Casual Saturday #35…

Hi guys,

it has been a while since I have done a Casual Saturday post. Time is really flying.

So let´s see what I have been up to the last weeks.

I had my bridal bruch three weeks ago and my bachelorette weekend last weekend. There is so much wedding stuff going on at the moment and I am in pure bliss. I really am not stressed out at all. I have a schedule, ordered everything by time. Already adjusted everything for the big day so there are only TWO!!! things left to do. It is incredible. Party planning throughout the years has paid off in my opinion.

So let´s see what I have discovered recently:

Drinks // I recently discovered the San Pellegrino lemonade series. I am not a sucker for soft drinks at all (all I usually like is a Diet Coke) but I love these. They are more on the fruity than on the lemonade side so extra point for that and the other thing is I don´t find them to sugary at all. We have tried orange, lemon and pomelo so far. Can´t wait to get the other two.

Shopping // I already started on styling fall looks cause I am so excited that it finally got cooler. I am really done with summer, the heat, the flood of insects, I am sweating all the time and everything starts to stink in a minute. You can see I am over it right!!! That is why the minute it started raining and to cool down I got my pumpkin spice candle and guess what – I missed the smell so much.
Loved this bag – the orange is the perfect fall color. Also this longsleeve is going to be perfect for transitioning into fall and who wouldn ´t love this black jeans??!!

Reading // Two days ago I started a new book. It is called White Lies. It is about an doctor for mental ill patients who is getting reminded of her dark past and all her lies by a patient very soon. It took me a while to get into it but I am going to go through with it since the reviews where so great.

Blog Posts // I loved home decor posts this week. The big girl´s room Emily has created for her daughter Capri is so pretty. Everything is in white and blush pink. Just adorable. Also the dining room reveal from Mara of MLovesM – so beautiful. Got some real maritime flair over there. Like you are right at the ocean. So so nice.


Watching // I have finished season two of Queen of the South and now I have to wait about one year for season three. Also have watched Set It Up on Netflix and I really liked it a lot. The Neflix made movies are also very nice to watch. So I might browse through their library a little. 


Wishing you guys a nice weekend. We are at home and I made some homemade stew and we are watching old seasons of Modern Family for the rest of the evening.

since Summer began two days ago I am first of all wishing all of you a happy Summer and second of all I am sharing my favorite Summer songs on the blog with you today.

Summer really is one of the best seasons, although I am a fall girl and enjoy the cooler temperatures.






We are still at Lake Garda and enjoying our last day today which means we are going back tomorrow and finally see Chloe again cause we miss her so much

Casual Saturday #34…

Hi guys

and happy weekend. I am in full packing mode this weekend. Already packed Florian´s luggage so now I have to finish my own. Also since the I have been planing my outfits way ahead it always seems like some last minute act. 

But let´s move on to the Soccer World Cup which started on Thursday. This may not affect me in a huge way since we are mostly going to look our nations games and also we are one week of during our vacation but I planed some great fingerfood recipes. Already tried one yesterday and loved it.

My bridal brunch is in full planing. The invitations are sent out. Since our wedding color theme is in the most beautiful fall colors orange and burgundy I am going all rose for my bridal brunch.

We are invited to a family BBQ of Florian´s aunt today but I honestly have to admit, as much fun as they are, they are quite intense and exhausting after some time.

I am really quite short today so as I am writing this between two coffees I am already making lists in my head on what to do next.

Casual Saturday #33…

and happy Saturday. Another super hot weekend is here and I couldn´t be happier. There are some things we have planed but not too much so there is still enough time left for doing absolutely nothing.

Yesterday we where out at the cinema to watch the new Jurassic World movie. They only had 3D which was a little disapointing cause I am not a real fan. I always get a headache watching 3D movies over a long time. But it was alright. I don´t want to say anything about the movie here in case you wanna see it by yourself.

We also went to the home depot yesterday because I want to change a little corner in my bathroom and I need some wood and a few decoration articles.

Today we are heading to my grandma´s. We haven´t been there in weeks so it is time.

For tonight we don´t have a plan so we might have a BBQ for ourselves and call it a night. 

I have tried and tested two brunch recipes which where awesome. Including salmon and other delights.

And tomorrow I am going to make some mini bundt cakes. You might think no big deal right ?! But they are going to include bacon and scallions. They might be the perfect side dish for trying out new red wines. 

In fact there wasn´t so much shopping involved this week. I got some tech stuff like charger, powerbank and other cables but you can read this in #travelthursday ´s post. 

I ordered the invitations for our bridal bruch and also some of the decor I want. But until I know the final number of attending people I can´t get everything.
 I am going with a rose and gold theme. Really girly this time since my wedding colors are orange and burgundy.

After a walk through our local drug store I have added a few beauty products into my home so I am going to try these out first before talking about them but you can click them in the widget below.
