I am starting the new week with a vacation post from Lake Garda. I have taken so many different swimsuits with me but only came around wearing three of them cause some days it was just to hot to sit outside at the pool or the lake. I really didn´t want to get sunburned at all.
Since it is going to be the end of summer soon and vacation time is in its high some of my original pieces aren´t available anymore but I have linked the closest pieces I could find under every look.
I personally love to add all kinds of accessories to my swimsuits. A plain swimsuit can be totally fine but bringing it to the next level by adding trendy pieces like colorful sarongs, dramatic statement sunglasses and woven sunhats makes so much more fun. It may not be super parctical for going into the water but let´s be honest, the majority is not going to jump into the pool all the time or dive her way through.
Another thing I highly recommend is wearing a sarong or a kimono to the beach bar. Although it is a beach bar the people who come after you don´t want to seat on a chair were your sweaty butt has been a minute before. I wouln´t want it and I am sure most people wouldn´t too. For me this just belongs to etiquette.
Hoping your week starts well. I am super tired today and have to pick up several pieces in our garden after a huge storm hit us last night. Haven´t seen so many lightnings in a long time. To be honest it was a little frightening.
My Lake Garda Travel Diary is coming to the blog this week but if you are on the search for different travel content check out my travel tab here and to find out what we did in Verona or what we ate all week. Fall posts are hitting the blog very soon cause I have to honestly admit I am in kind of a summer rut. I don´t want to dress for the heat anymore and also I don´t want it to be hot anymore.
as Summer comes slowly to an end I am posting my last Summer looks until I go all in for fall fashion (can´t wait cause fall is my favorite season all year). I still have some posts I want to share with you whether it´s looks or beauty or vacation wear.
I got this dress for our Lake Garda vacation but didn´t come around wearing it so I have worn it on the weekend last week and I love it. It has the perfect lenght, is super light, not seethrough and under 15 Euro. I am wearing an XL cause of the meassurements and it fits great, but make always sure to check the size reference so your article fits right. Sizes differ a lot on their side.
A denim jacket is the perfect companion for almost every Summer dress and it is no exception in this case. To complete the look I added my favorite pair of espadrilles and laser-cut handbag in white.
Are you also longing for the weekend as bad as I do ? I am so so tired everyday and I desperately need to sleep in.
For tomorrow I am going to share another recipe. Two side dishes I love to make whether it is for a BBQ, a steak or just to eat plain. Check it out.

we are facing the beginning of another week and only 4 more and we are walking straight forward to fall fashion. But since we are still in the middle of summer I won´t bother with fall pieces except this adorable tweed jacket I got from SheIn the other week. I personally like to shop from the SheIn website. They have adorable and unique pieces you will not find at every place. I have done a SheIn guide back in December so if you are interested how to shop the site you can read about it here.
Styling tweed in the summer
I coulnd´t wait to wear this beautiful tweed jacket so I styled it in a summery way. The colors would allow so many different color combinations but I went with a strict grey and baby blue color theme. I really loved how the look turned out. The wrap dress I am wearing is from H&M and very old but I have listed a similar one. A jacket and dress combo is one of my favorite go-to combos ever so it was no exception I loved this look.
The pearl studded headband is from etsy and I have been wearing it a ton, it is in the color navy. I orderd two and I have to admit I thought that the creme colored one would be my most worn but I was so wrong!!
To round- up the look I added a pair of rather flat sandals (cause the dress is to short for higher shoes) and a bamboo handle bag in a matching color.
So glad the tweed trend came back cause it is right up my alley.
Wishing everyone a good start into the new week. See you.
every other year there is a significant product which you can spot on all of the social media platforms and since I have blogged about the most worn fashion blogger scarf I am sharing another type of this post including these block heeled sandals.
They are available from every designer now but the first ones I saw everywhere were from Sam Edelmann. After seeing the nude block heel strappy sandals on some famous fashion blogger they spread like a wildfire and reached almost every corner of the world. I also got myself a pair and I have to admit I first didn´t understand what´s the deal but now I know. They are super versatile, the block heel makes them comfortable and thin straps add some sexyness to the sandal. The IT shoe who has it all.
I kept my whole look very simple in white and brown hues. A leopard shirt plus a felt hat don´t hurt and make the ultimate staples for (hopefully soon) upcoming fall.
I have linked some different brands with different price points at the end of the blog plus some great fashion blogger who have worn them a ton. Also if you are interested in last years blogger´s favorite post you can read it here.
