Hello guys,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
it is the first day after the holidays and are you feeling as strange as I am today? I am still in kind of a holiday bubble where I want to eat all the time, watch movies and lounge around.

But real life has us back and the days between Christmas and New Years are always so weird. I have to things I want to accomplish before going back to work in January and that is painting and redesigning my bedroom and moving my blog from Blogger to WordPress. Maybe a little to much for only two weeks but I need something that keeps me going.

Since I am still in my Christmas bubble and I don´t want the holidays to end I am wearing as much red and plaid as possible. So this beautiful blazer is on repeat. I tried to dress it down for the days inbetween as it looks much more comfortable. To dress dowm my blazer jackets my first option always is a pair of denim. This loosens up the look much more than a skirt or a pair of black pants – remind yourself not to look to business formal but more casual.

So we have the jeans, now we are adding a simple top. I used a black turtleneck without any pattern or anything. You want to make sure that even when you are dressing down your blazer jacket that it still is the star of the show.

Add the accessories you like. In this case it has been a baker boy cap, a pair of pointed toe booties and a zipper detail hand bag and you are good to go. Oh and of course a red lip never hurt nobody!!

Now I am off to get some paint and get that first project started.

As always thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
