Hi guys,

it was Florian´s birthday yesterday and I am wishing him all the best and lots of love and health.
So I am dedicating this blog post to the person I love the most in
the whole world. He is the one who makes me happy each and every day.
The one I can´t get tired of spending time with. The one I am feeling safe
and secure with. The one who makes me crack up about complete crap. The one who takes all my blog photos no matter the weather. The one who loves my little dog like no other. The one who cares for us. The one I love exploring new places with. ……
 For all of these reasons and many more I am hosting a birthday party for him today. Not a surprise party – he knew that I was cooking and people where coming over – but still some tiny surprises included. 
I went with a blue and turquoise theme as it fits pretty good and he likes the color blue.  
 I made the cake the day before so there was only tapas preparation yesterday. I am going for tapas style as it is easy to make and you can snack throughout the whole evening. As we put in some bar tables it is much easier to eat. I decided to go with these tables cause the guests are pretty mixed and so people don´t have a fix place and they can move around and stand by whomever they like.
 
I got most of the party decor from my favorite online store pinkpartydots.de. They have so many pretty things to offer which is always giving me a hard time to decide.

So cheers to another year full of hapiness, joy, excitement, travels and surprises.

Hi guys,

today I am sharing all the information of our quick and easy getaway. After not having a real summer vacation as we where on our trip in June already we decided to get away for two days somewhere nearby. So we picked Munich.

Munich is a huge city and so multiculturel. We started at the Olympic park which is located at the outer edge of the city and it is really nice. It is a incredible big park with a lake in the middle where you can do stand-up paddling, wakeboarding or rent a pedal boat. Around the lake are several buildings like a stadium for concerts and soccer games, a ice-rink and the Olympic tower. We decided to go up the tower to get a 360 degrees view of the city. And boy the view was amazing. As it was a bright and beautiful day we had such a perfect view in every direction. There is also a restaurant located on the tower so you can dine with forsesight :). The Olympic parc was built for the 1972 olympic summer games. Since then it is a place for recreation and tourists from other countries.

After walking through the park – there also a summer festival as we went with different food trucks and a small market with lots of stuff to buy – we went to the English Garden to have a look at the Chinese Tower.

The Chinese Tower is a 25 metres high tower completely made of wood. The tower was built in 1790 as a viewing plattform. It has been destroyed and rebuilt after the second world war and now isn´t open to public anymore.

From all the strolling around in the parks we got a little hungry and went into the city centre to get some coffee and a snack. Of course our coffee stop was Starbucks (just can´t help it, we don´t have one in Regensburg so I am stopping at each and everyone I can find). I had a coffee americano and the best cinamon roll I have ever had. And I got this coffe to-go mug I love so much. With lipsticks marks and hugs and kisses.

After our refreshment we took a look at all the sights in the city. We stopped at the town hall on the Marienplatz for the famous bell ringing happening every full hour.

Then we went up to the Stachus a famous place at the end of the pedestrian zone with fountains and restaurants and places to sit and watch people.

For dinner I had planed to go to the traditional Hofbräuhaus in Munich be we tended to go across the street into the Hard Rock Café Munich and that was a great decision. We had pulled pork burger and mac and cheese.

After dinner we finally went to the hotel. We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Munich City West for the night. This is a design hotel chain and you can find one in at least every city of Europe.

The room was pretty big and we had a small terrace which belonged to our room. There was also a small kitchen aisle hidden befind a wood wall. I can´t say anything about the breakfast cause we just grabbed a quick coffee and then checked out and went to the Chiemsee.

The Chiemsee is a lake nearby Munich (about an hour away). It is a pretty huge lake with a big castle in the middle.

We rented an electric boat and drove arround on the lake for about and hour. We popped some champagne and ate some ice cream chocolate. It was really pretty and the weather was just fine for this occasion. 

Before finally heading home to Chloe we had pizza and a diet coke at a lake restaurant. 

This really was a nice short trip and a great opportunity to get away for some time. 

I think we might do this some more times throughout the year.

Casual Saturday #14….

Hi guys,

there has been going on a lot the last few days. Last Sunday we went to Munich to explore the city cause every tourist who visits our area has seen more of Munich than we did. So we spent a full day and a full night there and on the next day we drove on to the Chiemsee. A beautiful lake nearby where we rented a boat and spent some time on the water. There is going to be a post about those two days soon.
 After posting this post today I am heading out for lot´s of groceries. It is Florian´s birthday on Monday and we are celebrating with tapas and wine. I have to cook all the tapas throughout the day and make a bunch of different cookies and a cake. And of course I have to set up the decoration and the tables and everything else. Thank god I have a day off on Monday. The theme is going to be really pretty. The post will be up on Monday as soon as I have decorated.
There was a soccer game of Florian´s team on Wednesday and afterwards at Florian´s aunts birthday and we had an appointment on Tuesday and I had Line Dance on Monday and he had soccer practice on Thursday and then we went to the Beach House yesterday with some friends. So in fact the whole week was totally planned.
Eat:
 I always look forward to go eating at the Beach House in Regensburg cause I love their Caesar´s salad. The chicken is super soft and the dressing tates so delicous.

In fact there hadn´t been anything else I tried this week cause there hadn´t been one free evening but I am going to have lot´s of food ideas next Saturday from the birthday pary snacks and I am making a pumpkin soup today. 

Shop:
There hadn´t been too much shopping this week since I was pretty busy. I hate to say that but it really was true this time.

I got a machting dress for the birthday party decoration (that is so typical me).




I got this beautfiul striped midi skirt from mint & berry (repeat striped) on sale for 22 Euro. Although the colors are pretty light for fall this was a real steal and this is my favorite type of skirt.


Another thing I was dying to order where these pair of dark grey velvet ankle boots from Anna Field. I passed on the velvet trend last year (only got a velvet blazer) but I am totally into it this year. I also want a burgundy pair of booties with a chunky heel but these have to wait a little.


Also got a new felt hat for this years fall and winter. It is the VMDANA hat from Vero Moda. Adding a grey one to my collection cause I haven´t had one in this color. And with a price of 30 Euro you can´t go wrong that much.


Ordered these two gorgeous notebooks from Asos one with a palm print (from River Island) and the other one with a flower print from ban.do also Asos (sold out while sending it to my house) and these package of pencils from ban.do with such cute quotes to make your day. Only as cards left 🙁

We are still watching Pretty Little Liars – season 4 now but haven´t seen a single episode this week. Also we watched the Hercules Disney movie last Saturday. One of my favorite Disney movies ever.

Hi guys,

and happy beginning of fall y´all (I know onyl meteorological but that definitely counts for me and the weather also changed dramatically from yesterday 27 degrees to today 16 degrees).

So with the first day of September (and fall) today I am sharing my favorite nail polish colors for fall 2017 with you. I had a look at several fashion sites and magazines and of course in stores which ones are new and I really had a hard time to decide cause in fact I don´t need anymore colors although I got some. 

There are two colors remaining from the years before and I couldn´t be happier about them. That would be a classic red shade and a bold blue one. Always liked those two and I would have worn them anyway but now they are also on trend.

So what are your plans for the weekend? 
I am going to cuddle up in my softest pyjama on the sofa and a drink hot cup of cocoa, light my pumpkin spice candle I recently got and watch a movie or work on the notebook. I know it is only the first day of fall but I have been craving this weather so long now.
