we had an amazing time swimming today and are really worn out but I can remember I always slept best after a long day full of swimming and splashing. Emilia is such a fan of the water and it´s just the best thing ever to watch her enjoy this element so much.

Anyways let´s talk about this amazing off-shoulder dress. I personally love off-shoulder dresses for everything cause the off-shoulder adds such a drama to the look. And who doesn´t like to make a dramatic entrance, am I right?

How to style the off-shoulder dress

Since the dress is stunning itself I would not add to much. A fine pair of shoes, a cute handbag and a pair earrings big or small are enough. The dress stands for itself and doesn´t need much. It has a crinched waistline but I wanted to set a little bit more of the focus on there so I added a slim belt as well.

And how cute is this backdrop??? It is the most beautiful flower shop I have ever seen.

How amazing is jersey maxi dress? It is probably one of the most comfortable things. Comfy like a nightgown but a lot prettier. I definitely love a maxi dress year round but it isn´t as easy and breezy as in Summer season.

How to style a jersey maxi dress

A maxi dress is a pretty easy piece to style for Summer. In fact you would only have to throw on a pair of shoes and grab a bag and go. There is no shaving neccessary cause no one sees your legs 😉

I decided to go with a non-specific look that would work for many different ocassion. Since my handbag was gray I went with lots of silver touches like in my jewelry and my sandals. Adding a blazer to an outfit always elevates the look but it will be to hot for a regular one so make sure to wear linen or seersucker in the Summer months.

There is so much use to get out of a plain colroed maxi dress. You can style it for many different ocassions cause Summer is still long and there is plenty to do this year.

we had a great day today. Went on a little scenic drive to a nearby city. Had a delicous lunch with our dearest friends. The food was amazing, the weather gorgeous, the kids so well-behaved and overall it was a really good day. So let´s get to number four of my Summer dresses.

How to style a denim dress

Denim plays a huge part in our everyday fashion. There isn´t one thing of fashionable piece that doesn´t exist in a denim version too so it is no surprise that there are so many cute denim dresses out there. I mean give me some ruffled sleeves and I am all yours.

A denim dress is probably one of the easiest pieces to combine. Adding any color you like will make it look great. I went with blush and cognac brown and in my opinion it turned out super pretty. You could also go with all black accessories and sneakers to tune it down a little or wear a pair of heels and some sparkly jewelry to make it date night appropriate.

Summer denim usually is a little lighter than normal denim which means you won´t sweat as much but in my opinion it wrinkles a lot easier.

and welcome to day three of 31 dresses of Summer – my July special. We didn´t do much today other than visiting my in-laws.

How to style a spaghetti strap linen dress

So this was a new type of dress for me. I never wear a spaghetti strap dress because I do not like my arms. I think they are to fat to look good in these kinds of dresses but this year I thought what the fu** life is short and when I want to wear spaghetti straps I´ll do.

So the dress is made of a linen blend material. Linen is the perfect material for Summer. It is breathable and has a cooling effect for your skin. Linen is in my opinion a love it or hate it material. I definitely have a few pieces but mom can not wear linen because it is so itchy for her.

I styled the dress with a cute little black cardigan I put loosely around my shoulders and of course with a pair of woven sandals. These are my favorites for the Summer.
