We love to celebrate any ocassion big or small. And what better way to honor someone by putting in all the effort and decorate the hell out of the theme. A ballon arch in my opinion is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to transform a room and make it look like you put a lot of thought and work into it.

Balloon arches we already had

I have made so many balloon arches during the last years, so I might add that I am doing quite the good job assembling them. Always love a great theme to make the most of it. Kid´s birthday parties are of course the best cause I can go all out with colors and all things cute but a plain balloon arches can also look very good.

Add ons like garlands, number and figure balloons to complete the scene

If there is a little gap between garlands, on the floor or you just want to add some fun or dimension to your balloon arch you can never go wrong with a matching theme foil balloon.

Best ways to hang

I have tried different ways and the two things that are my go-to´s are clear fishing rod, thumbtacks and Tesa Power Strips.

The best string to put your balloons in line

I have tried different strings and find that the best are the ones I have linked below. They are not as tight and the wholes are not sharp so your balloons won´t pop before you hang up the garland.

I prefer the right one here with the single whole. The plastic is much smoohter and doesn´t hurt your balloons. Also it is tighter together. You can get it here.

The one thing you need to come out sane

If you plan on having balloon garlands and arches on more than one occasion I would definitely remmomend an electric balloon pump. You can never blow up this many balloons. Mine is was under twenty and I have had it for years and it still works great. You can also blow up the big foil balloons with the balloom pump. You just need a longer noozle (is included) and a little patience as it takes much longer than a regular balloon.

How many balloons will you need for a moderately large balloon arch

I´d go for 30 to 40 to have a moderate size which meassures about two meters.

Where to get your balloons

You can either buy themed sets or get all of your requested colors equally. I would definitely recommend on looking around what color pairings are available cause they are much cheaper and less balloons when you can get a set. Also there will be everything included you´ll need. Best shops to get all things themed are amazon, SheIn and Temu.
