Coming in hot with another amazing Fall trend – the color burgundy. Isn´t Fall the very best with its vibrant colors, its cozy materials and all things pumpkin. I have always loved the classic Fall colors and am happy to report that we are right in the middle of a great Fall trend recovering burgundy.

Burgundy

Burgundy is not a „new“ color, especially not for Fall but to be honest I have never seen it this popular and so many gorgeous pieces in this shade. I particularly prefer the very dark hue. It just hits the right spot to my color loving fashion heart like a good old glass of red wine. I have worn lots of burgundy throughout the years and still have many pieces I love and wear over again.

But if you are new to this trend now would be the perfect time to fill up your wardrobe. There truly has never been a greater selection.

Puff Pastry Apple Slices….

…..

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate LInks-not sponsored)

We have had so many apples and plums to harvest this season so I have been thinking of lots of delicious Fall themed treats to share with you guys. Plums are not exactly my favorite but I have found them to be quite yummy when they aren´t enjoyed alone.

Here is the recipe for a 4 ingredient apple sweet treat that will spice up your coffee on cool Fall mornings or sunny Autumn afternoons.

A little pro tip – make sure to keep the puff pastry as cold as possible or it will get sticky and and won´t be easy to process. You could also dip the apples into the cinnamon-sugar mixture before covering them in puff pastry.

Another delicious tip is that you could sprinkle on some caramel sauce after baking. This makes it even more Fall appropriate. I would have done so but we were out.

Fall Trends – Leopard Print…

….

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate LInks-not sponsored)

It has finally cooled down and you can feel this in the air like nothing else. All signs are up that we are heading straight into a marvellous Fall and I can not wait. Not only holds a new season tons of new beginnings, but this year it will also be when our sweet little baby finally arrives. But as long as we are patiently waiting for the arrival of our little girl I am going to share as much Fall trends with you as possible.

Let´s start with the most present one …

Leopard Print

I have always loved leopard print and used every opportunity to grab a great piece of clothing with leopard print. Most of us have leopard print probably considered as a neutral for Fall and Winter cause it has been everpresent and so fitting but it is back in full force and on everything.

The most iconic piece this season is the leopard print pant and I am going to try on one as soon as I have back hips and a waist. Other then that there are many more things I love. A headband if you want a subtle touch or a jacket as a statement piece.

Delicious Pumpkin Bread with White Choclate Frosting….

….

If there is one thing that really needs to be included in the Fall season it has to be some pumpkin bread for me. I just love everything about it. It is dense, flavorful and soft, a little sweet a little savory and with the white chocolate cream cheese frosting absolutely addicting.

I have made several every year and they are always gone within two days. Sorry, not sorry!! So today I wanted to share the exact recipe I am using for the pumpkin bread (which is actually a cake) plus the frosting I am making for everything.

Ingredients Pumpkin Bread:

Dough:

– 450 gr of flour
– 400 gr of sugar
– 500 gr of pumpkin puree
– 220 ml of vegetable oil (I like sunflower oil)
– 160 ml of water
– 3 eggs
– 2 tablespoons baking soda
– 1,5 tablesoons salt
– 1 tablespoon cinnamon
– 1 tablespoon nutmeg

Stir everything together until you have a smooth dough. Works for two pumpkin breads.

Bake at 160 degrees for one hour.

Frosting:

– 400 gr cream cheese
– 300 gr melted white chocolate
– squirt of lemon juice
– one cup of confectioners sugar

Let the chocolate cool down a little before you stir the frosting together. Apply as much as you like and top of with pumpkin spice or cinnamon.
