Getting ready for hosting a dinner party with Paperless Post invites….

^preparing for the dinner party – I like getting ready early to have enough time before the guests arrive^
^but the first step before decorating the table and planing the menu is to create the invitation card^
^ I went on the Paperlees Post site and chose the categorie parties&entertaining – dinner party to find the Lyford template I love^

^you can take the template like it is or you can choose a different font, size and color for your text^

^is is also possible to adjust a background design for your card^
^and you can choose the inlay for your envelope you like, also the font and color for the front of the envelope and you can put a stamp onto it as well – in fact you can change every single detail the way you want it^

^after your card is finished you just have to save the e-mail adresses to whom you want to send it and it is arriving within minutes at the people´s mail accounts you wanted to invite – it is pretty easy an every step is described so you can´t do anything wrong at all^

…..
Hi guys,
one of the best things to get your friends and family together is hosting a dinner party. You can invite all your favorite people and have a nice, long and deep conversation over a delicious meal and a glass of rosé wine.
What I love most is preparing upfront. I make decisions on which table scape to take and write down the menu. Usually I am serving an aperitif, a salad or soup upfront. One main course and a dessert. This is where I can get really creative and this is so much fun to me.
But the very first and most important step is to send out invitations. So for this post I teamed up with Paperless Post to share you all the possibilities and advantages of online invitations.
I picked one from the dinner party invitations section. It took me a long time to go through all the differnent templates and to decide which one to take cause there are so many pretty ones. I dediced to go with the Lyford template cause the green, white and gold completes the table scape so well. You can choose from the backdrop and the inside of your electronic envelope onto what kind of stamp you want.
This kind of invitation really is new to me. But I think it has so many advantages. No invitation can get lost, you can send them out straight away and they probably get in your guests inbox within five minutes. Even if you have forgotten someone – which can happen easily with lots of guests – your invitation can still arrive in time.
This really is a great way and it saves you a lot of time and money. You only have to pay for your cards cause you don´t need stamps and you don´t loose time on planing cause you don´t need to wait for your cards to get printed and you won´t stand in line at the post office.

Not to mention the cool animation when you open the card in your e-mail.
Thanks for stopping by.
Take care. See you.

A huge thanks to Paperless Post who sponsored today´s blog post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Look book – color blocking skirt red, pink and purple / off shoulder shirt….

Hi guys,
I have to admit that I hadn´t be a huge fan of color blocking at all. Wearing pink and red was just to much for me although I love bold and vibrant colors a lot.

So this skirt is a perfect alternative for the whole color mixing thing. It combines red, pink and purple shades and you can wear a black t-shirt and bag to make a statement out of it. The skirt is made of a pretty heavy material so it swings very well with every step. I paired it with a pair of red patent leather shoes and a black straw bag.
I love that the top has an off shoulder collar cause in combination with the swinging a-line skirt it really looks like an outfit Sandy from Grease could have worn.

The weather is still hot so I can´t stop posting some of my favorite summer outfits. But I promise there wil be fall inspired looks on Madame Schischi very soon.

Hope you all had a nice weekend. We got some things around the house done – finally. Part two is going to happen this Saturday. And I have to prepare for Florian´s birthday party on Monday.
Thanks for stopping by.
Take care. See you.

Look book – white on white and a metllic satchel bag from Carpisa….

high waisted shorts H&M similar here and here / shirt H&M similar here / ballet flats Buffalo similar here, here and here / bag Carpisa / sunnies H&M

….

Hi guys,

as summer comes to and end my summer outfit posts also do. So I am posting one of my lasts outfits we shot already.

Going creme on creme won´t be possible in fall anymore as it rains a lot over here and I don´t want all my lighter pants get ruined by the dirt on the ground.

I always love a good pair of high-waisted pants whether they are shorts or jeans. This kind of pants shapes your butt and slims your waist and most important for me it flatens my stomach.

I paired this pretty and airy pair of shorts with a creme top with the most beautiful flower pattern I have seen in a while (you know I am all about flowers). Usually I wanted to go with a pair of wedges but I had worn this outfit to our line dance summer bbq so I´d rather went with a pair of flat shoes.

Adding a metallic bag works for a lot of outfits. The season doesn´t matter in this case so I am pretty glad I got this one from Carpisa on our South-Tyrol trip.

We are working on the outside of the house today to get some things done. There is still a lot to do and I have a feeling that we won´t be ready this soon.

Wishing you all a happy Saturday and a nice weekend. Thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you

Look book – how I wear a flower tunic to a date night with skinny pants and nude accessories….

…..

Hi guys,

this outfit was shot when we where on vacation in South – Tyrol. I had worn this on our date night. We try to keep up our date night schedule even if we are not at home. Sometimes everything is great and sometimes it´s just not working out.
But let´s admit that it is pretty easy when you are on vacation and there is no one else with you.

Now to the outfit – I do have a love / hate relationship with skinny jeans. Don´t know why it is like that. Maybe cause I had to wear leggins the whole time I was a child. I was pretty happy when bootcuts came into fashion in the late nineties and ever since I had been wearing them if they where on fashion or not. Just can´t say no to the fit of a flared leg and plus it slims you thighs – if only optically – it´s more than a girl could ask for from a  pair of jeans.

Although I added skinny jeans back to my wardrobe a few years ago. I don´t always like them wearing, depense on my daily shape and which tops I am wearing with them but they became an important wardorbe staple. But enough about denim let´s talk about the beautiful flower print on the tunic. I got it from a local market when we where in South-Tyrol and is just so pretty.
The silhouette is really flattering as it ties in the waist and the sleeves are long and wide.

I paired it with nude accessories to set the focus on the tunic. The quilted crossbody was a great find at H&M for only 20 Euros and the sling back pumps are old but I still like them and I have listed some similar ones below.
