Hi guys,
(post contains links/Werbung-Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Links-not sponsored)
TADAAA !! I am finally sharing the favours I got/made for our guests. I wanted to already share them before our wedding but since some of my guests are reading my blog this wouldn´t be the best idea.

I had this on my mind for a long time but still was looking for something else but there isn´t anything else I liked better. Since I have had M&M´s personalized for Florian´s birthday last year and I have seen how many options they offer I was sold. Although I didn´t know that would be married the next year and one week later.

Just have a look at their site. They offer print and colors for everything whether you need something for Valentines for a baby shower or a birthday. The service is really good too. We waited about a week until they shipped our package. If you are ordering in summer like I did don´t worry. Your M&M´s are packed in a  case packed with cool packs.
Since there where so many colors to choose from I went with the orange of my wedding color theme and added a nude color to it. The Just Married lettering and the ring symbol are the two pictures I wanted. The rest was our names and the date so people would acutally remember from which wedding the sweets were.
For packaging I didn´t even give it a thought. I loved the idea of filling them into these little glasses and tie a little thank you tag around it. They are not supposed to be eaten but if somebody wants to you get access easily.
Overall personalized M&M´s aren´t cheap. A 1.5 kilo package costs 80 Euro and I needed two of them and we are a really small wedding group compared to others. The little glasses where 0,75 Euro each. I got mine from Nanu Nana but I am sure you can get them in every craft store.
The thank you tags (Danke in German) are form kartenmacherei.de. I have all my wedding stationery and every other tag and invitation from their site. I truly love the quality, the service and the many possibilities.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Wedding Wednesday – our wedding rings….

 Rings custom made at Christ
….

Good morning friends,
(post contains links/Werbung-Markennennung, Verlinkung – not sponsored)
I always had a picture of my perfect engagement ring in the back of my mind (and also on my secret wedding Pinterest board) and I really got a super close version. A classic cut, white diamond and white gold. So dreamy. Still love to stare at it as it sparkles in the sun.

So choosing our wedding rings have been a whole other task. I wanted a two-tone ring but I wasn´t quite sure what Florian was thinking about that and also what he liked. As it turned out he had no clue what he liked. So we made an appointment at our local jewelry store (my engagement ring came from there and also my wedding jewelry and several other pieces we own).

We thought that at Christ, our jeweler we would find a pair we liked both and are going to enjoy wearing for the rest of our lives. That they had to had a big variety was obvious but we didn´t expect it to be this huge. There are differences in everything. Color, weight, width and also round isn´t round. You can have a small overview of their wedding ring section online but it really is a small offer.

So we went with white gold first but decided to with platinum cause the material is way stronger and the price was less since the gold prices are so high at the moment.  This definitely was a win-win for us.

The second color we choose to the platinum was rose gold. I wanted a second color and although first I wanted normal gold we opted for the rose since it is much more flattering tone to your skin and the real gold was super yellow and I didn´t like that at all. And I also wanted some diamonds on my wedding ring. Apparently three had to be enough.

We engraved them with each others names and our wedding date on the inside. This is like our secret little code 🙂

I really love our wedding rings and I can´t wait to wear mine in two weeks. So exciting.
Thanks for stopping by. It means a lot to me.

Wedding Wednesday – my bachelorette weekend in Marienbad….

Good morning guys,
I warn you upfront. This post contains a picture flood and sooo much information.

….

….let´s continue…

(post contains links/Werbung-Markennennung, Ort, Hotel/Post enthält Links-not sponsored)
I am already counting down the days to our wedding (we are at  23 today). It is so exciting. I am so nervous but in a good and not anxious way.

I still have a whole bunch of Wedding Wednesday posts in my draft but some of them are scheduled to be posted afterwards like my wedding make-up, the guests favors and all the other things our guests shouldn´t see before.

So today I am recaping my Bachelorette Weekend in Marienbad. Marienbad is a small place in the Czech Republic and only 1 1/2 hours to drive too (be sure to get a vignette at the gas station before crossing the border – a small sticker which allows you to use the motorway without paying a fine). It is known as a Spa and Wellness place so this sounded perfect to spend a few days there.

I went there with my three bridesmaids and we had a blast. The three days were honestly so much fun. We laughed a lot, enjoyed each others company and talked so so much which was really nice cause getting together isn´t as easy when everyone is on a different work schedule and has a partner and other commitments.

Our hotel was called Gourmet Hotel Villa Patriot. It is such a pretty building with a viewing plattform in the front where you could have breakfast or just overlook a part of the city and have a glass of bubbly. The lighting in the evening was really gorgeous and made the building look like a miniature of the white house.

The bedroom situation was awesome. We booked an apartment (usually known as a suite – never done that) with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room which was great. I really loved that we could sit together and chat without crossing the halls to get to the other rooms. Also the style was very southern with charming old furniture and high ceilings. I liked it a lot and enjoyed staying there. It was so much fun. Also the extra entrance around the main building was great so you didn´t have to walk through the lobby all the time. Super super cool. I would really recommend rooms like this when you are spending a girls weekend.
The first day was mainly for exploring the area and the surroundings. After checking in we found a Czech restaurant and since we were all hungry we sat down there. I am a lover of the bohemian cuisine from day one (since I had been in Prague for the first time). Their goulash is famous for its delicious gravy, tender meat and dumplings. Prices for food and drinks are ridiculously low.

After our little refreshment we went back to the hotel and unpacked and sorted out our room situation.

Shortly after, we headed down to the city to explore the shops and for some coffee and also for a drug store cause I had forgotten my tooth brush. Who else would it be?!

The shopping there is really limited as people are mainly there to relax but you can find some cute stores along the way with porcelaine and leather goods and crystal glass.

We mainly went from one coffee shop to another which was so relaxing and great for watching people. For dinner on the first day we headed to a tapas restaurant called Medité. If you are ever in the area be sure to have dinner there. The food was incredible and the staff so nice and polite. I have never seen so artful and pretty tapas before and of course so so so delicious. We sat on the porch and ate our tapas and drank a glass of wine and just enjoyed the evening.

Since we didn´t have a pool but we were offered to use the pool area of another hotel which had not opened to the public yet, we gave it a try and walked over. After about ten minutes (just crossing the parc in front of the hotel and walking by at some sights).

The pool was pretty small but it was enough for the four of us. They also had a hot tub and offered a steam bath. Everything was brand new.

After taking lots of pictures and swimming/relaxing a little we headed back for lunch and coffee.

On our way back we went through the collonnade (this building is from 1827 and the arches and windows are so beautiful). This was the main area of Marienbad in the earlier years where everybody gathered when something happened or when there was a celebration. Like a village square. Also located here is a “Singing” fountain. The fountains plays music at every odd hour.

Walking back trough the parc we found a few booths which had incredible cool accessories. Two of us got a trendy bag/backpack (we had to walk back there and get one more the next day) and also so pretty scarves and sun hats.

The afternoon was spent at a café since the worst thunderstorm I have seen in a while hit us while eating pancakes. Not nice at all.

We got ready at the hotel  with a hot shower and some glasses of bubbly to feel back normal. Then we heaed out for dinner.

So first things first. I am NOT recommending this restaurant – headed to the New York Bar Caffé . It might look very modern and nice and yes the food is good but until we got there we almost starved.
First of all they didn´t understand any language than their own. Second of all they forgot half of the stuff we ordered and not only once. Third of all they had way to many insects inside of the restaurant which made enjoying your food really hard.

After the mood dropped we wanted to have a nightcap somewhere so we found a nice little bar close to our restaurant playing the funniest/strangest live music I have ever heard but at least the mood came back and a couple of delicous drinks too.

On the next morning we enjoyed a last breakfast and then headed home (after getting the third backpack) to our loved ones.

It really was such a lovely weekend and I so thankful for my bridesmaids who organized it. I enjoyed talking/laughing/eating/swimming and exploring and they got along so well together wich means the world to me.

As always thanks for stopping by guys. Take care. See you.

….

Hi guys and welcome to another Wedding Wednesday post,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung – Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
since you might now from my former posts I had my Bridal Brunch two Saturday´s ago. I invited all the girls and ladies which attend our wedding for brunch and also to get to know each other. Might have gotten some presents all well and I really don´t mind about that.

The theme was pretty clear from the invitations to the flowers and table scape and to the cake everything was pink, blush and rose with a touch of gold.

Since we are getting married in the fall and also Florian wasn´t that fond of the idea of pink accents at our wedding I went all in for this event.

The invitations really looked like I had imagined. Soft hues wiht florals around the text and blush on the back. This is a letter I would love to receive in the mail and not always plain white bills. I got them from kartenmacherei.de and they usually where save-the-date cards but since you can customize everything you can write on top what you like. I decided to go with round corners and the mother-of-pearl finish. They turned out so nice. I am glad I could save some for my memory wedding box.

Since I invited so many people and my living room is only capable of hosting 14 sitting people or 20 standing people I had to extend to the outside. Luckily the weather was alright so we also got some fresh air and more space. I stringed together 3 tables and covered them in white. Adding a rose sequin table runner immediately created a romantic look. So did the paper plates with the beautiful flower pattern. I wanted to have all of the tableware in plastic or cardboard so I could easily throw it into the gargabe afterwards. Even we are having a big dishwasher but this would have taken many loads to get cleaned up.
I devided the food and the drinks so people wouldn´t gather up in one corner and get stuck. The coffee table was covered with coffee, different juices and of course some bubbly.
Have you noticed the adorable flower arrangements on the table. They where made by Florian´s adorable mum. She is just the sweetest and so talented with all things flowery. The hydreangeas and roses came from her own garden. Also the smell of the flowers was incredible.

The buffet consisted of two tables I clothed with pink plastic ruffle table clothes to hide the hiddeous legs.
We had a sweet and a hearty side offering fresh watermelon, doughnuts, quark dish with berries, rice pudding with raspberry sauce and of course the most adorable cake I have seen in a while. A blush marzipan cake topped with flowers and melted golden colored white chocolate. My heart literally skipped a beat when I unpacked it for the first time. If you like this was the test run for our wedding cake cause it comes from the same cake shop.
The hearty side was covered in salmon burritos and fish filled croissants. Hearty miniature bundt cakes (recipe is coming soon) and a cheese board.

This couldn´t take place without the help of my adorable bridesmaids who helped get everything ready in the morning, the pretty flower bouquets Florian´s mom made and the delicous salmon burritos my mum contributed.

It was a really fun brunch and everyone was talking and interacting with the others and was getting to know eacht other just how I intended it. Now they are having another base when they are meeting again at the wedding in a month and can catch up.

We really are on the home straight to our wedding. My bachelorette weekend is starting tomorrow and Florian´s bachelor party is in two weeks and there is only his birhtday party on the 4th then and wohoo – our wedding.

Thanks for stopping by guys. Take care. See you.
