….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
hot weather front is back and has me like a brick in my face. I really can´t stand this quickly changing weather anymore. One day it rains and is cool and the other day it is heating up again with about 80% humidity. So what are we craving when the weather gets so unbearale hot?

Iced coffe of course. I mixed mine with cold chocolate milk, cream and a

splash of
caramel but you could also do without all these ingredients. This is probably
the most unmeasured and quickest recipe I have ever shared but too good not to.
Also this
feels like a whole meal so you don´t have to cook anything after. Not healthy
at all (just saying) but so good.
Ingredients:
– espresso
(freshly brewed)
– crushed
ice
– chocolate
milk (I used soy)
– caramel
syrup
– heavy
cream
– funny
straws
– brew one espresso and fill up your glass with the cold chocolate milk (leave a little for heavy cream)
– add crushed ice if you want
– fill up with heavy cream now and drizzle with caramel syrup
– put in a colorful and funny patterned straw
– enjoy

Side note: you can also make the espresso a double or drizzle with chocolate or fruit syrup

Now it is up to you. Create your own 5 minute drink to survive the heat.

As always thanks for stopping by and a happy weekend.

A windy day at the shore in Sirmione…

skirt Mango sold out similar here, here, here and here / camisole old similar here and here / earrings H&M / sunglasses H&M / bag Mango sold out similar here / wedges Tommy Hilfiger sold out similar here and here / nails Essie Blanc

Hi there friends,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
I am sharing another vacation look I have worn during our stay at Lake Garda. Another day, another skirt. Guess I just can´t give up my beloved skirts for pants but I also don´t have to.
So let´s have a closer look at the picutres. Standing at the shore of Lake Garda in Sirmione with all the winds and the smell of the water totally reminded me of standing there and watching the ocean. I really love every sea, lake and river cause the water has always been fascinating for me. Whether it is on the outside or on the inside and I can´t even tell you how much I am looking forward for our honeymoon cause we are going to be at the ocean the whole week.
The skirt was a sale find I got a few weeks ago and apparently a pretty fashionable one since there are lots of similar and even cheaper versions out there.
I paired it with a white camisole and a pair of black Tommy Hilfiger wedges. I got these years ago and they still make them but they sell out fast every year.
A bamboo handle bag is still pretty cool (wanted one since I saw the first one which came out by Gucci) and I probably gonna use mine forever. Hopefully the Mango quality can keep up with my plan. I have found a really similar one from Urban Outfitters for you guys.

And last but not least my other accessories. The earrings are from H&M and still available (got mine during summer sales last year) and so are the sunglasses. I really like the gray and brown turquoise pattern on the frame since it really makes a huge difference for your face.
As always thanks for stopping by. If you are interested in my wedding content be sure to check back tomorrow as I am sharing my top ten pieces for a bride to be.
Take care. See you tomorrow.

Travel Diary – Lago Di Garda – Part 3 – Day 5 to 7….

^dinner at Spiller^

^they serve the best burger and fries I have ever eaten^

^really enjoyed strolling around our hotel since there was a new area behind every corner^

^view from our parking spot in Garda^

^last pizza at the barrel bar (at least for a while)^

….

Hi guys,
(Werbung/Anzeige/Ad)
I am continuing with my travel diary for Lake Garda today. This will be the last part of our awesome trip to beautiful Italy (view part 1 here and part 2 here).

Day 5
Since the weather was not supposed to be as it really was we headed to Sirmione for this day. This place is right at the bottom of Lake Garda and the castle of Sirmione is totally built into the lake.
We wanted to go up the castle and alos visit the grottoes but it was getting warm pretty quick and the walking from the parking spot (you can´t park inside the city unless you are a resident or have your hotel there) was about twenty minutes away.

Altough the weather got hot and humid really fast we walked around an hour until we sat down for a coffee and a drink. I like to sit at the place where the ferry comes in every hour cause there is no better space for people watching than there.

If you could resist to get some ice-cream until now you can forget about that when you are in Sirmione. The moment you enter the city there is one ice-cream shop after the other. It is incredible how much ice-cream they make. I believe it it more in kg than they have residents. We had some fragola and went on exploring.

Day 6
This day was a little out of plan. We actually decided to drive up the coast (if you have time you should really spend some hours on this cause the lake is so picuresque, it is unbelievable) to Malcesine which we did but we didn´t get out of the car there cause it mas market at this day (have forgotten to check this) and this small city was full with cars and people and there wasn´t one parking spot left.

So we decided to drive to Garda, leave the car there and go for a walk along the waterfront to our favorite place the Barell Bar (Torre al Casello). We had a nice walk along the lake, a great late lunch. This time we switched. I had pizza and Florian ate a panini and overal enjoyed our afternoon.

After getting back to our car we went to the hotel to spend our last hours we had left for our pool there.

For dinner we drove to Bardolino to eat at Spiller, again. We decided to go there again cause they had a huge screen outside and it was the best restaurant to watch the German soccer game at night.
I didn´t mind either cause the food there is oh so delicious and they have a such a wide range on dishes they offer.

Unfortunately the Germans lost and dropped out but the food was marvellous. Can´t have it all am I right?!

Day 7
So this was our last day and after breakfast we checked out and headed to Affi. Our highway exit was in Affi and also our last toolbooth. There is also a huge shopping center in Affi where I wanted to check some stores but in fact we both wanted to head home to Chloe so we just grabbed a cup of coffee and some sweet treats and went on the road.

I hope you enjoyed my travel guide. You can view guides and posts to all of the places we went on my travel tab.

Stay tuned for our honeymoon in September. We are going to stay at an awesome place at the ocean.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Ladylike at Parco Sigurta – Italy….

skirt amazon / hat Asos sold out similar here / shirt Asos / slides Zara last season simlar here and here / sunglasses Asos simlar here / handbag Guess old similar here  / shoulder strap Carpisa / lips Faint for Fuchsia Maybelline
….

Hi guys,

I love to dress up you know that well do you?! So I am always searching for great locations which will go with my sometimes unusual but still pretty pieces. For example this skirt. It is an a-line skirt which isn´t very common. The trend is coming more and more but most people opt for a slimmer line but I love it. I have several skirts in this shape and would wear them over and over again so for me this is almost a casual piece.

An a-line skirt creates such a flattering and ladylike silhouette. Have you known that the first skirt designs of Christian Dior after WW 2 where a-line skirts? So something with such a historical value has to be incorporated in today´s fashion and especially into today´s look.

I have found this hidden gem on amazon and ordered it right away is is about 15 Euro and I was surprised of the quality. The skirt doesn´t have lining underneath but the material is thick and not seethrouhg at all so that is totally okay. The sizing is a little tricky. Be sure to always measure. In this case you only have to measure your waist so there is not too much work upfront.

I paired it with a plain white shirt with ruffles sleeves I also got from Asos shortly before our vacation and of course a dramatic hat which matched the coloring of the skirt so good. The bag I took with me is from Guess. I own this one for about three years now and I still love using it especially for vacation. Cause you can zip it inside. The shoulder strap isn´t the original one, I have found the pink one a day earlier during out Milan trip. It is from Carpisa and was only five Euro so what´s not to love about it. And let´s be honest – adding pops of pink to a look never hurt anyway.
If you want to see more picutres of the beautiful garden´s of Parco Sigurta check out my 2nd travel post about Lake Garda here.
As always thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
