Everyone is busy prepping for Christmas this week and not only the homes but also ourselves. I love to really dress up for Christmas. All sequins and bows cause why not?! The year is boring enough already so let´s get dolled up on a few days at least.

I wanted to share three hair styles with you today you can easily prepare and wear for the upcoming Christmas festivities.

Pearly Headband and Low Bun

This is probably the easiest and quickest of all three hairstyles I always find myself to long for when I have washed my hair and don´t want to curl or straighten it. All I am doing is to comb my hair and part it in the middle. Then I make a low bun and spray down any hair that´s left somewhere and then I add my headband and cute matching earrings. This is only taking about 5 minutes.

Clip-in hair bow

If you want to add some color and playfullness to your look I would recommend adding a big bow to your hair. If you want to get as much volume as possible I would say curl your hair first like I did and then comb it over your head after letting the curls cool down. This will give you a ton of volume. Now tease the top of your hair and fixate it with volume spray. I use the Syoss Volume Spray that also doubles as a hairspray. Then gather some strands and clip in the bow in the middle of the back of your head. This might need a buch of attempts if you want it to look perfect but it gets better quickly the more often you try.

Sparkly Rhinestone Hair Clip

If your hair is already curled (or however you like it) I would just touch it up with some root spray or volume spray and tease the hair on the back of your head a little. After that choose a side for a side part. I always use the same side cause I think it is the most flattering to part it to the right. Then I refresh my curls and add the sparkliest rhinestone clips I can find. Mine are super old and from Zara but I don´t use them very often so I love to re-use them. Such a classic look inspired by the old and golden era of Hollywood.

A Hint of Christmas…

….

Christmas is only one week away, only ONE!!! Time went much faster this year cause not only did I have to get everything ready for Christmas I also had to keep up with a busy toddler who is fighting naps like a champ lately.

We got some Christmas to-do´s off of our list today to keep up the festive mood. At the moment I am watching A Castle for Christmas and love it so far.

So for all of my ladies who don´t want to go all in, in terms of Christmas cheer I would suggest a cute scarf with a plaid pattern and / or a red lip. It still says Christmas without having to wear a Christmas sweater with Rudolph´s nose on it.

A plaid scarf matches almost every outfit and it definitely keeps you warm too plus it spreads the cheer.

Christms joy is finally spreading everyhwere and if you also want to dress appropriate for Christmas in your office but not look goofy I would say go with a cute red knitted dress.

To tune it down a little I would go with all neutral colors to complete the look. I went with an black and white oversized gingham blazer. To set some focus on the dress I put a white thin belt on my waist line.

So let´s have a look at my shoes for once 😉 I wanted to get sock boots when they got trendy but to be honest I was about 6 months pregnant and every pair I have tried on was super tight so I gave that up pretty soon. But for this year I went on the hunt again and found a gorgeous black pair. It is super stretchy and the heels aren´t too high which means they are acutually comfy to walk in.

And the best is they look awesome with dresses/skirts as well as with denim.

Are you guys done with Christmas shopping? I have to wrap a few things still but then I am all set for the most magical days.
