time to time and to take a non-sticking pot
– be sure to wash the jars with hot water before filling in the simmering mass so the jars won´t explode
– fill your jam mixture into the jars, close them and turn them upside down until the mixutre is set
(you can also read the instructions on the package)
I put a ribbon around it and a tag onto it and gifted a few to family members but you can also eat them all by yourself.
Have you already tried my strawberry mini cakes? They are super simple and declicious. Get the recipe here.
Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

and happy Wednesday from Italy. We where exploring the fashion capitol Milan yesterday so after a full day of stylishly exploring and walking around we needed to relax at the pool today.
So I thought why not share my quick and easy poolside make-up favorites.
Since I never dive (I would make an exception to swim with manatees or a whale shark) I always put on make-up while at the pool. It is less and more neutral than usual but I still don´t want to be naked.
As base I am using the Maybelline dream cushion make-up in the color sand. It is a darker shade so it is great if you already have a little tan.
To cover it up and keep it matt I am applying the L´Oréal Perfect Match translucent powder (also got the matching brush cause who doesn´t love a gorgeous mint shade).
Another summer favorite of mine is the Hoola Bronzer from Benefit. I always have one at home. It is just such a staple which gives your look some depth but is isn´t over the top. And you can apply as much as you want.
To finish my look I am using a waterproof mascara from Manhattan. The no end mascara has been a long time favorite of mine. Also have the normal formula at home. I am sticking to the mascara I love cause for me it really is a pain in the butt to find a good one.
Also who doesn´t love some color. I definitely do. I am very happy that L´Oréal came up with a sheer lip color line – the color riche shine lipstick. I got the color glazed pink and I really love it. Gives your lips a hint of color but isn´t overly pigmented. Just the right amount for the pool.
Also a good idea is too take some blotting papers with you to the pool. This way your make-up stays on and you don´t shine also you don´t have to reapply every couple hours.
And last but not least for a quick refresher I got the Biotherm L´Eau. A scented body mist. This smells so so good. My SIL used it one day we spent together and I immidiately loved it and bought it a few days later (totally forgot to picture it, sorry guys).
After talking this much about the pool we are heading to it right now. Thankfully it is right around the corner.

Hi guys,
since the weather is a pretty mixture – it is cold and foggy in the mornings but it is warm and sunny in the afternoon – I am wearing a caridigan or a light jacket on the daily base. And also I am looking forward to fall so much I am still wearing sandals on the last days of warm weather.
I do like a black/grey and red/orange combo a lot. It is really nice contrast and I like wearing bold colors during fall and winter time to freshen up an outfit.
I got this wrap skirt last year (also have it in black) in this vibrant orange and I love it. It is high-waisted and since it is a wrap skirt it is so flattering for every body type. I paired it with a grey and black top with knotted shoulder straps and this beautiful flower pattern. I tucked it into the skirt to give the outfit more focus on the waist. I added a matching cardigan to the outfit since it was a little chilly in the morning and a pair of black peeptoe wedges. The highlight was the little handbag I love so much. It has such a ladylike shape. Could have been worn straight to “Breakfast at Tiffany´s”.
Hope you are all having a nice day. I am back at work today. Still have an aching toe and this might last a while.
I am looking forward to Friday already cause there is really nothing to do on the weekend. I just want to shoot some fall outfits I am loving recently for the blog and stay at home and do nothing.
Thanks for stopping by.
Take care. See you.

Hi guys,
today I am sharing all the information of our quick and easy getaway. After not having a real summer vacation as we where on our trip in June already we decided to get away for two days somewhere nearby. So we picked Munich.
Munich is a huge city and so multiculturel. We started at the Olympic park which is located at the outer edge of the city and it is really nice. It is a incredible big park with a lake in the middle where you can do stand-up paddling, wakeboarding or rent a pedal boat. Around the lake are several buildings like a stadium for concerts and soccer games, a ice-rink and the Olympic tower. We decided to go up the tower to get a 360 degrees view of the city. And boy the view was amazing. As it was a bright and beautiful day we had such a perfect view in every direction. There is also a restaurant located on the tower so you can dine with forsesight :). The Olympic parc was built for the 1972 olympic summer games. Since then it is a place for recreation and tourists from other countries.
After walking through the park – there also a summer festival as we went with different food trucks and a small market with lots of stuff to buy – we went to the English Garden to have a look at the Chinese Tower.
The Chinese Tower is a 25 metres high tower completely made of wood. The tower was built in 1790 as a viewing plattform. It has been destroyed and rebuilt after the second world war and now isn´t open to public anymore.
From all the strolling around in the parks we got a little hungry and went into the city centre to get some coffee and a snack. Of course our coffee stop was Starbucks (just can´t help it, we don´t have one in Regensburg so I am stopping at each and everyone I can find). I had a coffee americano and the best cinamon roll I have ever had. And I got this coffe to-go mug I love so much. With lipsticks marks and hugs and kisses.
After our refreshment we took a look at all the sights in the city. We stopped at the town hall on the Marienplatz for the famous bell ringing happening every full hour.
Then we went up to the Stachus a famous place at the end of the pedestrian zone with fountains and restaurants and places to sit and watch people.
For dinner I had planed to go to the traditional Hofbräuhaus in Munich be we tended to go across the street into the Hard Rock Café Munich and that was a great decision. We had pulled pork burger and mac and cheese.
After dinner we finally went to the hotel. We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Munich City West for the night. This is a design hotel chain and you can find one in at least every city of Europe.
The room was pretty big and we had a small terrace which belonged to our room. There was also a small kitchen aisle hidden befind a wood wall. I can´t say anything about the breakfast cause we just grabbed a quick coffee and then checked out and went to the Chiemsee.
The Chiemsee is a lake nearby Munich (about an hour away). It is a pretty huge lake with a big castle in the middle.
We rented an electric boat and drove arround on the lake for about and hour. We popped some champagne and ate some ice cream chocolate. It was really pretty and the weather was just fine for this occasion.
Before finally heading home to Chloe we had pizza and a diet coke at a lake restaurant.
This really was a nice short trip and a great opportunity to get away for some time.
I think we might do this some more times throughout the year.
