A Sweater Vest that´ll make you happy…

How fun is this colorful sweater vest ?? I only made one resolution for me this year to wear colorful pieces through the whole month of January and February. Those are my worst month dresswise. The darkness and the cold gets me in such a bad mood every year and that reflects in my fashion choices. All I want to wear is black and denim and I hate that.

But let´s give this a try. I have to admit I have been starting of pretty good. So let´s talk about this very 90´s sweater vest.

I haven´t worn sweater vests since I was in school and now that they´re back I have to admit I did miss them. I have worn an oversized white shirt under the sweater vest and a pair of shiny leggings. I am in this strange stage where the bump doesn´t fit into normal pants anymore but big enough for my maternity jeans so leggings and stretchy skirts and dresses it is.

It was definitely a very cute but unusual look for me, especially with the sneakers I am wearing but being pregnant and having a toddler to chase after it seems more convenient plus I have found many cute pieces with lots of color, leopard print and glitter as well.

Are you digging all the 90´s trends which are coming back or have you been happy that they where gone for good?

anyone already up ?? Most of you are probably still asleep unless you have kids hopping around on you. We have been up for quite some time but we only had dinner with some friends yesterday and didn´t go to bed much later than usual.

My favorite part about the first day of the new year is going outside for a walk in the mornings. It is truly quiet and so peaceful cause almost everyone is still inside or asleep.

So I rounded up my top ten most read posts like I do every year and it is always a surprise to me what you guys loved most.

are you ready for New Years Eve ? My most dreaded day of the year. I just don´t like cause it is such a must to do something and party and stay up late but what if I just want to go to bed by 10 o´clock cause I am super tired and over the day???? I mean that wouldn´t be socially accepted.

For this year we planned dinner with our friends like we have multiple times of the year so you wouldn´t even know that it´s NYE but sadly their son got sick and I had to fill in last-minute. Gotta improve the menu as well as my table decor but I think it will be fine cause we have so much stuff I can find some nice things to decorate.

But let´s talk about our cute outfits. Maybe this doesn´t fit together very well with my whole opinion of the day but I take any ocassion to dress up especially this year.

I wanted to wear sequins on New Year Eve, I had planned another sequin dress but it was sold out and the alternative I had didn´t fit at all with my bump so I kept the shirt and figured it out from there and to be honest I am very happy how it turned out. First of all nothing black. I am trying to wear less black and more happy colors this Winter and second of all it is a much more laid back look for hosting a dinner at home.

The pants are old and the somehow still fit, thanks to the huge amount of stretch but the shirt is from my last reel and I recently got it. Would be super cute for a Spring or Summer event as well.

An all nude or creme white outfit looks so elegant so I went on the hunt to find Emilia a similar look and I got the cutest most prettiest dress (which was also super affordable) from H&M.

today is the first real day after all the Christmas festivities and we are still in a lazy rut although I cleaned up today but that was it. We hung around in our PJ´s all day and had leftovers from all the food we ate in the last couple of days. I am sure anybody else who hadn´t go back to work today did the same.

Anyways let´s talk about the real news over here – we will be having another little baby next year in June!!!!! I can´t wait for it to be here and for Emilia becoming a big sister. We also already found out the gender but I am going to share that in a separate post.

It has been a whirlwind around here. Being pregnant while chasing after a toddler is extremely hard but I am so glad she still naps so I did as well. We tried to tell her what is going on and so far she knows that there is a baby in my belly and she has to be very gentle but other than that I am not sure if she totally grasps what is happening here. We´ll see but the last couple of weeks she has turned into the best doll mom we could ask for so I am going to stay positive.

I am now 17 weeks along and my first trimester symptoms are finally fading. I am so happy that the nausea and the exhaustion is lifting. I just can´t believe that I almost forgot everything from my first pregnancy. How great it is to watch your baby on the ultrasound and hearing the heart beat plus the anxiety and excitement before every appointment.

Since this is my second pregnancy and also everyone told me I am not surprised that my bump is already quite noticeable. I had to change into my maternity pants last week, so that´s that.
