It´s my birthday and 28 things about me you probably didn´t know….

Hi guys,

I am turnig 28 today and you might have noticed that we are celebrating my birthday away from home today – in Vienna, Austria. I thought this would be a nice idea since there where lots of parties I hosted during the holidays and I did´t want to host my own birthday party and I don´t like surprise parties.

So today I am sharing – besides some birthday pictures – 28 things (cause I turned 28 today) about me you might or you might not have known.

1 – I am a coffee addict – absolutely guilty
2 – I love buying books but don´t have enough time to read them
3 – I love eating peanut butter just from a spoon
4 – I eat my steak english
5 – If I don´t pick an outfit the night before I probably run an hour late cause I won´t find anything in the morning
6 – I am not and probably wil never be a morning person
7 – Chloe has her own bed but I let her sleep to my feet in our bed every night
8 – I am a candle hoarder – not burning as much as I am buying
9 – I had eyebrows like a wolf when I was in high school
10 – I hate driving. It is the worst for me to drive long distance
11 – I love everything that sparkles
12 – working out is the worst for me – I really hate it but I have to go
13 – I love learning song texts so I can sing along all the songs which are in the radio
14 – I am constantly trying to evolve my beauty routine
15 – I am terrible impatient
16 – I had always been bad at doing the maths
17 – my favorite color is red
18 – fall is my favorite season
19 – my eyes are green
20 – I am a natural blonde
21 – I would rather choose to eat tortilla chips than chocolate
22 – my favorite movie ever is The Devil wears Prada
23 – I love to cook
24 – I don´t run becaue no one has ever looked good running
25 – I broke my arm when I was nine
26 – I am line dancing in my spare time
27 – my favorite meal is a Ceasar Chicken Salad
28 – I have a huge lipstick collection but can´t stop buying new ones

We are engaged….

Hi guys,

this post was a long ovedue one but now I finally have time to write a blog post about it. We are ENGAGED. I am so so so happy.

To say I didn´t see it coming wouldn´t be true cause we talked about it a lot but I was not quite sure about the where and when and of course I had no idea how the ring would look like. He knew that I prefer a classic shape but rest was up to him.

On Christmas Eve Florian finally pulled the trigger. We had champagne and he gave the ring before the other presents to me (wasn´t quite interested in them afterwards but now I love them), he also said a few words but I want to keep them private.


So now I am in full wedding planing mode. We already have set a date for the middle of September this year. I also have found a location we both like this week. 


I am planing on sharing the progress for the wedding on the blog and I couldn´t be more excited. I hope you all also looking forward to read my wedding planing post since this is going to be an exciting time.

I am currently writing from home (perks of only working 4 days a week) bundled up on my sofa and enjoying my coffee (wanted to get so much done but I got a migraine and couldn´t do anything) and reading some blogposts from some of my favorite bloggers. 

This outfit would also be perfect for now since everything I am wearing is super soft and cozy. The pullover is a deep and vibrant red which I love so much. A perfect color not only for Christmas but also for every other day. 


And in my opinion beige pairs so well with red. 


I added my otk boots and my favorite Michael Kors shopper to the outfit and also the most blogged scarf of 2017. I feel like every blogger got this one the last year. Can you remember 2016 – the plaid scarf with two different sides in blue, red, black and white ? There is always one item which seems to be on every fashion account all around the world.


Do you have any weekend plans? I have to start packing over here but I think I am going to have another cup of coffee first.

anyone else a sucker for polka dots like me? Gotch ya. Besides flowers, stripes and plaid this is my favorite pattern. It just adds such a playful touch to an outifit. In fact you can never have enough dotted clothes.
I recently got this black pleated skirt and I love it. For me it makes a perfect staple. I can pair so many pieces with it and get so much use out of it. And it is on sale too!!
The purple pullover matches perrfectly with my favorite lipstick color ever. It is Rebel from MAC. The color is just a beautiful rich plum shade, not too dark and not too bluish. This one works for probably every skin tone.
Another thing I finally got are hoops. I had so many when they where trendy a few years back (remember Jennifer Lopez). I got mine at H&M in a set with three different sizes but I always wearing the biggest size. Just love how they sparkle and they are the perfect earrings for a ponytail.
