….

Hi dolls,

I had been so excited all along to show this travel recap with you. There where a few months between this vacation and our last trip to London and for me it seemed just like an endless time of waiting and of course time flew by during our stay, cause that´s how it is when you are enjoying your time so much.

This time we went on a (real) roadtrip. Normally I do not like this kind of vacations (went to brazil and had been on an roadtrip for almost three weeks – and don´t get me wrong it was beautiful but just so exhausting driving long distances until you get to a hotel where there might not even be a free room. So this time I planned upfront and booked our hotels early because we took Chloé with us and so we needed a dog-friendly hotel and we stayed a few days at every city we where stopping so I did not want to change accomodations inbetween this time.

Yes we took Chloé and I had been so happy about this decision. I am always sad when I have to leave her at my parents house and it makes me even sader seeing other people on vacation who took their dogs with them.
She had been really patiently during the drive and all the waiting and she really enjoyed the nature and we where there 24/7 so this had not been a problem at all.

So for our first three days we stayed in Bressanone (Brixen). This is a really small city (on some times there was no one on the streets) but also one of the biggest of south-tyrol so you can see this is a small part between Austria and Italy but it belongs to Italy.

After arriving at our hotel (the Löwenhof Hotel) and checking-in in the afternoon we first had coffee and a panini. Afterwards we went to the room and took a nap before heading to the pool.
For dinner we went down in the city. We ate at a restaurant called “Torre Biance” which means white tower – one of the sights in Bressanone.

On our second day we decided to go a little outside the city by driving to a mountain called Plose. We took the cable railway to get to the top. Chloe wasn´t amused by the way. After we arrived it was pretty foggy but it cleared up really soon. We went on the trail to take a long walk with Chloe but turned back very soon as she was followed by a big free running cow. So we went to the mountain restaurant, had some coffee and enjoyed the view before taking the cable railway to get back to the car.
After exploring some nature we went to the city centre to get some ice cream and to take a look at the shops. They didn´t have many since the city is little but I found a really cool italian store called Tezenis. The sell underwear and bathing suits and I found this super cute pineapple swimsuit and a ruffle bikini.
We went back to our hotel to lay at the pool and had some delicious mexican food at “Bufalo Cantina´s” for dinner.

The third day was filled with adventure. We drove to Sterzing, a small place nearby and went up the “Gilfenklamm” a ravine which has so many clear waterfalls and beautiful nature. Chloe was really into it. She loved hopping her way up to the top. Arriving at the top we first had lunch at a restaurant. We ordered some typical food for the area and didn´t get disappointed. In my opinion we didn´t eat better the whole week than in this place. We had “Schlutzkrapfen” – a spinach filled kind of pasta which butter and parmesan cheese and “Nocketrio” – three different dumplings filled with mushrooms, spinach, cheese and a cole slaw with bacon topped with butter and cheese. So many calories but so delicious. On our way down and back to the car it started raining cats and dogs and we where soaking wet after a short time so the only thing we did for this day was taking a long and hot shower and eat dinner at the hotel´s restaurant.

So in fact we did a lot during our first three days.

What do you think ?

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you.

Casual Saturday #7….

Mug and plate is H&M
Cookie recipe from HRHH

….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affilate Links-not sponsored)
another week is finally over and we are getting closer to our vacation each and every day.

I already started packing as it is really warm in Italy and I want to wear as many Summer dresses I can and on the other note I want to take as many outfit pictures as possible cause I won´t get these backgrounds back to soon. But I planed a seperate post on packing.

Shopping:
I am still thinking about these pair of adidas sneakers. I have ordered them in white and sent them back and now I might get the pink ones. I can wear a kids size easily so they would be cheaper too.

Another thing I purchased is this clear acrylic organizer from amazon for my make-up corner in the bathroom. In fact I am just sitting on the bath tub and use the windowsill but I can´t open the window that easily when I have to remove every single thing so this cute little organizer really is a win for me.

I also found this adorable bag from Hallhuber. Doesn´t it look like a little cloud ?
It is from the 40 years of style collection and just so adorable. It is available in several colors but I love the baby blue shade. The bamboo handle is just the coolest and it has also an extra bag inside for all the smaller things you carry with you.

Reading:
I don´t know if this counts for reading (cause afterall I use it as a coffeetable book) but I got the latest Lauren Conrad book – Celebrate and I almost read it at once. This is something which I am really interested into. Tablescapes, decoration, menus, table manors and table settings and so on. It is the perfect book (and I also lost All in good taste from Kate Spade) if you want to improve yourself at those themes.

Food:
I tried out several things and my favorite of these week where the buffalo wings lettuce taccos. These where delicious I couldn´t get enough and I am not eating really much for dinner usually.

Another thing I tried was this shrimp / rice / broccoli dish. It wasn´t bad – Florian liked it really much – but I didn´t like the sauce. I might try this one again but with a different sauce.

And last but not least a vegetarian option. A chickpea curry. This was by far my favorite. So so good. It smelled so good I wanted Indian food immediately.

If you want to have any recipe information you can E-Mail me. Most of the recipes are from foodguidevideos from Instagram.

We also tried out a new restaurant in Regensburg. It is called bar Ravel –  a spanish tapas bar. I always wanted to try one out but the closest I got was the Greek tapas bar in London. I have a few pics on my Instagram stories so hurry.

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice weekend.
Take care. See you.

A visit at the nepal temple and a palm leaf dress….

Dress bonprix / Hat from a market similar here / Parfois palmtree flats / Clutch H&M really old similar here and I love this one

….

Hi guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affilate Links-not sponsored)

everytime I got a few days off I just can´t relax. It is like there are a millions things to do and explore and I want to do them all at once.

So we planed a couple of excursions on sights nearby and on one day we went to the Nepal temple and gardens. It was only a 45 minutes drive until we got there.

The gardens are all around a big temple and a small pond with lots of koi karps. We spent some hours there exploring everything and taking some outfit pictures.

It is really nice and neat there but you can´t take your dog with you – that´s the only downside.

This outfit worked perfectly for the garden atmosphere. The dress is one of my latest finds and I love the palmprint. I am totally into palmprints right now. I also got this swim suit from SheIn. Another thing are the flats. How cute is the little palmtree brooch ?! They matched perfectly with the dress although they where almost to flat for a maxi dress.

As always thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you.

Casual Saturday #5….

….

Good morning and happy Saturday,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affilate Links-not sponsored)
I am really happy today cause the temperatures had been in the high twenties the whole week which means sandals and dresses as much as I can wear.

The next week means spare-time for me and Florian is still at home (until the 31st) so we planned lots of fun things to do. We planned on visiting a famous lake near Munich and a botanical garden with a chinese inspred temple.

Yesterday we had our first garden party on our patio. After setting up our furniture and getting everything ready outside we officially opened our patio. It was a really nice evening, having a BBQ with friends, good food, drinks and good weather. That is how I like my Summer evenings.
I didn´t have too much work upront. The flowers where made by a local florist and I only had to “cook” the salads.

We didn´t really do so much cause I had some migraine episodes all over the week. Really bad ones. I especially hate when they are starting at night cause you can´t prevent the pain before it gets really bad so that you wake up from.

On another note I now have a shopstylecollective widget on the bottom of most of my posts which makes shopping for you a lot easier but I still have linked all the items in the text too.

Food:
So because I was ill most of the week I didn´t try anything new or really cooked as much as usual and nothing special at all.
But I made a “Bellinie cake” with peaches and champagne yesterday. It is one of my favorites cakes. It is pretty simple to make but it takes some time to get all the ingredients together.

And the other foods I made are the salds for the BBQ. They aren´t as simple as salad may sound.

 – an Italian noodle salad with pesto

– a gnocchi salad with parmesan and basil

– a greek salad

(this cute oil & vinegar set just arrived in time from amazon)

and another dish I made are baked potatoes with bacon, cheese and leek.
Got this one from Instagram and it is simple, delcicous and makes a perfect side dish for a BBQ.

Reading:
I got the latest Instyle magazine and there are some amazing pieces like off-shoulder shirts, lace shirt and pretty sandals.

I also found a new blog (well, not new but new to me). It is about lifestyle, food and home decor. The beautiful lady is called Monika Hibbs and her tablescapes are insane. So so pretty.

 Shopping:
I hadn´t been interested in much this week but I am eyeing with these pink block heels sandals from even&odd. Arent´t they pretty and the color is so beautiful. Perfect for Summer.

Also really pretty is this shopper from LYDC and this off-shoulder top from Vero Moda.

Things are pink over here this week.

TV:
In fact there wasn´t a thing I watched this week. To much to do. Too tired. I wanted to be outside the few hours I had left in the evenig as the weather is so nice.

 Home:
My bedroom tour post went up on Wednesday. You can read it here.

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you.
