Hi guys,

this post was a long ovedue one but now I finally have time to write a blog post about it. We are ENGAGED. I am so so so happy.

To say I didn´t see it coming wouldn´t be true cause we talked about it a lot but I was not quite sure about the where and when and of course I had no idea how the ring would look like. He knew that I prefer a classic shape but rest was up to him.

On Christmas Eve Florian finally pulled the trigger. We had champagne and he gave the ring before the other presents to me (wasn´t quite interested in them afterwards but now I love them), he also said a few words but I want to keep them private.

So now I am in full wedding planing mode. We already have set a date for the middle of September this year. I also have found a location we both like this week.

I am planing on sharing the progress for the wedding on the blog and I couldn´t be more excited. I hope you all also looking forward to read my wedding planing post since this is going to be an exciting time.

These days there is a such a variety on different styles, colors and materials that it can be a little overwhelming if you don´t know at all what you would like to wear here is a little help. First of all you need to decide if you would like a short or a long bridesmaid dress.

I found these gorgeous dresses at an online shop called Millybridal UK . The shop is specialized on wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and prom dresses. One of the best things is if you are in between sizes you can get a customed dress for only 15 pounds extra.

But let´s have a look at my favorite picks starting with long bridesmaid dreses

These three are totally different in color and shape but they are absolutely gorgeous. I love pastells for a wedding cause it matches best with the wedding dress and the contrast isn´t to hard (and I love the kind of fairy background) but I have seen a few wedding photos with dark bridesmaid dresses lately and I have to admit I really start liking them too.

And here are my suggestions for you for short bridesmaid dresses. I prefer the long ones and I would always choose a long over a short but it is ocassional and based on the brides wishes.
