….

Hi guys

and happy Thursday. I am checking back with my 2nd travel guide about our stay at Lake Garda today. I am sharing what we did on day 3 and day 4.

Day 3
On our 3rd day at Lake Gardo we went to Parco Sigurta which is a huge parc. Since the Sigurta family owned the area in 1941 in has been a parc. The first use has been a farm which got destroyed and after that the parc was unclaimed.

There are also several buildings at the park which have been used as secret meeting places but are closed today.

From our hotel in Castelnuovo it was about 15 minutes to drive and we arrived there. We got our tickets (12,50 Euro each) really quickly since there wasn´t a line at all and decided to get onto the little train and ride around the parc first before running around wihtout a destination. It cost 3 Euro extra per person but was great. The park is huge and you really can ´t see how huge from the map. The ride took about 20 minutes and we came back to where started. From there we took a map and decided where we specifically wanted to go.

We went to see the turtles, the water lilies and the koi carps. They also had maze to wander around but there where about a hundred school kids inside so we skipped this one. After walking around another hour we decided to go back to the car and get some coffee at our hotel since the coffee bar at the parc was very crowded.
Overall I liked the parc very much but I was a little disappointed that they didn´t have anymore flowers. They had some roses and some hydreangeas but I expected fields of flowers and that just wasn´t the case.

In the afternoon we went to the pool to relax and read a little and of course for swimming.
For dinner we decided to drive to Garda which is also a really pretty city but we almost always forget about it. We had trouble finding a parking spot cause I couldn´t remember where to park at first and Garda is not that big so we passed through pretty quick. But we found a nice spot not far away and after walking a little we got a front row dining spot which could not have been more picturesque. The restaurant is called Café Roma and you can have dinner there as well as just sit with a drink and stare at the lake. Everything we ate was delicious (view pictures above).
I totally love all of these little cities cause after having dinner you can stroll around, look into all the little shops and maybe sit down at another place to have a drink or two.

Day 4
On our fourth day we finally got to go to the market. I really love the Italian markets since they sell really pretty things from clothing to leather goods and shoes to ceramics (which are the prettiest) and high quality table cloths. I waited on purpose to go to the market on Thursday. On Thursday´s the market takes place in Bardolino and I think this is by far the best location for it. You are walking along with the lake view on your left and the market stalls on your right.

We planed on getting up early but this failed terrible. We where so tired we didn´t hear our alarm but overall we where just about 30 minutes late which was totally fine cause obviously we picked a great week with less crowds than usual.

After buying a bunch of stuff at the market we decided to get into Bardolino itself to get a drink and something to eat but this was by far more exhausting than I thought since it was a hot day and everyone wanted to have a refreshing drink.

It was also our first time to get some ice-cream. I got a scoop of pistacchio but it wasn´t as good as I thought.

The rest of the day was spent by the pool and trying on all of my fashion finds.

In the evening we drove over to Peschiera del Garda which was only about three minutes away. We walked a little along the boardwalk until we got hungry and searched for a restaurant. We ate at the Bellavista restaurant a little outside of the city and the food was delicious.

I had a Cesar´s Salad and Florian ate a pizza. The Aperol Spritz we ordered where huge. I would always go for wine and aperitifs restaurants offer on their menu since they are the affordable drinks. Beer is really pricey in Italy but also who wouldn´t enjoy a glass of red to his pasta or pizza or a glass of white with the fish over a beer.

After our dinner we headed into the city. It is a really nice city with little bridges and lots of flowers. The main restaurants and the main life takes place around the canals inside of the city wall.

I have also found a cute shop where I got an awesome Valentino handbag dupe for a really good price and also such a beautiful black jumpsuit which makes me want to ditch all my LBD´s.

It really doesn´t matter which city you are visiting they are all unique and pretty in their own way.

Forever Barbie Girl // the prettiest oleander bushes…

skirt Zaful sold out similar here and here / jacket from Italian market similar here and here / wedges New Look similar here / camisole from Italian market similar here and here / bamboo handle bag Mango old similar here and here
….
Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
who doesn´t love a pop of pink am I right?!!
This is one of the last looks we have shoot at Lake Garda. Can you see all the oleander bushes in the background? Aren´t they just beautiful. They had them planted everywhere and not only one bush but hundreds of metres of blush, pink and white blossoms.
A black and white look is one of the most versatile you could wear cause it allows you to add any color you like. Whether it is a royal blue or a sunny yellow or in this case a Barbie pink.
I really love the color of this pink jacket. For me this is the perfect shade also Barbie would wear. I have worn this whole look out for dinner and loved it. The skirt is made of a neopren material and super thick which makes it swing really great too.
The wedges are from New Look. I got them cause I desperately needed a pair of white wedges. I don´t know why they are so hard to find, maybe cause everyone only wears nude.
Have you seen the little K bag charm? I really like adding personal touches to my looks as well as vibrant colors.
Since my bridal bruch is the day after tomorrow I am in full preparing mode over here. Baking, cooking table scaping and decorating. I think this turns out very well and very pink you guys. Stay tuned for lots of pictures.
Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Ladylike in stripes….

off-shoulder shirt old similar here, here and here / bag David Jones old similar here and here / heels old similar here and here / palazzo pants H&M old similar here and here / lips MAC Charlotte

….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
sometimes it just feels good to go big. Putting on my palazzo pants and heels, creating an old Hollywood hairstyle and adding the perfect shade of red lipstick. Fortunately we where invited for dinner this day otherwise it might have been a bit too much but who cares anyways, I loved it!!

By the time Summer comes around I always find myself combining red, white and blue looks. There is just something so effortless but chic in this color combination and also after the fourth of July and all the outfit inspo I have seen and created I like it even more.

Off-shoulder shirt are still a huge trend and if you look around in stores you will find so many of these styles. I personally prefer them over a normal shirt cause it immediately adds this dressed up feeling to me even if I am just wearing a pair of ripped jeans to my shirt.

A good fitting and versatile palazzo pant is necessary for Summer. I understand that not everyone likes them and of course after the skinny jeans period it can be hard get used to super wide legged pants. I tend to wear jeans with a looser fit or a boyfriend cut or a bootcut leg but taste is different and since there is everything in style you can wear what you like best.

Pops of red are my year round staple and I certainly do love a red lip in Summer I find myself gravitating around the pinks even more.

Do you love dressing up from time to time??

On another note: My wedding dress came in yesterday (yeah !!!) and I can´t wait to see it in person. It has been so long since ordering it (over 5 months). I also got the rest of the stuff for our candy bar and a bejewelled comb for my second hair trial. The first one worked pretty well but the hairstyle didn´t turn out as I wanted it to be. So I changed the style and the hair acessories and I hope it is what I want this time.

Thanks for stopping by guys. Take care. See you.

Summer trends wishlist and discount codes // Rosegal…

….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
since every season has its own special trends I am sharing my favorite summer trends on the blog today. For this post I have teamed up with Rosegal, a huge online retailer which is celebrating their fifth anniversary of their online shop from July 2nd until July 22nd. So be sure to read until the end of the post to get all the information.
#1
Scarves
Little scarves are over every fashion bloggers account these days. Whether you wear them as a headband, wrapped around the handle of your handbag or actually around your neck you should not miss out on this trends since it is super easy. Just pair a little scarf like the new silk satin fake collar small square scarf for ladies to your casual shirt and jeans look and it upgrades your look immediately.

#2
white sunglasses
White sunglasses are huge this summer and in my opinion awesome. We are wearing darker frames year round. A pair of white sunglasses elevates your look especially if you are wearing a pair like the retro flat lens catty sunglasses. They add such a Brigitte Bardot at the Cote d´Azur feeling to the whole outfit.

#3
sling back pumps
I think this trend has caught my eye since high class desingers have taken up this form of shoe and made a trend out of it again. I can remember wearing myself a pair of red leather sling backs in 2013 or something (still have the pair). So if you want to treat yourself to a new pair how about this slingsback pointed toe casual shoes in a vibrant red.

#4
camisoles
A camisole is the perfect top for wearing to a date night on a hot summer evening. The shiny silk and the lace trimming adds sexiness to a look. This top speaks for itself so just put on a pair of jeans and a pair of black or nude strappy sandals and you are definitely good to go. So how about this lace trim slip top which would also be a total stunner under a cardigan for the weekend or under a blazer jacket for a much more polished look. Camisoles are perfect to wear year round and definitely to spice up your usual shirt game.

#5
print shirts
Not only huge brand over t-shirt are declared as print shirt. There are millions of other picutres which could be printed on front of your t-shirt. I especially love this fashionable jewel neck eyelash lip print short sleeve. Maybe it is of my slight make-up addiction but I think this is such a great and unique print. You can create so many different look with a print shirt by playing with the color in the shirt or layering.

#6
jumpsuits
I have to admit that jumpsuits took me a while until I really got into the trend and starting to like it. There has always been this toilet issue for me as I don´t like to undress totally. Well the issue is still there but let´s be honest who could resist this floral slit wrap wide leg jumpsuit in this gorgeous mint shade. It really is the perfect summer piece as it is flattering and airy and there are so many color options or different prints.

#7
gingham
Gingham has been a strict summer pattern for decades but it somehow managed to stay in our wardrobes year round so it is no surprise that there has to be at least one piece like this adorable plaid halter one piece swimsuit on my summer trends list. Black and white is the classic color combination for gingham print but I would also love it paired with any other color.

#8
off-shoulder
I had been a fan of the off-shoulder trend the second it came out. I don´t care if it is a dress or a shirt or a pullover. Although a off-shoulder stripe blouse also is „just“ a shirt is creates a much more dressed up look than wearing a simple and tee with a pair of denim and a skirt and since there are so many off-shoulder pieces around this trend is still going strong  and stays for a couple more years .

#9
straw bags
Since I am a real handbag addict I had to add a straw bag to my wardobe and of course since this trends has been around the third year now I collected quite some but this would not stop me from getting this color striped vintage straw crossbody bag at all. Just the cutest to wear with date night looks or for strolling around the city.
So now let´s move on to the even better part. The sales. First of all many of their products are 40% off or even more so go and check that out.

Second of all they have great coupons on their site. You can with something new every day. A gift card or an additional amount of  % off the sale price.
