Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag Post enthält Affiliate Links)
there is something about combining patterns which makes me a little frustrated. I love seeing it at other peoples outfits but when it comes to myself I am not quite sure what to do about it so I decided to start in bits and pieces like I did with color blocking.
As this trend came out I would have never worn pink and red togehter. Now I am looking forward to wearing outfits like these. So I started the same with combining patterns. And for this look I combined two different animal prints. Leopard print on my handbag and snake print on my booties.
For the rest of the look I combined this burdundy sweater I got from H&M and this chocolate brown skirt I got from bonprix (also available in black). The brown and burgundy color combo is one I love most for colder days. Burgundy is a dark shade but it is so rich and vibrant and brightens up every Winter look – and not to mention that it looks perfect wearing the same burgundy color as  a lipstick to your shirt.
It is still snowing here so I am a little frustrated. I wanted to take some outfit pictures but with this amount of snow coming down it is like rain and my hair gets wet almost immediately. I hope the weekend it getting beter. Craving Spring…. anyone else???

Celebrate with me in a burgundy lace cocktail dress….

dress Asos / pumps New Look via Asos / earrings H&M

….

Hi guys,

sometimes you are invited and you have to go big. And sometimes a simple cocktail dress in a pretty color is just as good as a sequin dress would be.

We had been at the 60th birthday party of Florian´s uncle on Saturday and it was a blast. There where about 130 guests and the table scapes where beautiful with lots of candles and roses. The menu was insanely chic and trendy. It was a five course dinner including fish on mashed vegetables, filled noodles, filled beef, salad with rare mushrooms and frozen parfait for desert.

For my look I went with a burgundy midi dress from Asos I got before Christmas. It is under 50 Euro and just beautiful. The color was perfect for a birthday party in winter (Florian´s tie was matching the color of my dress perfectly).
The whole dress was made of a lace fabric and the ruffles on top of the dress where such a highlight. I especially liked the lenght. But now on to the heels. I have found them on Asos before Christmas and they where like 35 Euro. I ordered them in my usual size (37) but they where too small so I sent them back and also ordered a size bigger and by this time they where only about 18 Euro. So sometimes there is a meaning behind to small or big clothing 😉
To round up the look I took this black satin bow clutch with me.
I decided to go with an up-do for my hair cause I also need to start trying out different hairstyles for my weeding look. I am not quite sure now what I want. Although I liked this style I don´t want it for my wedding day. I want something more…. Don´t know what it is now….. We´ll see.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Streetstyle – polka dots and ruffles…

pullover H&M on sale but only available in stores similar here and here / tights / Celine dupe Fashion Drug / sunnies H&M / skirt bonprix similar here and here / heels Buffalo old similar here and here

….

Hi guys,

I always thought I would be more a of a pink girl but when I saw this baby blue ruffle pullover I immediately fell for it. Not only for the color but also for the ruffles. Have you seen these cuties attached to the sleeves?!

I added a faux fur midi skirt to it to balance out the girly look of the pullover. This is one of my favorite skirts I own cause the stlye is classic. A straight midi cut is a style you can never go wrong with. Also faux leather is still so trendy and there is no end in sight.

To add some highlights I went with this polka dots patterned tights I truly adore. This is a print which works so well with so many other pieces and sets so many highlights to a look. The sunnies are from H&M and I also have them in an all black color cause I love the style. This one is the grey and black patterned turtoise shell optic.

The Celine Phantom dupe I got from Fashion Drug is my favorite black bag to carry around all the stuff I think I have to take with me.
Did it snow at your places too ? It snowed so much in the last two days I could barely find my car under all the snow. This is really crazy. I thought there wouldn´t be anymore snow but I guess we have to life with it.

My birthday spent in Vienna – Austria – Day 1 – what to see and where to eat…..

(St. Stephan´s cathedral)

(Graben – shopping street)
(Hofburg from the outside)

(Hofburg from the inside – the coffee was on the right side here)

(Natural History museum of Vienna)

….

Hi guys and happy Saturday,

you might have noticed from my Instagram that we have been to Vienna this week for my birthday.

I had been there a few years ago and forgot a lot and Florian has never been in this city so we thought it would be nice to get away for a few days after the Christmas stress.

It is about 4 hours away from our home so we where there pretty quick. The weather hasn´t been any other than in our hometown so we packed lots of sweaters and boots.

After arriving at our hotel – we stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in the west of the city – we went into the old city right away. They have a great underground system pretty easy to adjust and I would really recommend buying a two or three day ticket cause you can get close to all the sights in a short amount of time.

The first thing we went to see (arrived on Sunday so all the shops where closed) was St. Stephen´s cathedral (was built in 1365). A huge cathedral in the middle a huge place where all off the shopping streets meet.

We also had been inside and it was even bigger. This is always so impressive to me how people where able to build such high and huge buildings many centuries back. I also love the colorful glass windows the old cathedrales have.

Our next stop was the Hofburg. The hofburg is a former imperial palace where the famous „Sissi“ lived. It was built around 1300. The area of it was huge. There where several other buildings like the riding school and big arcs where the carriages could drive thru. Nowadays there are also two museums located and two buildings for the parliament.

Vienna also has its own museums quarter but there wasn´t time to visit and we aren´t huge museum people.

After drinking a hot chocolate at the Hofburg café – cause it had been so cold after wandering around for hours – we went back to the hotel to shower, get changed and go out for dinner (coffee is around 5 Euro at the Hofburg so don´t be surprised).

We searched the internet for some restaurants to eat but here where just too many so we enclosed our search by restaurants in a walking distance from our hotel and we found an Indian restaurant. Since it was Sunday at that is our choice of food for Sundays we went there right away. The restaurant is called Rani and the food was delicious – in fact we wanted to go there every day. I ate the Murgh á la Rani which has been chicken with a savory sauce and a Naan which is the flatbread and Florian ate the Ghost Madras which has been beef in a spicy sauce with onions and pepper and he also ordered some Indian rice as a side dish. We had some red wine and just enjoyed our evening – haven´t been on a date night for such a long time with all the festivities going on lately.
