Good morning to all my working gals,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
since Summer doesn´t mean exclusively fun in the sun (most of us probably need to work to be able to spend some money on fun in the sun) I am sharing a work appropriate office look over here on Madame Schischi today. So since some are blessed with great air conditioning at their office, others are absolutely lost in the summer heat. Every degrees over 25° C is already to much for myself and I am so lucky it hasn´t been to hot the last three weeks but anyways you should still dress accordingly to your work space although it is super hot.
This means no mini skirt and crop tops. I promise you won´t sweat less by reducing the length of your clothes. Just wear wider cut pieces. If your skin can breath it won´t be to bad. Although thinner clothing might be better to stand the heat it shouldn´t be seethrough at all. And anohter thing that bothers me a lot everytime I see it is when your bra straps are somewhere your shirt will never be. For example wearing a neckholder top and a regular bra. Please invest in a strapless version. It looks SO MUCH BETTER.
But let´s talk about the outfit per se. Black isn´t neccessarily a summer color but it still looks sleek and put together and that is what we need for the heat. I got this dress back in the winter from Zara but there are many other options out there. Black is also always a great option to combine with pops of leopard which I did to create this look.
In fact you could combine it with every color you like just switch out the belt, shoes and bag and you are good to go. Another thing I like to do is to wear my hair out of my face when it is hot. So I make a bun or a pony tail or if I need a quick and pretty solution it is going to be a beautiful pearl embellished headband.
How are you standing the summer heat on weekdays? And do you still wear black when it gets hotter?
