Dune and LYDC London – Hand bags to die for……

Hi guys

today I am introducing you to a brand I discovered lately- Dune London.

It´s – of course – an English brand based in London. They sell accessories like all kind of bags and shoes for men and woman.

I ordered a hand-bag and I must say it is absolutely stunning. The quality is really good. And the details and the hardware are fantastic.

It is a vibrant turquoise one. It has two several pockets with lots of space for your stuff. The handles are short but the bag also has a longer and adjustable one.

I was searching for a color like this quite a while. It is a perfect summer color and it even matches with a lot of stuff I am wearing in the cold and foggy winter months.

The second brand I tried is LYDC London, also an English brand which´s home is in London.

This hand-bag is very classic and elegant with a touch of sweetness. It has a nude color and a bow upfront in an even lighter color.

Checkered Skirt – A winter essential

Hi guys

today I am wearing a great winter outfit. This might be one of my total favorites this season.

It is a checkered wool skirt and a black turtleneck pullover. The pullover hat cute buttons on the sleeves. The colors of the skirt are off-white to all kind of greys to black.

I paired it with a simple black tight and my all-time favorites – my buffalo velvet heels.

This is a nice and simple but also special outfit for winter time or even for fall but I in my opinion – wearing checkered or plaid patterns don´t match with the warmer months.

Holiday Eggnog – Recipe and favorite movie ;)

todays recipe is about a drink I am looking Forward the whole year until it is time for it……

EGG NOG

I am so loving it so lets see how your are preparing for it…..

Ingridients:

4 Cups of milk (one litre)

2 vanilla beans

2 cinnamon sticks

12 egg yolks

200 gr sugar

4 Cups of cream (1 litre)

and of course: rum

Put the milk, the vanilla and the cinnamon sticks into a pot and start to heat it up for some minutes.

Put the egg yolks and the sugar into a different bowl. Put the milk into this bowl – very slowly – be carefull with the egg.

Put the whole mixture back into the pot. Important : It should not cook. Otherwise you have to start over again.

Leave it there until the consistency gets thicker and then put as much rum into it as you like.

I serve it hot.

And know we are coming to my favorite part. The best Christmas movie is National Lampoos Christmas vacation with the griswold Family. I have been watching this movie over and over again and I am still loving it.

They are using Special glasses in the shape of a moose for their egg nog – and guess what – you can get them on Amazon.

I think they are super cute and they may also make a great gift as well.
