Hi guys,

since I am cutting out most of the dairy products from my diet I am always on the search for other options and also for new products. I am a huge coffe lover addict so the most important part for me was to find a replacement for the milk in my coffee. 

I was drinking soy milk for a long time and then I switched to oat milk which I honestly enjoy much more. It tastes a little sweeter and I like it a lot better. Recently I was at the supermarket and looking for another type of milk – you can´t have to many options am I right – and I wanted to try the cashew milk but in fact I wasn´t ready to pay 7 Euro for one litre. This is insane expensive for just adding to your coffee. So I decided to try it myself.

I bought a pack of cashews and drove home.

The recipe is really simple. Step one is to put the needed amount of cashews into a bowl of water and let them soak for about 4 hours. I always take one cup so I have at least a little meassurement.
Afterwards you pour into a strainer to get rid of the water. Put your cashews into your blender, add water, I add two cups but this depends on how thick you like your creamer. 
For flavor you can add a teaspoon of vanilla paste, or a table spoon of maple syrup or even agave syrup to add some sweetness.
Blend everything together and fill it into a glass jar. Whether you are taking one with a screw cap or a swing top use a funnel to avoid the spilling and the mess afterwards. I buy the bottles at our local drug store but they are available almost everywhere.

You can store the cashew creamer in your fridge for about 5 days so I would recommend smaller bottles if you are not a daily coffee drinker.
This might be the easiest recipe I have ever posted.

have you seen that the annual music festival Coachella in California has started on Friday?

For this reason I got a little festival crazy and got some things which would pair really nicely with the dancing and partying festival crowd down there.
The dress is from the great price section from Zara and it was only 10 Euro. I really love the stripes and the color. The red, tan and navy pairs so well together.  Also the asymetrical ruffle hem is really cute and the material is super soft and super stretchy.
The suede leather jacket has been sitting in my closet for quite a while now but there is the right time and look for every piece of clothing. A matching pair of espandrilles pairs perfectly for the festival scene. Mine are from Vero Moda and true to size.

A hat would also be really nice. A feodora or a felt hat but I had a pretty good hair day this day. Gotta take ´em how they come 😉

 Are you up for festivals or do you prefer less crowded places?

if you are following me on my blog you might have recognized that I am a heel lover. In particular the pretty high and thin heels. 
But sometimes – and this happens even more in Spring and Summer – I am longing for sneaerks. One special pair to be honest. My Converse sneakers. They are indeed my favorite pair of sneakers ever. The crips white paired with the thin red line around the shoe include two of my favorite colors. I also really like the canvas material and that the sole is thicker and a little higher than normal sneakers.

In my opinion a pair of white and low cut Converse sneakers are the perfect option to combine with a dress like I did in the photos above. The navy striped cotton dress paired with the red jacket tied around my waist where the best matching partners for this pair of shoes I could find. 

A little sporty but not too much otherwise it wouldn´t be me anymore. To round up the look I added this absolutely adorable and super matching Tommy Hilfiger stars shopper to the outfit. 

Really loved it and enjoyed running errands.

and happy Tuesday. Tonight has the half of my work week passed and there are only two more days to go before the weekend yeah. I ordered some beauty products I have read about and I am dying to try them out as soon as they arrive and we are also planing a BBQ (set some recipes aside I want to try). Didn´t have enough time last week and the weather wasn´t the best despite the forecast. 

But now that Spring is coming back we are not only able to have a BBQ on the weekend I am also sharing my top Spring and Summer lipsticks for the warmer weather and all the bright dresses we are going to wear.

So let´s go by category. Might be a little easier to understand cause I go a little crazy with anything lipstick related. 


glossy and sheer color

This type usually reminds me of a beach vacation cause all you need is hydration and a hint of color on your lips. I have found some pretty good items to fullfill this task. First of all the L´Oréal Color Riche Shine. In comparsion to all the matte lipsticks this one is pretty light and shiny. There are several great colors for summer. From rose to red they all fit. A welcome change for the hotter months. It is hydrating and in my opinion is also lasts pretty long. Great catch for 11 Euro. The color I am showin is called „Trending“.
The second lip color I am sharing is an alltime and longtime favorite of mine. The Kiko Milano Creamy Lipgloss. This is more a lip crayon than a lipstick but I love it and it fullfils its purpose. They have a huge color range on this product but the only color I have ever bought is the bright red shade (color 105 Fire Red). It is my third one in two years. It is about 7 Euros and my absolute favorite product every year.

Of course we should also incorporate a trending color since the color of the year is ultra violet and it is definitely possible to wear this one as a lip color. 

I got these two lip colors from Avon. The lighter one is also a sheer but very lovely light orchid shade and the darker color is like mixture of a pink with a bright purple. So pretty. Since you can only order Avon through your sales contact I have listed some similar items below.


nude and matte
Since I am not in the mood for a popping color everyday – let´s say 5 out of 7 – I also got a myself covered with a nude shade in my beauty bag. The L´Oréal Lip Paint Matte is like a gloss but with a heavier and thicker consistency of the product. It is a matte shade and the color is pretty light but it covers really good. The product comes in a tube with an applicator. It costs about 8 Euro and in my opinion it is really worth it. The color is called 208 Off White.


classic deep red matte shade
This one is never out of style. The perfect red differs for every woman cause of the skin and teeth color but every and I mean EVERY woman should own a classic red lipstick.


I prefer wearing matte shades and one of my favorite is the MAC Russian Red shade. A darker and deep red shade. It is pretty similar to Domination from the cooperation of Balmain and L´Oréal. MAC lipsticks are usually pricier than the other brands I purchase but it there exists a color I am totally sold on I have to have it. And they last when you are rotating your colors a lot. About 25 Euro.
