Casual Saturday #28….

Hi guys and happy happy Saturday,

at the moment I am busy getting myself ready cause we are going to shoot our engagement photos today. I know it is a little late but I really wanted to have warm and nice weather and blooms in the photos than gloomy backgrounds and mud and since the weather was bad so long we are shooting today.

I really got a pretty dress in a fantastic ivory shade for the shooting. This would make the perfect bridal shower dress too. Classic and elegant but with a modern twist. 

Afterwards we are going to have a BBQ to reward ourselves and then we have to do some work in the garden. We are building up a fence so we don´t have to watch Chloe all the when she is in the garden with us. 

I went to the mall on Friday to pick up Florian´s suit from the tailor and also to pick up his button down and his vest for the wedding.

Everything is coming together and there are only a few things left to do. I need to think about the candy bar, the guest favors and flowers. We already made the table decor so we are set in this category.

In fact I didn´t do a lot this week and you are probably already tired of hearing this cause as it turns out afterwards the post is still getting pretty long.

So I am stopping at this point and am recaping the week in blog posts:

Casual Saturday #27….

this was a pretty simple week to me. There wasn´t much to do and in fact nothing has happened. You might wanna say that this is great cause no one needs the extra drama but somehow something is missing. I will probably regret this very soon.

Spring is in its fullest. There are new blooms and flowers every day I get out and it is wonderful alhtough may alleriges have kicked in. 

Besides the usual photo shoots and content planing we had an information day at our venue to try out the food they cook and test some of wine dealer they are working together with. I think our menu is set by now so there aren´t really many things left to do until the big day is arriving.
We are having out Line Dance test for the silver badge today. So I hope this goes well. I practiced a lot but I am a little nervous. 

There wasn´t anything new we have tried this week and the only things I ordered where the bridesmaid dresses. They came in and I think we have found the right ones in a gorgeous hazelnut shade with sequins.

Casual Saturday #26….

Hi guys and happy Spring,

I know the official first day of Spring has passed already but the weather was so bad you wouldn´t believe that it was Spring but this week was awesome. Temperatures where around 20° degrees the whole time and the sun was out every day. Almost to nice to spend my day at work.

In fact there wasn´t a lot besides work that I did. Monday was still a holiday so we where at home and entertained Chloé and on Tuesday we went back to work. Wednesday was my dad´s birthday but since he doesn´t want to celebrate my mom and I went Line dancing. 

Yesterday we went into the city for a cup of coffee, a champagne ice cream cup and a Zara round. Got some stuff you are going to like guys.

And today we need to go the home department store to get some plants and other stuff for our patio/garden and I also have to pick up my car from the workshop. 

Later in the evening we might be going out with Florian´s uncle which is visiting Regensburg for the weekend.
Since Easter is over I am back to my regular posting schedule so let´s have a look at the week in posts.

Casual Saturday #24….

Hi guys and happy Saturday,

I hope you are also having a nice weekend. Here these are the only two days the weather is going to be pretty and warm before another snowstorm hits us. I am not seeing any difference since January. It goes up and down but it just doesn´t stay warm. 

But let´s talk about Easter which is at the end of next week. There are going to be about three or four Easter blog post planned for next week. In terms of categories there is going to something for home decor, food and drinks and of course clothing. Be sure to check back next week. Also I am doing a giveaway so you might wanna participate.
I didn´t do much shopping this week since we hit the IKEA store last Friday I was busy with building up furniture and add some finishing touches to my decoration.
I ordered two Disney movies (Aristocats and Arlo&Spot) – I just love love love anything Disney related, guess I never grew up – and also a CD with my favorite country band – Florida Georgia Line.
 The sun and warmer temps always get me in the Spring mood and Florian says when I am listening to my country playlists again it must be Spring. Soo true.
Be sure to try out yesterdays recipe. It is delicious believe me. I am kind of picky with fish dishes but this tastes terrific.  Also there are going to be some food ideas for your Easter brunch on the blog next week. A full bunny themed week.

Anyways we had our second anniversary on Monday so we went out to our favorite restaurant and I am always eating the same dish but I am not getting tired of it at all.

On Thursday we finally got our wedding license. This starts to feel very real. In two weeks there is kind of an information evening at our vendor with wine tasting and food tasting and getting to know everyone and the process.

Also since the weather is going to be fine today and tomorrow we are going to shoot seveal looks. So I might be busy on that front. I shot seven indoor posts yesterday. Still can´t believe how we accomplished it but my house looks liked it had a set in every room and not like a cozy and comfortable home. This reminds me of cleaning up the mess today.
