Hi guys and happy Saturday,

you might have noticed from my Instagram that we have been to Vienna this week for my birthday.

I had been there a few years ago and forgot a lot and Florian has never been in this city so we thought it would be nice to get away for a few days after the Christmas stress.

It is about 4 hours away from our home so we where there pretty quick. The weather hasn´t been any other than in our hometown so we packed lots of sweaters and boots.

After arriving at our hotel – we stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in the west of the city – we went into the old city right away. They have a great underground system pretty easy to adjust and I would really recommend buying a two or three day ticket cause you can get close to all the sights in a short amount of time.

The first thing we went to see (arrived on Sunday so all the shops where closed) was St. Stephen´s cathedral (was built in 1365). A huge cathedral in the middle a huge place where all off the shopping streets meet.

We also had been inside and it was even bigger. This is always so impressive to me how people where able to build such high and huge buildings many centuries back. I also love the colorful glass windows the old cathedrales have.

Our next stop was the Hofburg. The hofburg is a former imperial palace where the famous “Sissi” lived. It was built around 1300. The area of it was huge. There where several other buildings like the riding school and big arcs where the carriages could drive thru. Nowadays there are also two museums located and two buildings for the parliament.

Vienna also has its own museums quarter but there wasn´t time to visit and we aren´t huge museum people.

After drinking a hot chocolate at the Hofburg café – cause it had been so cold after wandering around for hours – we went back to the hotel to shower, get changed and go out for dinner (coffee is around 5 Euro at the Hofburg so don´t be surprised).

We searched the internet for some restaurants to eat but here where just too many so we enclosed our search by restaurants in a walking distance from our hotel and we found an Indian restaurant. Since it was Sunday at that is our choice of food for Sundays we went there right away. The restaurant is called Rani and the food was delicious – in fact we wanted to go there every day. I ate the Murgh á la Rani which has been chicken with a savory sauce and a Naan which is the flatbread and Florian ate the Ghost Madras which has been beef in a spicy sauce with onions and pepper and he also ordered some Indian rice as a side dish. We had some red wine and just enjoyed our evening – haven´t been on a date night for such a long time with all the festivities going on lately.

Hi guys and happy Friday,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
although I was on vacation the whole of the week I am really looking forward to the weekend. We are invited to a huge birthday party of Florian´s uncle tomorrow and there is some preparation left like hair and make-up, which hair style fits best and of course accessories. I am really happy to get an ocassion to dress up since we didn´t do anything big on NYE.

But let´s move on to the outfit. I am always loving a pretty shade of pink and this pullover was no excuse. A turtleneck is such a staple piece for your wardrobe. I also got this one in black. I paired it with a faux fur vest I am owning for ages now. In fact I think it was the first one I have ever bought.
But the highlight of the outfit are still the boots. I have shown them earlier to you guys and I still love them. Make me feel so princessy. I also get so many compliments on them when I wear them.
The matching bag pretty was a coincidence. I didn´t plan on wearing the Longchamp Pliage to this look but my dad got me this from his Dubai trip and the color was absolutely the same so I had to add it to the outfit.

What do you think? This look would work well with pretty any other color. Which one is your preference?

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check back tomorrow for our Vienna travel review part one.

Take care. See you.

Winterstyle – denim skirt and top trendy brown accessories….

skirt H&M on sale!! / bag Michael Kors / boots Tamaris old similar here and here / tights / belt Louis Vuitton / earrings Bijou Brigitte old similar here / turtleneck Zara old similar here
….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
despite the fact it has been freezing cold the last few days (and also during our stay in Vienna) I am always trying to do my best to show you the (in my opinion) prettiest outfits for Winter.

I had worn this look to travel to Vienna and I loved it a lot. You can never go wrong with a denim skirt. In fact it is such a versatile piece and material. A denim skirt can so easily be dressed up or dressed down. It is just about adding the right accessories.

I paired mine (from H&M and on sale!!) with a brown turtleneck – since this color is all back in style – a pair of brown boots and my favorite LV belt. The bag I added was a Michael Kors shopper. I wanted to take a bigger bag with me since there is always so much stuff I need, want, have to carry in my bag.

Although it is Thursday today it feels like Monday to me but this is going to be such a short week. Yeah!!

I am going to plan on shooting some wedding fotage on the weekend so stay tuned for my first wedding posts. I couldn´t be more excited. Going to ask my bridesmaids this weekend!!!

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Winterstyle – glencheck oversized blazer jacket / cadett cap / Givenchy Antigona dupe….

glencheck blazer H&M / pullover H&M sold out similar here and here / earrings H&M sold out similar here and here / denim H&M sold out similar here and here / otk boots Wallis Paris similar here and here / cadett cap H&M sold out similar here and here / bag Fashion Drug
….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
you might know that I am a sucker for pattern and I love plaid or checked pieces so from the moment I saw this oversized gingam blazer jacket at the H&M sale section I had to have it and I love it.

I paired it with a baby blue pullover and a pair of distressed denim. Since the blazer jacket is oversized the pullover fits right under.

To round up the outfit I added a cadett cap in black and also a pair of black otk boots.

The bag I am wearing is my pre birthday present I got from Fashion Drug. The Givenchy Antigona medium dupe in light grey. Their bags are great and made from such great material. I also have the Celine dupe. I would really recommend those two.

We are already on our way back from Vienna. It has been some great days with lots of sightseeing but we are more than happy to be back home with Chloe.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
