Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
are you also as glad as I am that the weekend is here?! Couldn´t be happier.

We went to Ikea yesterday so I could finally get a new closet solution for my shoes. There was one when we moved in but in fact it was the biggest crap I have ever seen. The back was open so I always had little spiders sharing my shoes with me and the wood was so sharp so it did scratch some of my shoes. Enter tears here.

Now I have the Pax closet solution I have our bedroom and closet and I couldn´t be happier. The storage volume is awesome and it is closed on every side so more spiderwebs on my shoes. This really has been so gross.

In fact that has been everything I was looking forward to this week. Is this sad?

We are heading out to Florian´s cousin later to play with her baby. He is just the cutest but meanwhile he got really big and boy is he heavy.

I have sent out my wedding invitations last weekend and so far everyone was very pleased and excited. Hopefully everyone is attending.

Since Easter is right around the corner I started preparing already. Going to try out some new recipes for our Easter brunch and of course the table scape needs to be set. I am going for a gold and purple theme this year.
I had been interviewd from LookVine about my style and my passion for fashion. I keeping you updated when the interview goes live.

Mikasa eyeshadow brush review and discount code….

led make-up mirror amazon / eyeshadow palette l.o.v cosmetics / eye brow powder Shiseido / clear make-up storage here / mascara Estée Lauder Sumptious Knockout
….

Good morning ladies and happy Friday,

let´s talk beauty today. A few weeks ago a company called Mikasa reached out to me if I was interested in testing their products. They are selling make-up brushes and after a quick look on their site I was thrilled and wanted to try them immidiately.

In fact I was on the hunt for a new set of eyeshadow brushes so this chance came in the right time. I got the Essential brow set and plus one eyeshadow brush for free. Obviously it was a test run before actually launching this extra brush.

They arrived after a few weeks (came from Canada and I am here in Germany) I started to test them. I have been using them fo about 6 weeks now and I must admit I have one definite favorite.

For the main color of eyeshadow on my lids I am using this brush and it is perfect for getting a solid shade on.

I am using this brush for blending in my eyeshadow and it works just fine. The hairs have the right amount of strength to blend the color beautifully.

This is my favorite brush. The double ends are perfect to do your eyebrows. You can comb it with the one side and fill them in with the other side. The brush is perfect to put on your eyebrow powder. It really takes up a lot of powder and it is soft but not to soft.

Although this is a concealer brush I am using it for drawing a thin line of eyeshadow on the outer corner of my lower lash line. This works perfectly since the brush is so thin.
Overall the set is great and the brushes are made of good quality. Another good reason to get them is that they are made of synthetic hair cause I can´t use brushes made of real hair, they cause an allergic reaction on my skin.

For getting your first set of brushe I have a discount code for you guys. Just type in the code at checkout and you will get a 25% off.

Colorful stripes by esmara and royal blue for Spring….

sweater esmara by Lidl / skirt H&M old similar here and here / handbag Mario Valentino last seson similar here and here / wedges old similar here / lips Paris Cherry from L´Oréal
….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
you all might know by now that I have a huge affinity for colors. The bolder the better and the more the merrier.

This sweater I have found last week was perfect to satisty my hunger for colors. It is from esmara by Lidl and was designed by Heidi Klum. It is such a veratile sweater you can combine to many colors and it looks cute with skirts and pants as well.

The sweater is about 13 Euros which makes it really affordable. The material is super soft and I think the quality is great for the price.

I paired the sweater with a royal blue skirt I have owned for years now. The color is so vibrant and bold I just love how it pops especially when it is gray all day.

My white Mario Valentino bowling bag and a pair of red wedges add some freshness to the look.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for some beauty news and a discount code.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Wedding Wednesday – how I started to plan my wedding….

wedding planning glass etsy / wedding planner asos / Yankee Candle Wedding Day / folder amazon / pens amazon / book Style me pretty weddings amazon / book the knot amazon

….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
I am finally sharing another wedding post today. It is all about starting to plan and staying organized while planning.

First of all I got a wedding planner and a file. All the contact information, our inspiration and our correspondence with vendors, caterer, florists, music bands and wedding stores is in here. Also our guest lists are in here.
Before looking at any vendors we made a guest list. Not final but we needed to know how many people we want and can invite.
This also makes it easier to find a vendor cause they all offer for different sizes of parties and some have a minimum guest number of 100.

With the first expenses I started the file where I have an eye on our budget and all the invoices sorted in categories.
This makes it a lot easier to get a quick overview than a pile of paper in a shoebox.

With all the main aspects of planning tools I got some goodies for myself like the wedding planning glass. I love the shape and the font and it is just gorgeous. Got it on etsy. They offer many different ones but I had mine shipped to Germany so this wasn´t as easy as I thought first.

The second thing I wanted was the big jar from Yankee Candle. Wedding Day is one of my favorite smells since I stepped into the first Yankee Candle store years ago. But now it finally makes sense to own one.
Another great tool for planning is Pinterest. It might be no secret to all my girls out there that I already had a secret wedding board saved for a long time.
Pinterest is great and offers lots of ideas but it can also be overwhelming and confusing at the same time to have so many options and choices. I decided on a color scheme first – this wasn´t hard at all for me since I love the fall and our wedding is at the beginning of fall so I went with burgundy and orange – and then went on Pinterest for ideas. Still was a lot to process but a lot more already fell of the edge.
We still have about six months for everything but we are pretty far by now. We have a vendor, a date, a music band and a dress and a suit. Table decoration is almost tinkered and the invitations are sent out.
We also booked our honeymoon and got our wedding rings.
Feel free to ask any questions. I also have a wedding tab where you can find all the themes I have already written about.
Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
