since I am on the home straight in terms of furnishing our house (this time I really am) I am totally in decoration and getting everything set and ready for the Easter holidays since family is visiting. 

All I need to get ready is our entrance (just need to add doors to the new shoe closet), our living room (hang the curtains, get some unreal but pretty flowers and some candles) our powder room (hang the lamp) and our guest room (find and buy a little poof or a little bench and buy some candles). 
This might seem a lot to go but it is not. There has been much more to do a few months ago but since I am constantly working on the house we are almost through.
Anyways I am in full decoration mode now and also might want to switch some of the older pieces (Florian is not happy cause he thinks I am starting all over again – so not true, just refining). So I am sharing what is currently in my cart, what I bought and what I am really craving but just haven´t hit the shop button yet.

What I already ordered:
– I got the six piece pillow set for our living room and I love it. I think it is a great price point and there are so many different color options to choose from.
– The black rug found its place in our corridor upstairs. I absolutely adore the pattern and I also have another two of them in the gray style in our living room.
– Isn´t this table runner with the bold blue colors just the cutest with all the little doors? I got this one for our dining room table since I am redecorating a little after the long hard winter. I just had a feeling I needed some new stuff especially since it is Spring now.
– Another piece I already got is the mirrored tray. I ordered it in silver and I absolutely love it. Don´t have any piece like this at home. This is awesome for decorating but will also be great for flat lay beauty picutres.
– Last piece or pieces I ordered are the black basket metal side tables but they are on back order. Hopefully they wil get here soon. I am going to divide them and use them in too different places. First place will be the living room and second place will be under the stairs since there is lots of light and room for a plant. 

What´s still in my cart:
 – I need some more silver decoration pieces so I am definitely going to order the pineapple when I have enough stuff together for my next H&M order.
– Also the creme bench is in my cart. I need this one for the guest room but there is still some time to go and I don´t want to stand it around and block everything. Only thing I am thinking about is if I buy it in the nude or in the red color.

I am sharing another white and blue striped button down here on Madame Schischi today which means Spring is finally here. At least in my mind.

So if you have taken a closer look you might think where are the buttons? Good question – they are in the back. Somehow not an easy top to wear. The buttons are on the back, the ruffles are hard to iron but overall it is a fabulous combination of playful and business like.

I paired it with one of my favorite pair of denim. In my opinion the middle line on the front of denim is pretty flattering. 

The brown and taupe accessories round up the look and don´t draw to much attention so the focus still is on the gorgeous blouse.

In fact I wanted to post about my latest home decor finds (the post also got up by accident but empty, sorry for that guys) today but I didn´t get around to make the widget yesterday so I scheduled the post for tomorrow. Be sure to check back cause there are going to be some pretty pieces. 

On another note I am totally in Easter prepping mode so there are going to be some Easter posts up next week. Keep on checking back for those if you are interested in all things Easter.

fortunately I found these photos we shot on Friday on my SD-card. I have totally forgotten about them and was already panicking cause I didn´t have anymore outfits to share with you. 


Anyways a baby blue and white color pairing always gets me in the Spring and Summer mood. Maybe its the maritime vibes of blue and white or the ease this color combination is spreading.

To add some more color I paired my look with a pair of block heels I got from H&M which totally matched the embroidered flower on the shirt. 

But the best piece of this look is the basket bag. Doesn´t it look super cute. It is totally amazing. Great size and so affordable (only 30 Euro). I have got a nude one with tassels and a black one last year but this one is so stinking cute I had to have it. Zara has an incredible range on basket bags to offer. I also loved this one. 


Im so over snow and the cold and I just can´t take it anymore but I think it doesn´t get better soon. Hopefully I don´t have to hide easter eggs in the snow in two weeks.

since the weather is getting worse again, I really can´t believe it. We woke up yesterday having like 15 cm snow. Snow !!! I really thought we where through and it was getting better but after the weekend and ice and snow it only can get better.

For this reason I am going back to last year and post a look I never came around posting but we couldn´t take any pictures yesterday cause I refuse to wear a Spring dress in the snow. This would be ridiculous.

A good top and blazer combination is something you can never go wrong. This can easily be worn for your work space, you can dress it down for a casual day by adding a pair of slippers our you can also dress it up for going out. These are two closet staples which make a powerful couple.

I went for a white blazer – a little overlong in the back – and a flower printed crop top. I don´t like sharing my belly so I combined it with a pair of high-waisted jeans I loved ever since I got them. Still wear them frequently.
Adding some red accessories to white creates a fresh and crisp appearance. I personally love this color combo a lot. 

Did you guys do anything special at the weekend? We built up lots of Ikea furniture. Our house is done by 95% now and I couldn´t be happier about that.
Today we are going to eat out at our favorite restaurant cause it is our anniversary. Yippie. Also wedding planing is doing really great.
