well, probably not to happy to most cause of work and other unpleasant stuff but we somehow have to start into the new week and why not by trying the best we can to make it brighter. The weekend has been amazing. The weather was Summer on point. It really couldn´t have been any more beautiful. Blue skies, warm breeze and sunshine the whole day. That lasted for exactly two days and today it is cloudy and the humidity is up to next level (frizz extreme). So I am throwing back to Saturday and share this adorable Summer look with you.
For Summer there is this one material which gets me immidiately in the mood and that is wicker. Whether it is a handbag, a hat or an adorable pair of shoes made out of wicker, it is the perfect addition or to be more clear, the perfect summer accessory to your closet for the nice and warm months of the year.
I recently got this super cute woven sun hat from Asos (brand is South Beach) and been wearing it a lot. Is is super lightweight and the black ribbon around the brim makes it sophisticated matching so well with all kind of looks. I don´t like being in the sun for to long and if I have to a sun hat is always my first choice cause it protects your scalp and head and also your face from the sunrays.
In this look I have paired it with a gorgeous Summer dress I got on the H&M sale a few weeks ago (it is now sold out but I have linked a similar beauty above) and couldn´t wait to finally wear it (took a little longer than I expected). For accessories I went with all things wicker and raffia I could find. The bag I am wearing above is the closest dupe I could find to the Kult Gaia. It is made very similar but is a square instead of an arch and I personally like that better and also the price point is great. The last thing some raffia is involved are my beloved espadrilles. If you are a regular reader (or even if not) you might have noticed that I am obsessed with them (also got them in black). The price is great. The look and fit are perfect. The raffia sole, the off-white color and the pretty ribbon to tie around your ankle.
