Wedding Wednesday – details on my Wedding Dress….

….

Good morning y´all,

(post contains not sponsored links/Werbung/Beitrag enthält Markennennung, Verlinkung)

I am more than happy to shar another Wedding Wednesday post around here. Still have to left after this one. It was getting a little quiet with my wedding posts because the holiday content was just too much so this one had to go back to drafts until a free Wednesday which is today.

It is probably the most important post of this series – the wedding dress. The bride wouldn´t be a bride without it so I wanted to share as many information about mine as I can.

I didn´t have the most detailed idea of what dress I wanted, the only three things which were very important to me are sleeves, a button tape with white buttons on the back and a long dress.

My dress style is between an a-line and ball gown dress since I have such much faric (seven skirts underneath).  The dress has an in-built corset and a natural waistline (which works very well for every body type). Around the waist line is a belt draped with a little flower arrangement including some silvery pearls.

The neckline is sweetheart and covered with a longleeve made from lace and flower embroidery on the sleeves and on the neckline. Now we are at my favorite part of the dress. The low back with the many many white silk buttons I wanted so badly. A little plus for me – the sleeves also had buttons. Wasn´t too good for getting ready but I had one bridesmaid on each arm and my mum at the back so the buttons where closed in time.

I have never heard of the designer before. It is a Belgian label called Jarice Bridal and my style is called My Dream from their Elegance line. I have to admit I didn´t have a special designer in mind. I just wanted a dress I was a 100 % happy with and I found it. In the first store after trying on about 15 dresses.

It had to be fitted twice. First they shortened it and the second time they made it a little wider around the waist cause I was so anxious it wouldn´t fit on my wedding day but it did and was perfect.

Looking back I wouldn´t change a thing about the dress and get the same one again.

Thanks for stopping by and if you are a bride-to-be be sure to check out my wedding tab. Maybe your can find some information to help you plan your big day.

Happy Monday you guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

is is snowing where you live? Just asking cause it is pure chaos here. The snow was predicted to come a week ago and as it didn´t snow so we thought we would be safe but the weather has fooled us.

So this look is from last week when we went to try out the new breakfast/brunch place I told you about on Saturday (that is why there is no snow in the pictures).

Do you guys love the poncho trend? I personally love it. Wheather it is capes, ponchos or huge blanket scarves to wrap around my shoulders. I definitely want. The story behind this piece is really funny though. I got it at the Zalando Outlet Store in Leipzig (view travel post here) and realized a few days later, as I was unpacking and hanging stuff on my closet rack that I already had the same piece in a dark green shade (view photo here). These are the disadvantages of not trying things on but this time in a positive way cause I love wearing the green one so much.

I paired my poncho with a skirt like last time. Don´t be intimidated by wearing your poncho with a skirt. If you take a slim silhouette on the skirt it doesn´t look bulky what you might think in the first place. I have worn this short black faux leather skirt and a pair of black giraffe print tights (absolutely love my patterned tights).

For some pop of color I decided to go with burgundy since I have neglected it pretty bad during the Christmas time. First I thought the shirt would be too dark underneath the poncho and create a strange shadow but it was fine. To complete the color theme I added this burgundy velvet bow and one of my favorite handbags from DKNY.

My lipstick is the Maybelline Moisture Exteme lipstick in color Burgundy. One of my favorite lipsticks in my drawer. I have it two time cause I am afraid that someday they won´t produce it anymore.

As always thank you for stopping by.

Casual Saturday #38 – Zara / H&M try on + a new breakfast place we tried…

….

Good morning guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I am wishing you a happy Saturday. The last weeks have gone a little quicker I had wished for but that´s just how it is. So for today I am sharing some things we did.

printed dress (not available anymore in this print) – Zara (wearing size M)

volant dress – Zara (wearing size M)

knit sweater – Zara (wearing size M)

blazer jacket – H&M (wearing size 40 but 36 would have worked easily)

midi dress – H&M (wearing size M)

Sales:

I personally love the after Christmas sales more than Black Friday because in my opinion the deals are way better and the sale prices are much less than the original prices. I used the opportunity to stock up on dresses and hair accessories I can wear most time of the year. My Zara and H&M order arrived in the middle of the week and I couldn´t wait to try on all the pieces. I have linked as many as possible but things sell fast.

Food:

Last Saturday we went to a new breakfast place in Regensburg (not new in general but new to us) cause we got a voucher for Christmas to try it out and what can I say – it was delicious. I personally love breakfast but I can never eat as much as I want in the morning as I am barely hungry, also a reason why we went at 11 a.m. the other reason was that we just slept too long. It is called the Weichmann´s and the café is just the cutest. It has been a former gallery and includes the cutest little wintergardena and also an outside spot for breakfast in the summer. I had the waffles with maple syrup and two eggs sunny side up. They also serve fresh pressed juice but I´d rather take one without the chance of having pulp in it.

TV:

We started to watch Supernatural on amazon Prime last week and are currently in the middle of season 1. There are already 12 existing seasons so this is going to last a while. Also I wasn´t sure if I could watch it but there are mainly monsters so I am fine with it.

Another movie I wanted to watch is Bird Box but I have seen the trailer and was already scared as hell so I think I´d rather skip this one. Although I really wanted to see Sandra Bullock in a movie again.

Has anyone already seen the spin-off of Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl called You?? I am not sure if I want to start it. Is it good?

Beauty:

I had a appointment at the hair dresser yesterday as you may have seen on my Instragram channel. I am going to do a post with all the information about my hair very soon, like color and cut and my favorite items to maintain it.

Fitness:

I am not totally back at my routine but I am at the studio at least 2 times a week which makes four days of excercise (included Line Dance on Monday and Latin dance on Tuesday). It feels good to start to get moving again and especially to get back into a routine. The holidays always make me so lazy in the end. I also ordered a pedometer which shows the calorie consumption of a day and also tracks your sleep cycle. I first wanted the original Fitbit one but in my opinion it is way to expensive cause I know myself and I don´t know how long I am going to use it. So I got a slim black one from Medion.

That´s it for this week. We are going out to bowl this evening with a couple of friends and head to the Beach House for dinner afterwards. I know exactly what I am going to eat there – any clues?? Of course, a Ceasar salad with sweet potatoe fries and guacamole.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a nice weekend.
