you might remember from all the red I was wearing around Christmas time I am a sucker for this color. I really love a vibrant shade of red but also can´t say no to burgundy for expample.
Since maxi skirts are a huge trend in the summer months I got this pretty pleated skirt while we where in Italy on the market. I totally adore pleated skirts no matter the color or material or length. There is just something so feminine but still playful which always keeps me around this type of skirts.
I paired mine with a white shirt with silver glitter print. I really like that the print isn´t too much but still visible since I wanted the focus to be on the skirt.
The skirt isn´t too long on me so a pair of sandals with a small block heel was enough (these photos where taken on our vacation so luckily I had these shoes with me).
Have you recognized the similarity of my handbag to a Valentino handbag ?? Found this treasure at a small shop in Peschiera del Garda. Be sure to walk till the very end of the city to find this hidden store.
My bridal brunch on Saturday was a real hit and a dream in rose and gold. I was so happy that almost all the girls which are invited to my wedding could come.
I have found out that you can personalize your lipstick at KIKO so I am heading over to the store tomorrow. Of course I am updating you guys. And they also have a buy two get two for free campaign at the moment.

this was the first time I have shopped at Amazon during the Amazon Prime Day (haven´t had Prime for years – happens).
I have to say that there are always lots of articles on my wishlist I am interested in but I end up deleting them after some time. Usually I am not browsing on Amazon I only go there if I am in need of a a prodcut I know they have and is nowhere else available or I just need quick delivery.
But I have found some great deals on beauty products I needed but would have gotten somewhere else or somebrand else and also on other stuff. They have tons of great deals these 36 hours.
So what is the Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon offers lots of great deals (mostly 20 to 30 % off) on all and I mean ALL kinds of articles. If you are in need of anything electronic I am sure you can find it no matter what you need.
The sale took part from the 16th of July – 12 am to the 17th of July 12 pm.There are also some deals which start later or are better than others but are limited in the 36 hours.
We where talking about getting a new coffee mashine for quite some time now. I have a Nescafé Dolce Gusto but it keeps getting worse and worse and also after decalcifying the amount of coffee which get out doesn´t get more but let´s be honest, the mashine is now five or six years old and which one does last that long !!! Also the capsules are pretty expensive so this was another reason for switching mashines although I love mine (was a limited Facebook edition).
Since we have this coffee mashine at our office I now the different pads and how they taste. So I ordered the pads in bulk. We need them anyways. This sale is also great to stock up on basic items like kitchen goods or baby products.
This wasn´t something I wanted but I loved immediately. Since I have redecorated our living room(view the post here) I am always on the look for navy or dark blue pieces and this was the one. First of all I have never heard that Amazon has its own brand called Amazon Basics. This was totally new to me. I got the blanket in the 2,29 x 2,29 m size in navy. Can´t have to many soft and cozy blankets for Fall and Winter and for this price.
That is an item I meant when I said stocking up on basics. I am currently using the Happy Buddha body cream but it will come to an end so why not getting a back up while it is on sale since this brand never really goes on sale or reducts products.

Burt´s Bees beeswax lip balm I always love to have some of these at hand for my own use or just to throw into a gift back. They are moisturizing my lips perfectly and I really love the smell and the taste.

hot weather front is back and has me like a brick in my face. I really can´t stand this quickly changing weather anymore. One day it rains and is cool and the other day it is heating up again with about 80% humidity. So what are we craving when the weather gets so unbearale hot?
Iced coffe of course. I mixed mine with cold chocolate milk, cream and a
splash of
caramel but you could also do without all these ingredients. This is probably
the most unmeasured and quickest recipe I have ever shared but too good not to.
Also this
feels like a whole meal so you don´t have to cook anything after. Not healthy
at all (just saying) but so good.
Ingredients:
– espresso
(freshly brewed)
– crushed
ice
– chocolate
milk (I used soy)
– caramel
syrup
– heavy
cream
– funny
straws
– brew one espresso and fill up your glass with the cold chocolate milk (leave a little for heavy cream)
– add crushed ice if you want
– fill up with heavy cream now and drizzle with caramel syrup
– put in a colorful and funny patterned straw
– enjoy
Side note: you can also make the espresso a double or drizzle with chocolate or fruit syrup
Now it is up to you. Create your own 5 minute drink to survive the heat.

I am sharing another vacation look I have worn during our stay at Lake Garda. Another day, another skirt. Guess I just can´t give up my beloved skirts for pants but I also don´t have to.
So let´s have a closer look at the picutres. Standing at the shore of Lake Garda in Sirmione with all the winds and the smell of the water totally reminded me of standing there and watching the ocean. I really love every sea, lake and river cause the water has always been fascinating for me. Whether it is on the outside or on the inside and I can´t even tell you how much I am looking forward for our honeymoon cause we are going to be at the ocean the whole week.
The skirt was a sale find I got a few weeks ago and apparently a pretty fashionable one since there are lots of similar and even cheaper versions out there.
I paired it with a white camisole and a pair of black Tommy Hilfiger wedges. I got these years ago and they still make them but they sell out fast every year.
A bamboo handle bag is still pretty cool (wanted one since I saw the first one which came out by Gucci) and I probably gonna use mine forever. Hopefully the Mango quality can keep up with my plan. I have found a really similar one from Urban Outfitters for you guys.
And last but not least my other accessories. The earrings are from H&M and still available (got mine during summer sales last year) and so are the sunglasses. I really like the gray and brown turquoise pattern on the frame since it really makes a huge difference for your face.
