Gossip Girl and totally into headbands lately….

Hi guys

I haven´t unpacked everything yet – and yes I am as tired of writting
the same sentence again and again as you probably might be to read about
it (but it is the current situation – can´t help it) – I haven´t found
all of my movies or series but there is one I actually haven´t watched
quite in a while –

Gossip Girl –

loved this one a lot cause of the different characters, the stuff which
was going on (and let me tell it is always a lot and you shouldn´t miss
one episode to make sure you are keeping up with it) and of course and
in first place the styles and outfits of Blair, Serena, Lilly and Co.
you all might know – and I am quite sure about that – at the beginning
Blair is wearing a lot of Headbands and so I got back into wearing them
I think they are very cute and super versatile. You can create a lot of
different Hairstyles as there are so many different types of Headbands.
So here are some I have tried and worn lately ….

Here are some of my personal collection….

Here are some headband which are currently available at stores….

Golden Headband

Knitted Jersey headband

Braided Headband (available in lots of Colors)

Flower headbands (great for upcoming Festival season)

Take a look at the H&M online shop. They have a lot of different headbands.

Do you have plans for the Weekend ?

Take care. See you. Love K.

Blog Make Over

Hi guys,

I decided to give my blog a little different look. At the beginning I had this pink striped background and almost everything in pink but now my style got a little different and I wanted to get a more grown up blog layout (at least I think it looks like this right now). Of course that doesn´t mean that I don´t like the girly stuff anymore – of course I do but it should be a little more down to earth.

I wanted to have the background white and just a few color highlights and shades. I do think it looks better now. What do you think ?
Have a nice day.
Take care. See you. Love K.

Bath Storage and my new bathroom

Hi guys
today I am showing you some great products to get organized in your bathroon and they also look very chic.
There are many different styles and types but I decided to go with those clear acrylic ones.
First of all I am showing you where I am storing my Make-Up products. I decided to go with this little containers because I already had matching bathroom cabinets so I did´nt want to get new drawers.  They have 3 Schubladen and little shiny silver knobs. I like them a lot and it fits a lot of stuff into them.  They quality is great – it is a thick and stabiles material.
They are available in 17 colors !! Ordered them from amazon.

The next thing I have to help me get organized is this lipstick case. It holds eight lipsticks – it doesn´t matter which shape they have – of any brand.
Had to get a few more than one because I have way more than eight lipsticks but that is okay for me.
Bought this type at the local drugstore. Here is a similar one from amazon.

Here are a few other organizing ideas I have used in my appartment earlier ….

I also purchased those bright petrol bathroom carptes. They match perfectly with the tiles. And I always like a good match 😉

This all took so long to pick out and decide which one to take and which one to leave. (Cause you can´t get everything or at least not at once)
Decorating and furnishing is a slow process (maybe not only for me) but in my opinion it is better to finish room by room otherwise you are gonna get crazy.
Think of a concept first. Choose the style and the colors you would like upfront and pick up some pieces you like to try out how they look. There is not so much difference in buying decoration stuff or clothing. Trust me.
Maybe I could have been quicker to get everything done but I rather spend time with my boyfriend than working in the house all by myself. (I think that´s totally understandable)
Although it takes a lot of time but when you are constant and patient you are gonna have a great place to live and of course the most important part – a place that feels home to you.
The next room I am going to finsh might be the living room.
Keep looking forward for more house updates and decoration ideas.
Take care. See you. Love K.

Instagram Round Up

Hi guys,

another round up for you today to keep you updated with my daily outfits.

You know how happy I am that the weather became warmer so I can wear my skirts and dresses without any tights. Gives you a feeling of freedom.

I had worn this outfit on my first day back at work after I moved and unpacked total two weeks.
The shirt is really comfy and lightweighing and I like the snake print a lot. In fact I do like almost every kind of print. The skirt is a black pencil skirt with zipper details at the waistband. So I mostly wear shirt I can wear inside the skirt.

This is THE perfect dress for the 70´s theme. The shape of the dress is a tight and classic fit. It is a little longer than my usual dresses and it has this cute bow at the front and a waterfall neckline. The colors and the stripes are also so pretty. Unfortunately this one is already sold out.

Had worn this one on a casual friday at work. In fact this one hadn´t been my own idea. I saw this combination on a woman at the gas station a few days earlier and I immidiately liked it so I duplicated it. Shame on me 🙁 but it still was a nice and comfortable casual outfit for a short friday at work.

This is one of the outfits I had worn to my dancing lesson. I mostly wear skirts which are swinging and swaying. I like it a lot when you are turning and swirling and your skirt does that too.
It is kind of a printed or pixeled flower pattern with different colors. I paired it with a dark pink colored light summer pullover and pointed heels. Had been a hard lesson this day. A lot of technique for quick step and waltz – not my favorites at all.

Summer showed up for one day and it was this nice and pretty wednesday. I wanted to be outside the whole day so badly but there was so much work to do. Fortunately it was still warm on the evening so I sat outside on the patio and enjoyed an ice cold Aperol Spritz.
The dress is a colorblocking one. It has this light rose color on the top and a dark burgundy color for the bottom. The collar is also made really nice but unfortunately you can´t see it in this pic.

One day hot the other day cold. Weather had been so crazy lately. The day before I had worn this gorgeous summer dress and the other day a thick jacket a scarf and boots !!! – because it snowed !! during the night.
It is a jersey blazer paired with a black longsleeve and a pair of jeans. I also had worn black leather boots and a big scarf with a snake pattern in matching colors to the outfit.

Another work outfit paired with boots. It definitely had been a tough week. Paired those dark blue Hollister Treggins with a blouse with some cute ruffles at the collar and a nude longcardigan from H&M. The boots are old but they kept me warm throughout the day. Unbelievable I have to say this over the month April.

Bought this pretty blush on friday. My boyfriend and I went to the mall to buy some cable stuff we still needed for the TV. He was a little late so I went arround by my own for the first hour. Big mistake. I got some more great products I am gonna show you later but this blush is so nice I had to post a picture of it.

A casual sunday outfit. Threw that on to make breakfast in the morning and still wore it for coffee in the afternoon. The leopard cardigan is pretty old in fact but I still love it a lot. Paired it with a white tank and a pair of destroyed jeans and my favorite docksiders from Highland Creek.

That´s one of my favorite combinations with grey and white at the moment and it was the first time wearing white pants this year. Paired those destroyed H&M jeans with this soft waterfall neckline shirt and a super soft cashmere cardigan and silver pointed heels from Buffallo.
We where heading out to dinner to the Beach House and enjoyed a baseball game and some delicious californian food.

The last outfit pic I am showing you for this round-up is this dress in this bright and awesome cobalt blue. Got this one from the last H&M midseason sale and it is adorable. Is is so light and comfortable and the color is so nice for spring. I paired it with a scarf from Topshop. I like this scarf a lot cause of the pattern. It looks like an old chinese ming vase.

Hope you are all having a great week so far.

We are making a little road trip tomorrow and watching a soccer game on friday.
 What are your plans ?

Take care. See you. Love K.
